A twisty, pulse-pounding thrill ride that had me on a roller coaster of feels!! Both of them put up their walls, slowly melt them away, and just like that....BOOM!!! Now we wait to see what happens next!!
Both pulled apart by the families, brought together by a possible common enemy, meanwhile figuring out what exactly they feel for each other. Loved the prequel, the first part of the duet, the cliffy left my jaw on the floor, and loving the originality of best friends to enemies to possible lovers mafia bully romance!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review and cannot wait for more!!

Puppet is book one in the Ridgeview Prep Series. There's a prequel, Prick, that can be read first but it doesn't have to be read to enjoy this one. Charlotte and Xander have know each other for a while. Charlotte was sent away to school for a year an now she's back. I really didn't understand why Xander and Charlotte went from loving each other to really angry at each other when they were separated by things beyond their control. They may try to be mad at each other but deep down they still like each other. Xander definitely has being a jerk down pat but we do get a glimpse of him being nice every once in a while. Charlotte is a good character too. She tries to be strong but really everyone is making decisions for her and it's hard for her. The ending is a cliffhanger but I was already hooked and can't wait to read more.

WHY Londyn WHY!!!! How soon until I get my hands on Princess! Holy Hell woman you know how to leave me hanging. In this book nothing really is as it seems. I am really at a loss as to what to say in this review. What I will do is sit here and tell you how incredibly fabulous this storyline is. There is so much happening at once that will leave your head spinning. Believe this is not a bad thing it just means that this book is fast paced and a definite page turner.
So much has changed since Charlotte left, and yet some things have stayed the same. As you can guess Xander and Charlotte have their own issues to work through on top of the issues they have with each other. I am really rooting for them even if outside forces are trying to make it damn near impossible. I would love to sit here and tell you everything that is awesome about this book, but if I do that I am afraid I will spoil it for you. I'm telling you if you have read Prick that is just a teaser at what happens in Puppet. Dark, gritty, & angsty doesn't even fully describe this work of art.....

This is the first book in the Ridgview Prep series, and the continuation of Xander, and Charlotte's story, who we first meet in, Prick, the prequel to Puppet. Xander, and Charlotte were once friends, but when Charlotte left Xander, that changed, now enemies, Charlotte has returned, and Xander doesn't have plans for a warm welcome. This was a great read, the characters are well written, and their story kept me glued to the pages. This was dark, intense, twisted, suspenseful, dramatic, steamy, and emotional. Can't wait for the next book!

I’d say more 3.5 stars but I bumped it up cause I’m a sucker for a bully romance. This one had some hiccups along the way but I’m still moving on to book two. I need to know what’s going to happen. I may do some skimming if things start to bore me.. who knows.

I can't believe I actually finished this book. The whole entire time all you read is 'Waaaaa she left me here and I hate her she is nothing to me now' and 'waaaaaa I told him I loved him before I left and he didn't fight for me'. It's just repetitive and they barely come in contact with one another until almost towards the end. There is one love scene and you know this girl can not read just one love scene. For heaven's sake, he could have at least touched her. But nope, he's to busy being dragged around by his older brother while Charlotte has daddy issues. I have no desire to read the second one. Charlotte and Xander have no chemistry to them. I didn't root for their relationship because THERE WAS BARELY A RELATIONSHIP TO ROOT FOR!

It wasn't as dark as what I was expecting and I am not sure where the bullying is..
The relationship between Xander and Charlotte is immature and all over the place.
The storyline was pretty average but it ended with an interesting cliffhanger. I have to be honest and say that the ending was probably the most riveting part so I am hoping that book 2 is better.

Puppet (Ridgeview Prep #1) picks right back up where the pequel, Prick, leaves off. Gritty, a touch dark, and all the angst this trope comes with plus Londyn Quinn’s fantastic writing and I was so here for it!
Gah, I love this series! Seriously. High School bully romance isn’t usually my jam, but Londyn Quinn just does it so well! I do, however, love a good a-hole hero and Xander is so bad he’s delicious. Even better than Xander is the heroine, Charlotte. The girl gets knocked down, but right back up she goes. I love her fire! And when it came to fire nothing was hotter than Xander and Charlotte’s chemistry. These two charged every page and made it sizzle with their love-hate relationship. Add to that a fast-paced storyline, plot twists, elements of suspense, and I was turning pages at the speed of light! Just get ready for a major cliffhanger that will leave you salivating for the next book! 5 stars!!

