Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. This one was ok for me, part of why was it felt like the couples were forced together for the mission and then decided, I like you enough that I want to keep you. It was interesting to see them train for the mission, loved how the girls kept surprising the guys. But the best part of the training was the sex training, everyone one, boys and girls, seems to be weirded out by this, which was odd to me as they all came off as a different kind of prude.
The mission itself was funny, I found myself laughing when I shouldn't have, but Piper was so funny in her don't touch me persona. I especially loved how she got Luke in the perfect place to end it all for them.
Things were rocky when they got back, but quickly moved past things, ending in HEA's all around.
Actions this rating because this was a really good book. I really enjoy most of the characters. This was a book of compassion, betrayal, manipulation, abuse, And believing in oneself. I really enjoyed this read because I believe in love and I really enjoyed the couples. Not what they had to go through to deal with the manipulation that one of their late team members had to go through. I also love the way they handle that situation. I really enjoy that the two couples fell in love and ended up getting married. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.
I thought this book was so good. It was very different from the other books in this series. I loved the love story of both Rory and Luke. The mission they went on was unusual and good. I definitely recommend this series. I have read all of Mary Kennedy's series and I cannot wait to read the next one!
I thought what they had to do for the mission in this book would b weird to read after all the others, and the way they love and commit to each other but they way it was written and the way the characters reacted to it all, make it all ok. It's not my favourite one out of the series, but it's still a good read. Love all Mary Kennedy's books
I've read each book and with each I thought they couldn't get any better. I do believe this is the best of the best. Definitely has sexual content as well as other action and romance.
The last one is always the best. About time someone wrote a different kind of story. When they are mostly all on the same track it gets kind of boring. This last book makes up for it all.
It’s supposed to be Mama Irene that is the matchmaker, but Gaspar, Nine and Ian are giving her competition here. I love the stories that involve the other family members, it’s like visiting old friends.
The author has truly written a wonderful series from the very first book of Reaper to this book. Weaving all the awesome charts together for a great storyline.
What a book, I don't know where to start other than to say it was amazing. So much happens in this book. I absolutely adored these couples. I'm sad it's finished.
The story here almost redeems the grammatical and story errors. Some names and identifiers are mixed up, and that shouldn't be. You still root for these couples anyway.
How people can harbor so much fear it reacts in hate and violence is amazing. Love the humor and building up of family. Thanks for sharing your stories.
