I love buying and reading these types of books.
Boats, yachts, historical events and books about the sea are generally excellent. If there are sequels in your series, I would love to read them.

The beauties of owning the books of important authors cannot be discussed. I'm looking forward to your new books.

For friends who want to read this book, I leave the importance of reading a book here. I wish good luck to the sellers and customers...

Top 10 benefits of reading for all ages:

1. Reading Exercises the Brain

As we read, we need to remember the different characters and settings of a particular story. Even if you enjoy reading a book in one sitting, you need to remember the details during the time you devote to reading the book. Therefore, reading is an exercise for your brain that improves memory function.

2. Reading Is a (free) Form of Entertainment

Did you know that most of the popular TV series and movies are based on books? So why not indulge in the original form of entertainment by immersing yourself in reading? Most importantly, it's free with your Markham Public Library card.

3. Reading Improves Concentration and Focus

We all agree that there can be no reading without focus, and we need to concentrate on every page we read to fully understand the story. In a world where gadgets only speed up and shorten our attention span, we must constantly practice concentration and focus. Reading is one of the few activities that requires your undivided attention, so it improves your ability to concentrate.

4. Reading Improves Literacy

Have you ever read a book where you come across a word you don't know? Books have the power to improve your vocabulary by introducing you to new words. The more you read, the more your vocabulary will improve as well as your ability to communicate effectively. Also, reading improves writing skills by helping the reader understand and learn different writing styles.

5. Reading Improves Sleep

By creating a bedtime routine that includes reading, you can signal to your body that it's time to sleep. Now more than ever, we rely on increased screen time to get through the day. That's why you put your phone away and pick up a book and tell your brain it's time to calm down. Also, since reading helps you relieve stress, reading right before bed helps calm your mind and anxiety and improve your sleep quality.

6. Reading Increases General Knowledge

Books are always full of fun and interesting facts. Whether we read fiction or non-fiction, books have the ability to provide us with information we might not otherwise know. Reading various topics can make you a more knowledgeable person and therefore improve your speaking skills.

7. Reading Is Motivating

By reading books about heroes overcoming adversity, we are often encouraged to do the same. Whether it's a romance novel or a self-help book, the right book can motivate you to never give up and stay positive.

No doubt, this book is a good one.

It covered a lot of material from the basics (What is voltage? What is current? etc.) to much more complex material (How to set up a whole solar solution at home?). It talks about inverters and charge controllers really fleshed out my understanding of the basics.

This book was good. Much better than some of the drivel out there on this topic. I've not given this book 5-stars because at times there was a bit too much detail (the great variety of tools in the toolkit and how various solar panels are made) and, overall, I think the book could have been structured a bit more intuitively.

Having said that, overall, I haven't read a book that is better than this one in this space. It covers the material comprehensively and without a lot of philosophizing or soapboxing. It's packed with information.

I'd definitely recommend it.

Authors's youtube channel can be used as study companion: https://www.youtube.com/@cleversolarp...

Very practical book for those who are not really experts within the real of electronics. As someone who is just in the midst of building their campervan electrical system, it really helped me freshen up the basics (Amps, Watts, Volts, etc), up until I learned how to design, gather requirements and understand on a high-level, what components one needs in order to build an off-grid campervan electricity system. This book won't spoon feed you with everything you need to know, so you'll need to check other sources as well. I recommend checking out Greg Virgoe's videos on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVkDP...) as a companion for your study.

Be sure to read this before even attempting to look at solar power systems.
The author teaches you to determine energy needs, which wires to buy, how to determine battery sizes, other important equipment, and the relationship between these things. Determining the relationships can be a bit math heavy. I found reading the theory and then returning for the math later was easier and less abstract than trying to understand it as it was introduced.
There is so so much more to solar power than you probably think. Must read for anyone thinking of doing even a small set up.

Very simple for non-engineering types. Safety oriented! Yes, you can severely injure oneself or even be fatal, if you don't follow protocol. Nick outlines plus/Minus of 12v vs 110v (inverter). If youre planning out a Solar energy project with an expensive battery bank _This is a fantastic resource.

I liked this book.

I am new to solar power systems. This book helped me to gain a bit more knowledge and understanding as to how we can use light from the sun to power our electrical devices. Pretty cool.

Flash cards in book form

This “book” is really 17 pages of flash cards. More info about basic electricity then how to put a system together. I feel scammed. Better try electricity simplified instead. I’m not sponsored either.

Simplify manual to make solar system at home. Only need information like a plan. For more questions need to find some answers at Internet. But to me is this information in book was enough.

Very effective explanation of potentially complicated subject matter. I came into this with next to no understanding of photovoltaic components, and this (in addition to a few youtube videos I searched out to clarify certain sections) left me much more comfortable with the fundamentals. Great explanation and reference manual to have on the shelf!
