2047 The Unifier: Sometimes History Needs to be Revisited to Create History

Rate this book
"A GAME PLAN THAT WILL CREATE HISTORY!
They say that love has the power to move mountains, but does it have the power to unite two warring nations?
In 1947, the British put a knife through India's heart when they created two nations, India and Pakistan; two nations that now have a history of war, mistrust and hatred. Can love put a balm on the bleeding hearts of the two nations and unite them forever?
Karan is an Indian boy in love with a Pakistani girl, and the only way he can marry her is if India and Pakistan unite. So, he decides to take up the impossible task of uniting them during the 100th year of partition.
Will people accept his crazy idea? What about the political parties? Will he succeed?
In a world where war is exciting, conflict is cool and intolerance is trending, how do you sell your idea of love and peace? Will there be any takers?
A novel that is conceived in mind, written straight from the heart and dreams of the impossible, a novel that will take the reader through a plethora of emotions and compel the reader to look at relations between India and Pakistan with a different perspective!
An apolitical book that has politics, drama, love, crime, excitement, suspense and at the end, leaves the reader with a nagging question in the mind -- is it possible? "

The story follows Fiza and Karan, both of them belong to different countries and religions. In their initial meet, the circumstances were not their sides although both of them felt the same sort of attraction. Then after a few years, fate has brought them back again and this time they were going to fight the odds to be together but that's was easier said than done.

What happens when Karan tries to do unite the nations that are always engaged in conflicts with the hopes of love. Seems paradoxical, isn't it?

Well, sometimes life surprises you with the strength you didn't know you had it in you. As the tension rebounds and time to act to now or never.

2047 : The unifier is a novel that revolves around different emotions. Considering this is a contemporary with a blend of few other genres, it will be enjoyed by anyone who can understand the very essence that the author wants to convey. Something new and improved, the plot line was, in my opinion, a driving force to the whole book. The protagonists were not the cliched couple that one would expect them to be. There are other characters in this story but talking about them might be spoiler-y so you'll have to read the book to find out who they are.

The writing style was good as well. I don't think there are many books that dealt with topic which were presented in this book. The sole reason of picking up the book was the curiosity to see how the author approaches the vexed situation and delivers a good storyline.

I was confused while reading title and picking up this book but I knew I had to pick this up as I had read the first book by this author and I absolutely loved it. And as I began to read, I started to unfold the logic behind name and cover. The book is based on the India Pakistan issues. It has been 100 years since our independence and partition between two nations so the book is named 2047. The protagonist of the story is Karan. Karan falls in love with a girl who is Pakistani and after that, the series of events took place. Karan can only get married to a Pakistani girl if he reunites both the nations, but as we know it’s impossible task or even thought to think about. But if Karan is going to do so then how will he perform such difficult task. Will people support it. Read the book to unfold further plot.
I am huge fan of the author and I am happy that I picked her book up. Author never disappoints me. If we talk about book, the idea is amazing. So does name and cover. Those three totally gets along. The next thing is I like the narration style of the author. You will immediately fall in love with the narration style of the author. The book has all the components that a strong story can have like romance, drama, political touch, climax etc. I loved the way author has plotted twists and turns. Author has used good vocabulary and language. Overall good one. Recommended from my side.

Love can surely make us do stupid and crazy things, but this wasn't something we can imagine everyday; Unifier is the story of unification of India nd Pakistan in the imagined future, year of this next to impossible unification is 100 years after independence of both i.e. 2047.
A story about the history & present of our country with plot timeline of near future!!
This thought itself is absurd for most of us, if not impossible. I was pleasantly surprised how author has narrated the story of dirty politics with such clean language. How love, peace and brotherhood were highlights throughout the story was refreshingly beautiful.

I also appreciate the multi dimentional narration, mostly the narrative part is handled by the main characters, rest of it is in third party's pov. Hence the all round picture becomes vivid infront of the reader and their is no space left for confusion to creep in.
Author has tried to do justice to almost all characters though some of them seem to fail in showcasing their multiple shades, some of then are too good, some too bad, the realistic approach hence went missing. Another lacking point was the description of future, I found it rather blunt and boring. TBH author's imagination couldn't satisfy my expectations of technological and social advancement to say at the least.
Overall I'm clearly not disappointed by this romantic political thriller.
Beginners of this genre can start their journey from this one.
Go for it! Happy reading.

