Herobrine, the artificially intelligent virus intent on escaping Minecraft and infecting the Internet with his evil, was captured after an epic showdown on the shores of Minecraft. Gameknight999, having trapped the virus in an unlikely prison, saved the lives of his friends in the game and was finally able to return to the physical world. Everyone thought the Last Battle was over and Minecraft was safe . . . but they were wrong. The powerful evil held within Herobrine's prison is leaking out into the fabric of Minecraft and attacking Crafter, the most sensitive NPC on the server and Gameknight999's best friend. With Crafter's life in jeopardy, Gameknight999 and his father, a Minecraft noob, have no choice but to return to the game again. As they journey to The End to destroy Herobrine, Gameknight and his friends will face two of Herobrine's most hated creations: the zombie-king, Xa-Tul, and the king of the endermen, Feyd. With Crafter's life hanging by a thread, Gameknight999 must find a way to thwart Herobrine's plans before the virus's poison kills his best friend.

I really liked this book because it was very exciting from the beginning to the end. Part of that came from the new exciting concept of Herobrine reborn. The only parts I didn't like was when everyone almost died.
I enjoyed this book because I love MINECRAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Gamenight999 dropped Herobrine into the void. I didn't like this book because I didn't like the part when Herobrine was reborn.
this book is awsome1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My seven-year-old wanted to give it five stars. As long as my kids are still interested in this series I'll keep reading to them.
Capturing the evil Herobrine in the last book wasn't good enough so the heroes have to try something else, which involves going to The End...again. I realize there aren't that many different places to go in Minecraft, but they could have, I don't know, needed to find a different way to get there or done something else once they got there besides describe how to defeat the ender dragon in tedious detail again. The repetitiveness of this series is starting to get to me.
This time Gameknight had his dad with him instead of his sister, I guess that was sort of different.
I wish i was as skilled as Gameknight99. This book brings exciment to the Minecraft player out there with me included. The beginning and the end the end was both written really and as while i was reading the book i could feel my heart race from the zombie chases, skeleton attacts and from scenes of fighting the other monsters. I would recommend this book to all but i think reader should play the game to truly understand the whole story.
My 8 year old begged me to read this... He is so in love with Minecraft anything, and these Gamerknight999 series in particular. I can't claim to have enjoyed it any more than I expected to. It is not quality writing, and not even very imaginative. But - they keep this boy reading, while he's usually reluctant to, so... points for that.
I really like Minecraft and I play it at home and to read a book about it is very cool. I think that to have a story line and characters is very cool and it adds a lot of cool things into the game. and I think that this book is very good and it has a really cool storyline and in my opinion this book is for people who like Minecraft and have the game or just think the book is cool.
As a kid, this book brought me so, so much emotion, and I think this was the point where I truly got invested into reading. 5/5 Stars - will always hold a special place in my heart, thanks for the childhood memories
Much like the previous Gameknight999 books, but with the addition of the protagonist's father to the adventure. Still has the same mildly melodramatic dialog and exposition. The father's role as the protective, yet bumbling about in a world where his son is the expert/hero/master, feels like a bit of an easy trope. But Cheverton is still cranking out the best Minecraft novelizations out there. If you (or more likely, your child) liked the previous books, this one won't disappoint.
