Sara is Ryan’s personal assistant and sparks are flying between them, but he has a not mixing business with pleasure policy. When a misunderstanding occurs between them, will they find their way back to each other? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. I really liked it.

Office love - I gave this a 4.5 stars but due to rating not in halves, I bumped it up to 5. This story is about Ryan and Sara. Sara works for Ryan as his assistant; however, she has had feelings for him since she first started, but never acted on them as he has not made a move on her. She knows that he looks at her with appreciation but also with desire, but he has a rule never to mix business with pleasure. He does not want to loose the best assistant he has ever had, but when the week long retreat (which I would love to have one of those), they end up riding together and she starts the flirtation with him. The things she does to get his attention and anger him as his jealousy gets the better of him is like playing the part of teenagers.

They have a great working relationship and once they hook up it seems to affect it because he seems to regret it. Could they work these issues out and be together or will this ruin everything and she leaves for good. I will not give more away, so that you may pick up a copy of this. It was awesome.

Sara is a personal assistant to Ryan she knows what he wants before he even asks her. She has planned the company's next retreat the company does every year to create good relationships among the employees and the boss's. However on this trip things get a little crazy and Sara and Ryan give in to their feelings and sleep together. Yet Ryan ruins things when he calls them being together a mistake. When they get back from the retreat things are strained between them and Sara doesn't know what to do. Ryan tries to talk to her but makes things worse. Ryan finally wises up to his feelings about Sara but she's already lined up a new job. Will Ryan be able to convince her to give him a second chance?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

They can't turn the clock back as if nothing ever happened

It is nice to be able to read a book by Brenda Ford again and Intoxicated is a great novella to do it with. This is a "never mix pleasure with business" story about Ryan and Sara. She is his executive assistant but one night at a company retreat they become something way more. What happens the next morning is the bad part as he has regrets about it, even though it was amazingly hot. But going back to the way things were before may not be as easy as he thought it would be especially when he basically does not communicate with her. Like is she just supposed to read his mind or something?
This was an interesting book with an engaging story-line and very nice characters, even when I wanted to kick Ryan's ass I still liked him.

This was a sensationally well written office romance from Brenda Ford. Ryan is a successful business owner with one rule: no fraternizing with female employees. That rule is thrown out the window when Sara Ryan's personal assistant develops a personal and romantic attachment to Ryan. Intoxicated is a fabulous new book from Brenda For with wonderful characters readers will love filled with flirty wit, friendly banter, passion, rule breaking, romance, and love. I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down.

The author has given us characters we can understand. Ryan is interested in Sara, but because of his rule of no mixing business with pleasure, he cannot act on his desires. Sara is interested in Ryan and is trying to get his attention because she thinks they can continue to work together, whether they connect or not.

A good read.
I will admit that there were moments I would have slapped Ryan AND Sara upside their heads if I could reach them. But then there were others where I could have hugged them to death. After a roller coaster of stubborness, stupidity and steam, they finally got their stuff together for a wonderful HEA.
P.S. Where can I find a boss like Mr. Arnold?

Intoxicated by author Brenda Ford. Intriguing tale of fighting your heart. (It’s too damn hard just give in- the heart wants what the heart wants!!) These characters spin out of control - intense emotions spur their paths. Sexual tensions are on high!! Through the twists and turns they must come together or walk away.

Intoxicated. It is always scary when you get involved with co-workers. And that’s just what happens to Ryan and Sara. They fantasized from afar until one retreat team building session. Then life became complicated for both of them. I enjoyed this book! It had a great flow and ending. This was definitely not what I was expecting. For one, the two mc's fought through a good portion of the book. It made for some sad moments. I may have shed a tear or two. In the end they get their HEA but it was just too much drama for me. I didn't feel enough of a connection between them because even as they admit they haven't had a chance to date. Then, we don't get to see any of that relationship building. Plus, the hero was kind of a jerk.

Ryan doesn’t believe in mixing business with pleasure .
Sara is Ryan’s PA and she thinks completely different than him.
Can Sara change Ryan’s mind. And what will happen if things don’t
workout. To find out you have to read it for yourselves.
Good plot and great chemistry between the characters.

A very bumpy ride.

A great love story with all the ups and downs you could possibly want. An office romance that has been simmering for a couple of years suddenly erupts only to be shot down. Ryan and Sara's romance will keep you turning pages as you will want to know what happens next.

Sara and Ryan's story was a good story, they really needed to communicate better, Sara was the worst telling the running and not listening. Ryan just did not know how to articulate what he wanted to say, but if Sara would have stuck around may have got to happy ever after sooner.

Sara is Ryan's assistant at work, which makes her off limit. But both have a strong attraction to each other. When they have to go on a retreat for work they end up not being able to stop themselves from acting on those feelings. But things don't go to easy and they both have strong personalities.
Overall enjoyed their story.

Ryan is the boss and Sara is his assistant. You really don’t know much about either of these characters, which I always like to know. It makes the character more real. The only thing you knew about Ryan was he had a brother Ben and nothing about Sara. They end up having sex at the company retreat and he can’t handle a relationship.