The book gives hope. Hope that the two hostile nations can be unified again. Though not impossible but highly unlikely as the author mentioned in one of the chapters. The story begins with love story of Fiza and Karan and takes an altogether turn when Karan’s father comes up with a strange, nearly impossible condition to agree to this alliance. There are parallel stories of Sooraj and Anu too and all these stories go hand in hand in the main plot. Did Fiza and Karan succeed in unifying the two nations? What price they had to pay for it? Read the book and find out.
I liked the plot, though dramatic yet interesting. So far in these cross border love stories we have read the lovers uniting but this book offers something different. The narration is smooth and characters relatable. At places author has offered an in sight into how 2047 will be different from 2020 in many ways. The politicians’ angle and common man’s idea about the differences between the two nations is explored well. The cover is good and the title interesting though initially it looked like a sci-fi stuff to me.
Overall I enjoyed reading this one snd will recommend this to every reader.

2047: The Unifier is a touching story that has been written completely in the future, yet not so distant one. The book begins in the year 2030, when a Pakistani girl gets lost in the lanes of Chandni Chowk, unaware of the fact that border skirmishes have begun and is faced by a group of guys, until she’s saved by the chivalry of one of them. While no numbers were exchanged or names discussed, years later, in a theatre, same pair of eyes meet and recognize each other, leading to an unexpected romance story in 2046 in London. Karan and Fiza decide to get married and this is when things take a turn. Karan’s father, an ex-serviceman is dead against him marrying Fiza and puts a condition that he’ll consent to the wedding if somehow India and Pakistan unite in the 100th year of Indipendence. The plot then traces Karan’s quest to do the impossible and create history. While he gathers friends, he also gathers enemies which put roadblacks on his dream at each step of the way. The plot of the book is interesting with scenes generating curiosity and make you complete the book in a single sitting. The storytelling is fresh and the viewpoint of the author is very hopeful and has a positive effect on the reader. The climax of the book is unexpected and can send shiver down your spine if you are engrossed in the book.

Talking of the characters, while both Fiza and Karan are created as romantics, each of them exhibits a very different personality trait all through the plot. Fiza is shown to be a woman who is fearful and wanted to stay in the shadows. Her reasons might have been valid, but through the story we realise that she never put her love for Karan above anything else. Karan, on the other hand, made his love his mission. Irrespective of what happened, he never broke his promises to Fiza and never became politically aligned. Even in the face of adversity, his strong will never broke. Coming to a third character, Anu is someone who changed the entire plot. Her chance meeting with Karan changed the course of the book and I loved the character arc of this particular one above anything else.

The Unifier

The Story is about two lovers hailing from different countries and trying to be together and solve the tension and create peace between their countries. Karan belonging from India, falls in love with a Pakistani girl Fiza. Starting from the blurb you will get the thrilled and urge to read the book. Reading by the blurb you will also get an idea what the story is about, but it is more then it. The story doesn't only revolves around India Pakistan relationship but contains many more elements which should be known to all. The characters here are very well sketched and the narration is fast paced. Being it a bit lengthy book, still you will remain hooked until the end. I loved authors work from her debut book itself, which I adore the most. And reading it also became more attached to her writing skills. The cover looks good, and the title will make you wander what the story is about. The storyline and the plot is worthy to read. Yes will definitely recommend. And I'm an romance lover, so this one was a great read for me. Because here in you will get the deeper meaning of love and relationships. The hurdles one faces and also the emotions are described profoundly. Karan takes up the task of reuniting India and Pakistan in 2047, which will be the 100th year of partition between the neighbouring and conflicting countries. This idea has been portrayed very well and also it touches elements like politics, caste, religion and many more. So this one overall was an emotional, heartfelt and great read. The other characters mentioned here also had a great role to play in it. And the impact of it last long hopefully.

