On stage, Adam lets his passion drive him. All his secret desires, everything nasty, dirty, and beautiful flows freely through him, for once in harmony. His soul thrives when his body moves, but only on stage. Adam’s passionate nature makes him a great dancer…and a failure at life. He’s a lonely, emotional mess. Going home with a man far out of his reach is the last thing Adam should do. Christoffer represents everything Adam isn’t: strong, independent, educated, and rich. His kind eyes, at odds with his brutish form, make Adam's knees and restraint buckle.

Once Christoffer sees Adam dancing, he’s lost. The young man is mesmerizing, otherworldly, and unpredictable. Whatever might happen between them, it will be transient, and Christoffer will most likely get hurt. The temptation is too great, however, and the sex explosive. He might as well enjoy every moment he’s given, even if it’s just one day, maybe two. If Christoffer treads carefully, Adam might stay until Monday.

Ladies and gentlemen, clear your schedule, get somewhere private (TRUST ME), and dig in, because once you start reading Adam Only, you are NOT going to want to do anything else.

I loved, loved, loved this book. I loved it. I read it in public (my bad), but it was pure, erotic poetry. I finished it in less than a day... and I could have read 100 pages more and been happy.

If you enjoyed the style of The Other Book, then you will enjoy this one. I even liked it a little better, to be honest, because this one had a monogamous pairing (well, at least during the context of the story).

Roe Horvat really ticked all my boxes. It was my age gap, size difference (in eeeeeevery way, *wink, wink*), loving, kinky fantasy come to life. It was raw sensuality on page.

The story manages to about mostly sex and mostly romance at the same time. How?! I'm serious, how does Roe Horvat manage such a feat in a novella format?! Most novellas struggle to establish any sort of connection, yet I was literally clutching my heart reading this one.

Sexy (seriously, don't read this if you don't like EXPLICIT sex), very mildly kinky, atmospheric, and damn near perfect, Roe Horvat delivers in a HUGE way with this one. It's a no-brainer one-click, and a guaranteed winner.

He'd found a treasure. And he was losing his mind.

If you read the first The Other Book then surely you remember Christoffer and Adam, Tyler's friends who occasionally like to play with others. Adam, especially, stole every scene he was in, and this story is all about Adam: Adam the one and only.

If you haven't read The Other Book (and why the hell not?), then read Adam's story first because it comes first.

Adam Only is about how Adam and Christoffer met (at a party), how Adam ran (because he didn't want to be discarded), and how he stayed (because he trusted Christoffer to keep him).

Getting to know Adam—his boundless sexual energy, his streak of exhibitionism, his desire to be kept yet free, bound yet safe—and Christoffer—steady, kind, loyal, a man who just wants his boy to be happy—makes the connection we first witnessed between them that much more meaningful.

Roe Horvat is fucking brilliant in the way he explores power dynamics between the men.

This book proves that erotica can be:

- romantic
- deeply sensual
- character-driven
- well written
- As HOT as, if not hotter than, porn (because there's nothing sexier than creating images in your own mind)

If you prefer slower burn stories, this isn't the book for you. The sex here is explosive, all consuming, and so damn tender, I wanted to weep. Yes, sex can be dirty AND sweet!

One word of warning: this story is not safe for work. I repeat: do not read in the office; do not read at the coffee shop; read in the privacy of your own home. Because holy fucking scorcher, batman.

All the stars for this book!

When Adam appeared on the podium,it was Adam only.

Roe Horvat can do sweet and sexy with books like Vanilla Clouds and then you have this. This book is very erotic,I mean seriously erotic. There's a lot of sex here but it's important to the story.I didn't realize it was about Adam and Christoffer from The Other Book.....remember that hot threesome ?? While it was great to get the story of how an established couple met here I would say this could be read on it's own but you'd be missing out not reading The Other Book-Tyler is one of my favourite characters from this Author.

Christoffer is mesmerized when he sees Adam dancing at a party one night. The pull is instant, all consuming...a moth to a flame in a way.

