This is a sweet and wholesome sport romance that will keep you interested till the end. The characters fit well together and the plot was well written. This is my first book from this author and I will be on the lookout for more. I enjoyed this book.

This was a really good sweet romance the plot was good and quickly pulled me in I really liked both Brooke and Billy they were good likable real characters and I enjoyed getting to know them. This is the second book in the series but can be read on its own I liked it and will be checking out the rest of the series.
Enjoyed this sweet sports romance with high school friends Brooke and Billy. They shared one unforgettable kiss at the end of high school and ten years later they meet again when he swooped in and purchased the winery she was about to buy. Loved their interactions and the way she denied her feelings for him until she could no longer hide the truth even from herself. Wonderful read.
The book is a good romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable wholesome, and sweet sports romance read.

This was a great addition to the series and I enjoyed reading it. While this is the second book of the series, you should be able to read it without getting confused if you didn’t read the first one. I read a later book first and became intrigued with the series, town and the residents.
Billy Turlock is coming back home to Starlight. He is a newly retired MLB pitcher who has to retire early due to the multiple injures and surgeries on his pitching arm. His grandfather, “Pop”, has a “secret recipe” for making wine. Since Billy LOVES his family, he buys a defunct vineyard in the area of his hometown for his grandfather but neither know how to run a vineyard!
Brooke Miller works for a local vineyard. She has been secretly dating her boss. She isn’t the marrying kind and fears that her boss may propose to her during the party that the vineyard is throwing. He has been promising her a promotion to VP of Sales and she is looking forward to that motion. Unfortunately for Brooke, George the vineyard’s owner, proposed to Brooke’s young protégé! Brooke is livid, she has a drink too many and makes a scene at the party. Now she is looking for a job. She decides to purchase the defunct vineyard just outside of town. That is, until the “golden” boy of baseball comes home and buys it out from under her!
The story is one that I loved reading. There is a spicier version out there but sometimes you just need a pure romance story without the sexy scenes.
I would recommend this to anyone. It was also written in my favorite dual POV format. This helped to fully understand the characters.
Sweet clean romances are my jam. I really like this one as the characters were delightful and the plot was easy to follow. I have read a couple of books by this author and I really enjoyed them.
The first 50 ish pages I was bored and I thought I would never get through it. I am glad I kept going. At one point I was slightly mad at Brooke (he did go quite fast) but they eventually figure it out and it all works out in the end. It did have about 5 curse words which was different than the first book.
I didn't realize that I had this book in my kindle tbr mountain when I read another book in this series. They can all be read as a stand alone and are clean Romance. So if you are looking for personal growth, romance, and a clean storyline this is for you.
I loved reading this story! This was such a sweet romance and of course I love a great ending. I think everyone enjoys a sweet romance every once in a while, I think everyone that reads this story will like it as much as I do.
Bailed as soon as I saw this book was altered to make it “clean and wholesome…” For fuck’s sake, why didn’t you include that on the blurb and save me the download! 🤨