I remember finishing Ashes to Dreams by Rashmi Trivedi and getting a flutter of a sweet hopeful feeling in my chest. It was about finding hope in hopelessness and even though Unifier is entirely different from that book, if I had to explain what the story is about, I'd use the same phrase. Karan and Fiza are in love with each other, A love that knows no bounds and doesn't care about the standards and prejudices the society has set for them. They love fearlessly and it is this absence of fear that makes them go to lengths that are beyond the societal norms.

Even though, I'm not a huge fan of romance, this one still made me feel intense waves of all kinds of emotions that the characters were going through. Maybe it was the premise, or the possibility of worst fears coming alive or maybe it was simply the way the author has penned down every emotion, that managed to pull me into the story and the book itself.

I wouldn't say that the plot is realistic but realism doesn't work when it comes to fictional novels anyway.

All I have to say is that I think the story and characters are well written. The plot flows smoothly. The political parts were overshadowed by the romance ones too much at points which is my only complaint. I'd have enjoyed it if they were blended in nicely to make the story a perfect mix of all the genres but that's the only flaw I could think of.

I definitely enjoyed this one.

Even years after the independence from British rule the resentment between India and Pakistan still have not resolved. In this book "The Unifier" the author brings up the idea of peaceful union of the two country through a beautiful love story between a Pakistani girl and an Indian boy. When Karan fell head over heels for Fiza, without further delay he planned to propose her for marriage. But everything comes with a price. When he informed his parents about Fiza his father who was a decorated army officer threw him a dare that if he could unify India and Pakistan he will be able to marry Fiza. Will Karan accept this crazy idea ?? An issue that was not solved by so many great politicians, will Karan be able to solve it in the name of love ??

The book is set on future and soon India and Pakistan will be celebrating their 100th independence in the year 2047. So, the book got the name "2047: The Unifier" ,from the concept of unifying the two nations on its 100th independent anniversary. The idea of this book is exceptionally refreshing, positive and unique. The book not only had a love story that leads to unify a nation but it also showed the sections of people who takes advantage of such sensitive issues to gain sympathy and political control over people. Making religion as shield many organisations try to instigate people to choose violence, ending up with nothing but mayhem. There are so many issues waiting to get solved and so politicians making fake promises to solve those never solved problems but at the end everything remains the same ,i.e, Unsolved .I the ending of the book. The writing style is lucid. The cover of the book is deep.

This book was a good read despite being a contemporary romance fiction. Mostly the romance novels have those cliche couples as characters who are blindly in love and do all the dumb blunders in live giving us readers an idea of a fairy tale. This book on the other end is a realistic one, the storyline and plot of the novel discusses about real life problems of a couple.

The guy, Karan is an Indian boy who’s in love with a Pakistani girl and the plot is from the times of India-Pakistan separation. The book talks about how the two never give up on their love and fight to being together the two nations as that was the only way to stay together themselves. But doesn’t it sound too good to be true? But what happens next is what keeps you glued till the end.

The whole separation scenario adds to the thrill In the story and it wouldn’t be wrong to consider this as a non fiction either because there must’ve been so many such couples who got separated during the separation in 1947. The book takes you back to those times and you can well connect with the plot. A beautiful read with simple and lucid language.

The cover I particularly loved because it gives a proper idea of the story and so it completes the book. This one should be in all yours TBR (To be Read)

Relations between India and Pakistan have been complex and largely hostile due to a number of historical and political events. Relations between the two states have been defined by the violent partition of British India in 1947, the Kashmir conflict, and the numerous military conflicts fought between the two nations.

"2047 The Unifier" written by Rashmi Trivedi narrates a tale of love which is suffering due to Political and historic hatredness.
There were few films telecasted on India-Pakistan where two protagonist belonging to different nations come across, fall in love and then fight back to live together.
Initially I too had the same thought, but after reading, I was able to figure out the beauty of this book.

When a rivalry is continued since ages, everyone follow the same path even though it is wrong.
It feels like, we must hate our enemy nation in order to love our nation.
As Pakistan is regarded more as enemy rather than neighbor country due to unethical acts.
When the situations are so tough, when the people are against the idea of love in the same country, can the two protagonist succeed when all odds are against them?

The language is lucid.
The book cover is designed very brilliantly.
The blurb was too gripping just like a story.
We are still living in 2020 and the situations are already worse, what would be the situation when with passing decades, the rivalry gets still worst that it becomes impossible to bring peace?
As we say, Hate is never a solution but Love definitely can cure, this book revolves around the same theme.
Overall it was a Good read.

