Monument five guys... five kisses... one winner. The rules are simple... but the game is bound to change when each of these women meets the man of her dreams. She lives her life by ones and zeroes... Eleanor's life makes sense when she's sitting behind a screen, but she could use some guidance when it comes to interacting with people. Her mother says she just needs a plan, but Eleanor wants to write her own rules. And when she meets the stunningly handsome Daniel at a softball game, all her wires get crossed. He's everything she's ever wanted in a guy, but is he too good to be true? Secrets lurk in the Prado family... Daniel's family has secrets, but they aren't his to reveal. And exposing the truth could damage more than his reputation. When he meets Eleanor, she shows him a future he never knew to want, but can he have that future when his family is stuck in the past? Will Daniel and Eleanor be able to face the truth? Or are they only bluffing?
I really thought that this was going to be my favorite but Eleanor's mother really ruined this story. She took things too far. I get why she is upset but blaming someone for something that they had NOTHING to do with was a horrible thing. She wasn't even nice about it. I did like Daniel though. I was glad that he and Eleanor were able to make things work in the end.
Loved Daniel in this book. A passionate, loving, strong man. Once he meets Eleanor, the die is cast. From their first kiss, he know that he wants her but doesn't know how much they will have to overcome to be together. Eleanor, an IT professional, is hard-working and logical, without much passion in her life. When she is introduced to Daniel, the attraction is immediate, but her rational nature prevents her from throwing herself into a relationship with him. However, Daniel continues to pursue the object of his affection and Eleanor, against the objections of her traditional Jewish mother, continues to see him. They begin to create a strong bond.
When details of his family's past come to light, Eleanor must make a decision - trust Daniel and continue to spend time with him, or ascribe his family's actions to Daniel and end their relationship. If she continues to spend time with him, they both risk estrangement with their families.
Will they be able to hurdle the barriers placed between them?
Daniel's strong, passionate and caring nature are so attractive. Eleanor's intelligence and drive to be independent while still maintaining a relationship with her domineering mother ring true. Watching the relationship between these two build was a pleasure to read. Recommended for those romance lovers who enjoy a strong, sensual yet respectful man.

Only Bluffing by Juno Chase is a really good book! Eleanor and Daniel, while very different in just about every imaginable way, are simply perfect for one another. I found this book very interesting for several reasons. The first and most impactful is the historical references and it's integral part to the storyline itself. The other elements of this book I really enjoyed was how Eleanor evolved and accepted that her own wants and desires were greater than her mother's wishes for her life. Daniel Prado, clearly an alpha man, was also very sweet and chivalrous to his core. I especially like that while there is conflict that could keep them apart, Eleanor did not succomb to that pressure. Overall a very well written book with a nice flow, great chemistry between Eleanor and Daniel, interesting and exciting setting and characters not to mention, the must have HEA. I look forward to reading other books in this series as well. I voluntarily read and Advance Reader Copy of this book from Hidden Gems to share my honest review.
A Review of Only Bluffing (D.C. Knights, Book 5) by Juno Chase
Eleanor and Daniel - 4 Stars
I absolutely LOVE the cover for this book as the models really look like the descriptions of the characters that we were given. I have totally enjoyed this series of books and this book was a great addition to the group. I have to say that I learned quite a bit about Argentina and Poland as well with this book that I never knew. With twists and turns, this author definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what will happen next. I am really looking forward to the final two books to see how this turns out.

This has quickly become a favorite series that I look forward to reading. Each of the women have their own battles with completing the bingo cards while falling in live. This book had a bit more hardship than I expected. With their pasts coming into play, things rapidly hit a downhill spiral that causes them to wonder if they’ll ever be an,e to be together. This book was also a real eye opener about some history facts that I am planning to look further into. I cannot wait to see what happens next, as well as who is the winner of the game. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Is Eleanor only bluffing herself? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my 3rd book by Juno, and I love an author who writes in dual point of view. Eleanor joined her coworkers in Monument BINGO, but meeting Daniel drew a rare physical response from Eleanor. Eleanor tried to keep the fact that they were from different religions at the front of their time together, but Daniel was persistent on breaking down her wall. Will Eleanor’s beliefs keep them apart? You have to read to find out.
An interesting story about two people from very different backgrounds finding common ground and love. They have to battle their pasts, their mothers, and much more. I loved the characters and the storyline. I wish there was more of an ending or an epilogue. There are still some unanswered questions beyond the bingo game.
