Life is tough when you don't have a dad. Jamie had a secret. He had a father figure, only his was not in the home, but on a television show. He didn't tell his friends for fear of being teased. Each day he would hurry home from school to watch reruns of The Andy Griffith Show. He learned many lessons from his television dad that he passed on to his younger brother, Chris. Though this helped, he still longed for a real-life dad!