The story is about Fiza and Karan and their un-bounding love. Karan helps Fiza to escape from a bunch of youngsters. Fiza was on her visit to India and surrounded by some people after a short hearing from her that she belongs to Pakistan. A few minutes meeting with Fiza captured in Karan’s mind and then onwards he was in search of her.

Finally, he met her during a music concert at London, where he was doing his MBA. Later, he came to know that Fiza is having the same feeling about him and the two started seeing each other occasionally. But when they announce their decision about marriage to their families, Karan’s family could not digest the fact that he is going to marry a Pakistani girl. Then they throw out the impossible challenge towards Karan. If he can unite the two nations, his family will agree for their marriage.

Will Karan accept the challenge and win the impossible battle? Please read the book.

Book is quite different than other love stories where two young adults started to attract each other like a wall religion and nationality come between them. Two different countries and among them where not only friendship but also minimum adjustment is not possible there religion also becomes another reason of separation between them with these struggles when distance is created between them there again fate brings them together and story starts there. Book and it's plot is totally unique. How the story is depicted with different colours that is really appreciable and one more thing though it's a romantic genre but this is totally different from regular love stories. Readers will get various different essence here.

The Unifier 2047 is a book set in 2047 as the name suggests . The story shows the future but it is more like a continuation of the past to present to the future . The story showcase a universe a hate . Hate towards towards our neighbours , infact the author has managed to perfectly depict the unreasonably passionate which certain Indian have towards Pakistanis and vise versa.
The book showcase a situation which has a silver lining . A tale of love in the midst of hatred , who knew a simple gesture of kindness could turn into love and overcome unexplainable trials.
The language used by the author is very elegant and chic . The narration flows very smoothly without being burdened by over elaborate description.
Overall I think it was great read.

The impressive cover and a catchy title of this book will urge the readers to pick it up on a lazy day.

Well, over the past few days I was deeply in an emotional ride of two lovers from two different backgrounds that focuses on the mission to unite both India and Pakistan from the heart of people beyond boundaries, not from the politics, here I would like to quote a line of this book "Love still plays on the heartstrings with the same frequency it did hundreds of years ago."

The plot pulls no punches and hits where it hurts. It talks about our superficial understanding of caste, horrific side of politics and the love of humankind, irrespective of country or religions. The idea of this story gives us a shake from the core, framed in a language that is simple and economical.

Its powerful storyline is aided ably by Karan, that character every girl can dream of, and others like Anu, Sooraj, Vivek. But this book is not flawless. In my opinion groaning predictability and unnecessary dragging the plot beyond its requirement are the only problems of this book. Overall, it's absolutely worthy.

This is the second book I've read of Rashmi Trivedi and I loved this even more than the first one. The story focuses on  spreading love and peace among  India and Pakistan. The concept alone is remarkable because I think  it is the wish of every citizen to be  in peace and harmony with the neighbouring countries. This storyline displays elements like love , determination, betrayal and politics precisely. The storyline aroused curiosity and gripped me from the very beginning .The plot is strong and fast paced . The storyline and characters are totally relatable and well built . The characters are sketched in a way that will stay in reader's heart forever. Author has done a excellent job in plotting the story which is engaging and thought provoking also without missing out the message to be delivered.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to everyone.

Review-
🌀 This one is a very different and deep book. It involves the passion of a person to go beyond the borders for love, with the power of love. A must read for all.
.
🌀 The story unveils with an Indian saving a Pakistani Girl during the riots set in 2030 (Humanity is far above any religion, caste, creed, sex, national borders or any other discriminating2047 the Unifier: Sometimes History Needs to Be Revisited to Create History means). Now, later…wayyyy later. After around 16 years the two meet again in London and loves starts budding between them. But as we all know the real struggle is about to begin.
.
🌀I’ll say in very brief avoiding any spoilers Karan’s( the protagonist) father hate Pakistan and Karan want to marry the girl with his father’s blessing. I liked the story after this where the fight is to unite both the nations peacefully (initially it was for the personal gain of Karan but soon it became a deed for the nation).
.
🌀Nobody wants war, hatred, or harm others, we are human beings and what we seek is Love (not hatred), we all seek peace with all our brothers and sisters (and other relatives 😊).
.
🌀 I personally appreciate the author’s way of conveying a message sitting somewhere deep inside everyone’s heart who seek peace and love. It was a treat to read. 👏👏
.
Peace and Love💛

