I thought that the description for book 3 sounded interesting, so I entered the Goodreads giveaway for it. After being notified that I had won a copy, I purchased the first two books in the set. I soon realized that all three books suffer from the same issue - not well written and boring as anything. Not even the dialog is interesting - and there are a ton of incomplete sentences plus thoughts and points of view jumping all over the place. Maybe the author will re-write the stories into something enjoyable to read.
I offer my apologies. I have struggled to read 17% of this book and just could not get interested. It was difficult for me to follow. Based on the reviews I have read where everyone thought it was great, I can only apologize; it's a me, not you situation. Thank you.
I feel like this could have been written better. I feel like the author is trying to bring humor into a topic that isn’t humorous and tries too hard to make jokes that don’t land. This book just want for me.
Thanks to the author/publisher for gifting this book. Although the topic was interesting, I found this book a little difficult to read. Rather than fiction, it read like a textbook. If you are interested in the ways illicit narcotics are smuggled, this book may be for you.
