Down To The Last Sip 2: Hennessy and Miami
Bad luck seemed to be the only thing Hennessy could count on to be consistent in her life. With Miami serving a bid and her recovering from a traumatic loss she feels lost, weak and flat out hopeless. Vulnerable, she allows Dre to manipulate her into doing the unthinkable unaware that he has malicious intent of his own. Popping pills becomes her clutch, most days she doesn’t know if she’s coming or going, that is until she meets Fabian. Immediately she becomes smitten with him even though he was only supposed to be a viable part of Dre’s plan. Miami becomes the man behind prison walls. After almost losing his life in prison and finding out about Hennessy’s betrayal he has a new mind set. Hurt by Hennessy’s indiscretions, he cuts off all contact with her. He’s put in position to become a boss on the streets, but before he can come home he has to complete a few tasks. In my feelings.
Hennessy is so freaking gullible! She man she got on my nerves so bad!!!!!!! Lucinda I don’t even want to know what happens next cause she just doesn’t get it. I’m gonna read it but I’m so mad at her. I really wish she could see how much of a fool Dre made out of her. Nothing he ever did was for her. He has to be one of my most hated characters in a book. Good job!

Let me just say Hennessy piss me off the whole book. Like why you can’t tell the truth to save your own life Dre and they damn pills had her ass so gone that it’s crazy. I’m mad she let Fabian ass die. Two fine niggas and she let the sex and drugs get the best of her. FYI this book had my nerves on edge. Got me feeling like I’m doing something wrong or like I’m Hennessy lmao

Just Gets better and better!!!!!!!!!
Miami gets 30yrs and Hennessy loses it! Devastated, weak and depressed more Percocet or whatever Dre can give her she’s gone! Dre pays Miami a visit in jail and now he’s done with her. Hennessy at her lowest does not know who shot Miami and South but now fighting for survival, she’s out with Dre doing the D-Boys dirty! She done lost her and Miami’s baby so it’s own. Hard times and she got skills but does knot believe in herself. Miami makes a deal with the Boss who guarantees he will be out of jail within a year. The Boss is Rhea’s stepfather? Small world. As Miami bosses up from prison, Dre persuades Hennessy to set up Fabian. Unbeknownst yo her this is Miami’s supplier. Falling in love is not part of the game but it happens. Dre is dirty, Finally gets to Fabian and pregnant, alone again Hennessy cannot process being a mom. Nookie her bff is also pregnant, dating Freddy, Fabian’s right hand/brother. Nookie is also pregnant, but did not know Freddy was also dating their old friend from s hook Deja? No one terminates their pregnancy, Miami’s out of prison, hanging with Rhea and the Boss wants his payment. Dre’s life, his boy and Hennessy. When he see’s his first ❤️ she is in a crack house, beaten, raped and cracked out. I pray he can remember the lost little girl and not kill her but we all have to see in part 3!!!!

Her life was already over
This is a five star character development and well written book. I hated this book as it continues to tell of how distressed and disturbed Hennessey entire life was. Never has anyone repeatedly lost themselves and everyone that meant anything to them more than this girl. This author has exceeded in ripping the life away from this character. My heart wouldn't let me stop reading because every time she ignored Dre he'd pop back up with more lies and she believe him. The unrealistic way Miami took Dre word just sealed it for me that there relationship was dead, but why not give her something in life with Fabian? No not good enough for him either. Her life was already over when she was gullible enough to trust Dre again by betraying her man. Trusting his made up story to revenge Miami. The alley sealed her fate, the loss of her friend sealed her fate, walking away from her flesh and blood sealed her fate, ending up at her mother's crack location sealed her fate!! Death would be a vacation for the life she's lived and the hand fate dealt her. Emptying a clip into her at this point is easier than her survival. Once again I hated the book for her life but it's a reality of someone's true story some where that I'd never want to know of. Just sad and I'm still smh. Book 3 will not be for me. I can't take anymore!!

Good read
I hated this ending! This is why I don't like installment books because it ended on a cliffhanger indicating that another installment was coming. I am so in to this book that I'm angry at what happened to the main female character. There was no justice for her, she did deserve what happened to. I'm not sure I will want to read the next part. However, the writer really drew me in but left me upset and angry with her end. This story left me so sad that I feel like crying. Good writing job Lucinda you did your thing.

Drama drama drama
It was a good read, I gave it a four because I was SOOOO TIRED of Henny being dumb and gullible. She had TWO good men and allowed ONE fuck boy to mess up both of her relationships. Although she was beautiful on the outside she had very low self esteem. I loved her with Fabian, BUT I ADORE her and Miami. I hope he kills Boss and Rea! Henny needs to get herself together. I hate she was raped and played by Dre. I’m happy his ass is finally dead.

Damn That ending in part 2 left me wondering wtf is gonna happened. I hate that she was so damn naive. Dre use her ass to the fullest. I loved her and Fabian together but I can’t help but feel that it should be her & Miami together. She messed up royalty but she didn’t deserve to be raped. I hope in part 3 she gets it together and find herself love herself and go back for her son. Her son is her third chance at life and love. I don’t like Rea for some reason. I do not want him with her. I don’t want to see Miami end up with her. Him and Hennessy needs to be together.

Hennessy needs to be treated that way. She let Dre get in her head and caused two great men to love her. Fabian was a good person and she her well. Miami is just hardcore but has a soft spot for Hennessy. I pray he aired out the warehouse and got his heart to safety.

I had so much hope for her and Miami but then her skeletons came falling out and it was a wrap. But when Fabian came in the picture the connection between them was out of this world but she had to fu@ked that up too!!!

Lucinda on one for this one....I wasnt quite into the first one a whole lot cause I couldnt tell where it was going.....but reading this one got my mind blown.....Only reason I gave this one 4 stars is because of the grammar errors....ots certain authors I'm not used to having those and Lucinda is one of em but its still a bomb read though.