Time and Place setting - 2046 India and London

#Plot - Karan, an Indian had saved a Pakistani girl Fiza during the riots in 2030. 16 years later in 2046 they accidentally meet in London and fall in love. Both are determined to marry each other. But given Karan's father's hate for Pakistan, karan knew this wasn't easy and he didn't want to marry without his father's blessing even though he could. So when he approached his father he was given a condition that if he wants to marry this Pakistani girl he has to unite India and Pakistan by August 2047 ie 100th year of partition and respective independence. Karan thought his father has gone senile but later on took up the challenge. With the help of his friends and few people from an NGO he starts a campaign for spreading peace between two nations. He and his peace campaigns becomes quite famous on social media. He also starts a peace walk from Delhi to Islamabad. He is being called The Unifier. Many political parties were after karan for their own personal gains. But All in all he tries not to make all this political.

Will Karan succeed? Will India and Pakistan ever Unite? Will he able to marry Fiza?

#myreview -2047 The Unifier basically is about bringing peace between India and Pakistan with a love story running side by side. How karan wanted peace first for his personal reason ie love, but later that becomes his very purpose.
The title piqued my interest to read the book. I thought it must be something about war....But it talks mainly of peace and love with politics, drama and whole lot of suspense.
Right from the starting the book is engaging and will keep you hooked till the end. I completed the book in a day.
I love how the author through this book has passed a message that the common people on both sides want love, peace and unity and not war and hate.
Books like this are a must for today's generation.
Recommended for all.

This society that we live in, is plagued with unjust people and their outrageous societal values. I found myself tense as the story unfolded further. The aftermath of partition and ongoing bitterness still brings a fresh wave of headache my way. When Karan falls for a paki girl, whom he met under an unceremonious circumstance, what could possibly be the big deal ? If only things were so easy. If only people would stop letting pride cloud their vision and plague their mind, with thoughts that are tracherous and unpleasant. The story unfolds as it shows light on sooraj as he bids farewell to his papa who died in a blast, gone forever, leaving behind his family, victims of Islamic terror. Meanwhile, Karan and fiza are so in love and Karan go ahead, tells his family of his love interest, which indeed makes them deeply worried. But Kiran will stop at nothing and undertakes a ' mission ' His dream, which has taken life in the form of a mission will have all of us thinking. But at what cost ? What would be the mighty price to pray ? I for one believe, everything comes with a price tag. There is a huge price to pay and are we ready to face what awaits us ? The probability of shouldering the pain and the enormous need to have a strong, unfaltering resolve to see make our visions comes true ? Like I said, there is a cost to pay. Would this be the ultimate end to the long existing enemity ? We have learnt the hard way how religion has taken it's hold on people and how savage people could be. No trace of conscience. Not an ounce of scruple. With a detailed plan and endless discussions, can the two nation's unite ? Will his dream come true ? Find the story to know the rest. Narration was good. And I’m gonna state this beforehand, this one is not for the faint hearted.
Remember ' we are against war but defence is our right'

☮2047 The Unifier☮
Author: Rashmi Trivedi
Publication: HHesten
Price:150
Pages:256
--------------------------------------------------------
☮Background--
The idea of reuniting the two enemy nation which would one sound bizarre and dumb to the world; but the roots of loss and revenge are so deep ?? that it seems completely impossible??. But as Nelson Mandela said that every impossible has "I am possible" and every great idea starts with peoples judging you and laugh.
Karan who is a male protagonist is planning to dig in with an idea of "Peace to be one" for his love Fiza who is Pakistani; his father has put this condition if he wants to marry her; he is aware that the people want peace and the politics is the reason for this enmity.
On the other hand "Chhabua Muzaffarnagar district; UP" has faced horrors because  Muslim man has killed 10 people from Hindu family because of personal reason but politicians and newspaper are colouring the incident making it a communal issue.
Karan is getting radar of big politician and their career. Threats have been passed but courage is still acting has a hope; But how long???
Will Karan will be able to get what he intends to? or he shall put his sword of hope down?
Is really hate stronger than love?? is roots of history stronger than hopes of future?? Stands the real question.