From the start this story will grab onto you and not let go as Charlotte and Xander who were once friends are now bitter enemy's. Charlotte has come back home to finish her Senior yr at Ridgeview Prep after being gone for over a year and a half abroad and not everybody is happy she's back, because as she and Xander cross paths at school it seems as if it's his life mission to make her life a living hell for picking her parents over him and he's going to get even with daddy Hawthorne for taking her away from him until they both realize someone is trying to hurt her. You can feel the love and hate these 2 fight against for each other and once you start you won't want to stop reading it. This is just book 1 and I can't wait to get my hand's on the next to find out what happens next.

I am usually not a bully romance reader, however Londyn Quinn gives us a unique tale that has some interesting twists that keep you on your toes. There is the epic angst of teenage drama thrown in with whatever is going on with the families on top of that. I mean, I remember not being that bad but this is almost an accurate take on teens this day and age, which I can get away with because I have a 15 year old daughter and the drama is never ending. Aside from the draw that Charlotte and Xander have, they are literally oil and water at times. But things start happening and they are thrown together more. I loved that suspense was twisted into it which leaves you wondering and guessing what will be coming. Then the ending?? Can I please have the next book? Stat?????

Wow...I must admit I've had this on my kindle for quite some time and never got round to reading it.....why? I have no idea but now I'm kicking myself for waiting this long! This was so good!!
Loved the angst between Char and Xander, so much chemistry, so much darkness!! The plot was exceptional, so much detail and written really well

Can’t wait for what’s to come!
The writing is great and story kept me very interested (that’s the quickest I’ve finished a book in a while), but the whole it’s only been 1 year since she left and came back is driving me insane. They talk and act as though she’s been gone for years and that just drove me crazy. I’ve tried saying 5 years in my head, but they reference the amount of time so often that it’s annoying. Anyways, I can’t wait to dive into the next book

It’s an engaging story where the characters battle their inner feelings with what is asked of them by their families. Xander comes from a corrupt and illegal world and Char comes from Old Money. They love each other but because of where they come from cannot be together. I have some issues with Xander, he blames her for something that she has no say in, I mean come on dude! She is obviously not going to opposed to what her dad says, she is under age and has an abusive father, Xander’s ego is all bruised and takes it upon Char, hope she grows more backbone in the next book.
Can’t wait for the next installment...

Best one of the series so far
From the beginning to end I was in this book. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I do love the love and hate relationship Xander and Charlotte have and I can't wait to figure out what Daddy Hawthrone is up to. Finally that cliff hanger!! Can't wait!!

I wasn't sure of this at the beginning but stuck to it as it felt a little whiney, but I'm glad I stuck it out as it felt like the story fell into place by the end.
Puppet is a story on growth, hard decisions and rebellion against everything you know. I'm.looking forward to seeing how Xavier and Charlotte's story grows and I have a few inkling as to what's happening and whya

A thrilling page turner with an ending that leaves you wanting more. Xander and Charlotte's story is a messy web of love and hate, that sucks you in and doesn't let go. From the first to the last page it's a rollercoaster of emotions and I can't wait to see how it all plays out!!

WOW what a amazing roller coaster of a ride this book was... This is book 1 (technically Prick the novella needs to be read prior) - This book picks up where the novella ends.. Xander and Charlotte's story is full of love and hate.. push and pull.. and then that ending leaves you thinking WTF!! Amazing job!! I cant wait for the next book.. I need it NOW.. LOL

After reading Prick I was so looking forward to reading Puppet. Oh my dayz I absolutely loved this story.
These characters....gah. They are amazing and I felt as if they were driving me mad.
That ending had me shouting at my kindle and I really hope we don’t have to wait too long for more.

Oh my god! I love bully romance. And this was a mafia bully romance! It was so good! I already had my suspicions about dear old dad and that ending totally confirmed it! Great story, cant wait for the next book!

Emotional roller coaster!!
This is a well written flawless story which is emotional and thrilling throughout. I was intrigued and hooked throughout and I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend for all.