⭕A very balanced book with "Damn good imagination"
⭕the storyline; Plot is worth but something is missing; I felt little stretch because the author has tried "Get it all" and somewhere around the line author is forgetting the time.
⭕The characters and language is also good
⭕I like how the author has put each and every idea giving a clear picture to its reader
⭕I will recommend this book to beginner who wants to start reading with something new.And Indian and Pakistani reader who hopes.

🏷Inside book
It's beautiful tale of two characters fiza & karan. At their very first acquaintance they felt sparkling connection between them. Which wasn't flourished at that time because of circumstances but it's like universe trying some conspiracy to pull them together. They meet once again this time they decides to deny what society thinks & fight for their love...
This is story of hope, love & romance filled with enthusiasm...
Narration is very simple yet elegant. It's not like we haven't seen this before but detailed narration pushes & give readers time to think & corelate with todays World
.
.
My thoughts after reading book:
🏷People like to watch love stories in bollywood movies on big screens they like to read it in novels & books, but when it happens in real life people tends to look at it with disgust. Don't know why but this is pretty much real condition of lover in rural & suburban i.e. more than half of India not to consider about two seperate countries. People are ready to kill each others just by intercast marriage. World still not ready to see two people as a lovers until & unless they have same cast, same culture, same religion, & different gender. It's wrong in their view just cause its against their egoishly traditional mindset.
.
🏷New generation wants to try at least two 3 yr live-in before marriage. They wants freedom from your narrow minded judgemental thinking. Just cause you didn't had a choice that doesn't means you can take it away from others...
.
.
🏷Overall its good read considering cover, plot, idea of the book, narration.
Recommended to readers of all age for new perspective on the issue.

All is fair in love and war, and this certainly is a war for love.

Engaging and encapsulated in a constant theme, Rashmi Trivedi's 2047 : The Unifier, is a political prodigy, existing within a romantic venture.

The story line has a gripping narrative that is bound to be an absolute page turner.

Modelled after the spirit of youth revolution, to transform the worldviews , the actual plot begins in an old coffee shop that was founded back in 1942. It is a place that remains as a historical symbol throughout the book, not just as a tribute to the Quit India Movement but also to the established characters and their motives.

The author has done some great work to showcase the honest brutality of paparazi and politicians to remodel a situation to cater to their own desires. From violence to manipulation, immoral people are ready to take whatever action is necessary to protect their operations.

But the true captivation comes from the reality of the 'fictional' storyline.Although inexcusable, there are valid concerns from the side of the antagonist that only add on to the complexity of the narrative.

The story challenges the public's viewpoint to remain apolitical in a world where perception is everything. It also issues a surprising discussion pitting Patriotism against Nationalism.

While the novel may begin solely as a romance story between Karan and Fiza, fate is stranger than that and weaves their destiny to influence the lives of the generations to come.

As the story comes to an end, the sincere kink in the side is the undeserved victory of the antagonist, and the acquitted consequences of their unscrupulous actions. And while it is apprehensive to read such betrayal, it unfortunately prevails to be inevitable.

Sometimes history needs to be revisited to create history from the title and subtitles anyone can understand the theme of the novel that is to unite something from the history .

The cover of the will give you the reflection of two countries border which is very deep and emotional .

The story puts you in a situation where some questions arises in your mind that is will the countries ever unite ?? How can love between two people can become the bridge between two country ?? Will the situation improve or become more worse ?? All these questions will be answered slowly in the story which builts different feelings inside you to judge this book .

My Review - I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book from the starting . Everyone likes to know about their future so when you grab a book which tells you about the future I'm sure you will definitely likes it . In 2047 India and Pakistan will celebrate their 100th independence isn't it sounds interesting that on that day they again get united .
I'm sure it must excites you to read the whole story . Future description of technology , situation and human feelings is very well presented in the book .
The story not run away from the reality , there is some group of people who take advantage on the basis of their religion and practice non violence and the politician just care for their vote banks then how the situation will improve ??
The book has very innovative ideas to solve this problem where Karan and Fiza will try to solve this by practicing love and peace but it is enough or it remains unsolved ??

Try to find out the answer of these questions and everyone must give it a read . I'm sure you will enjoy reading this .

2047 : The Unifier by Rashmi Trivedi, is an awe inspiring tale of eternal love, plagued with numerous twists and turns. It is the story of Karan and Fiza who get entangled in the strings of fate and are dragged into a political scenario that costs them heavily in the end.

Fiza is the adopted daughter of the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan. She is a curious young girl when she first visits India and during an unsupervised outing manages to get herself in trouble.

Karan is an Indian boy, the son of a decorated war hero who fought against Pakistan in the war of 2028. It is during the Hindu-Muslim riots of 2030 that Karan finds the young Fiza and helps her reach safety only to lose her for the years to come.

Eventually they meet again in London and sparks fly. They dub their meeting as a work of fate and realise that they were always meant to end up together.

But Karan's father puts a condition on his approval for the two souls to unite. Yet unlike many, their love is not blind to the views of the world. Rather it seeks to transform them. And consequently this challenge starts a chain of events that sets forth true change in the countries of Pakistan and India.

The plot of the story is very impactful. While there are sparse details mentioned about the Earth in 2047, the vagueness of the outside world only prompts more attention towards the main storyline and assists in inculcating the crux of the novel.

It is a story of love, life, betrayal and aspirations, all combined to form a truly stimulating narrative that drives home the point that peace remains to be a fleeting hope in this broken world of chaos and destruction.

The protagonists, Fiza, a Pakistani girl and Karan, an Indian boy both fell for each other. Karan told his family about his love, but his father agreed on the condition that if he would unite both the nations. Will he be successful in uniting the Nations? Will he and Fiza be able to marry each other? You have to read the story for the answers.
One can ever imagine the hardships of love they underwent, the way the author has weaved the story. Love has no boundaries, no standards. It is fearless. The aftermath of partition is portrayed well and it's quite disturbing to imagine so.
° There is intense flow of emotions.
° The characters are presented well.
° Love the blend of few genres, the author presented.
°The cover is pretty matte finish and elegant.
.
Overall, the author's work is appreciable.

2047: The Unifier By Rashmi Trivedi(@rashmitrivedi21 )

Genre:-Fiction

Rating:-🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/🌟🌟🌟🌟

Blurb:-"A GAME PLAN THAT WILL CREATE HISTORY!
They say that love has the power to move mountains, but does it have the power to unite two warring nations?
In 1947, the British put a knife through India’s heart when they created two nations, India and Pakistan; two nations that now have a history of war, mistrust and hatred.
An apolitical book that has politics, drama, love, crime, excitement, suspense and at the end, leaves the reader with a nagging question in the mind — is it possible? "

My review:- I had skipped my sleep for this amazing book. The cover was also amazing!

My first book of Rashmi’s is From Ashes to dreams. Usually, her book would be all about hope. So I was quite sceptical before giving this a read. This is all about attempting an impossible thing to work, where many wars and battles are tending in the long term. But the author made an absolute attempt to draw a beautiful picture to lessen the distance between “What if” and “How’d it be” through this. This book is both thrilling and apolitical.

So the Story starts at the note of a Pakistani girl gets lost in the streets of India in 2030, the near future. Karan, 16-year-old boy came for her rescue. In 2046, Karan and Fiza meet in London unexpectedly and fall in love with each other. When they intend to marry, Karan’s father lays a condition that only if two countries are gets united by August 2047. Thus Karan and Fiza attempt to bring peace and works for the unification, organising campaigns. Will they achieve what did they strive for? Did two countries make peace and united regardless of the political parties stand? Read this book to know more.

Coming to the plot, a beautiful narration did complete justice to the story. Upon drawing the Protagonist’s journey towards bringing Love and Peace between two nations, the author has narrated the perfect blend of the political, drama and zero war scene, story. Which is what made this book earns a brownie point. The characters are very well portrayed, given the inherent complexity of the premise, overseeing the political gains. The Writing style and the variety of characters presented the readers the loyal and brave.