"You found me," he said

-Adam to Christoffer

And that quote ,those three words moved me so much.Because,as cheesy as it sounds, these two really did find each other.

Adam oozes sexuality and confidence when he's dancing but behind the mask he's frightened of rejection and not being enough.Christoffer offers him so much, not just sexually -he wants to take care of Adam and my heart might have melted a little bit at how gentle he was with Adam at times.

He wanted to be owned without being shackled. He craved to be used without being punished. He needed a master, but he needed to feel free. He would lie down at his man’s feet if he could be sure he wouldn’t get stepped on.

I adored reading how these two met and fell in love. The writing is beautiful,as always.

Recommended read.

Story - 2.5 stars

Oi! I really wanted this to be 5 stars but it just wasn't for me.

This is a case of it's me, not the book.

description

I loved Adam and Chris when they appeared in book 1. I was looking forward to their story, but when this happened, it ended up being sex, sex, sex, sex, and more sex. I do understand that this is erotica, and i love me some sex, at the beginning it was hot then it became too much.

I ended up zoning out sometimes and didn't feel the connection between Adam and Chris outside the sex crazed zone they were in and when i blinked John Solo was saying Epilogue, and i was like!!

description

Overall, it was okay until it wasn't.

Totally me not the book.

I'm stranded on a desert island and I can pick one author to spoil me with books for the rest of my days....hope you like surf and sand Roe, you're coming with me!
I knew it from the very beginning, stuck in an airport.
Yet, I can't begin to tell you how grateful and awestruck I am every time.
Horvat's stories are precious.
They are a gift. And Adam Only was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday weekend.

This erotic masterpiece is more than intimate revelations.
It's far beyond burning desires.
What is it then?
A collision of flesh brings two souls together and their hearts fuse.
I feel fortunate to witness such a breathtaking moment.
I can taste the hope. Feel the love. With any luck, you will too.

What's to like: I LOVED the first book in this series. It was my favorite book of the year until now. Today I find myself hesitating to declare a favorite, so I think I’ll just go with my new favorite of the year is a series. I’m usually rigid with sticking to reading books in proper order. That’s my OCD showing. However, you could read either of the books in “Those Other Books” first without consequence. Yes, this book takes place prior to the first book. Yes, we know what happens by default. No, it doesn’t matter in the slightest. If you’ve had the great pleasure of experiencing “The Other Book” then you are familiar with Adam and Christoffer. We know they are blissfully together. But we don’t know how that came to be…until now. Their paths crossed at a party. Christoffer was instantly enamored by Adam. Adam dances with abandonment. For when he’s performing, he can almost let himself be free. Freedom and security are foreign to him. He’s made mistakes before and this time he’s going to guard his heart. But what if this is who his heart has been searching for? Everything about C feels right. Can he trust the big man? Can he trust himself? Ohhhh! I wanna tell you everything! *bites lip* But I won’t.

What's to love: Roe captures the wonder and beauty of love at first sight. Do you believe? I do. But I can guarantee that if I was a non-believer before, I would fall victim to Horvat’s magic. He writes with purpose and powerful emotions radiate from the pages. Frequently a combo of two or three words stopped me in my tracks. Demanding my utmost attention.
“You found me,”
My skin broke out in goosebumps. He hadn’t been waiting just a little while but his whole life for this moment.
“Can I?"
Christoffer could easily take what he wanted. Adam would have given him just about anything. The fact that he asked meant everything.
“Don’t apologize. Stay.”
Not for now but forever.
Ooommmgggg. Excuse me while I squee. See what I mean? There is SO much to love. All of it. I loved all of it. I think I need to revisit Tyler’s book now. Then I’ll return for another dose of this sensational story.

Beware of: Exquisite writing will take your breath away. Concentrated pages pack a powerful punch. And sex may dominate but the tenderness is far more seductive. I almost forgot, there’s a bit of an age gap between Adam and Christoffer. Trivial detail if you ask me.

This book is for: You, you, and you…yep, everyone needs to watch these souls dance. And like I said, don’t stress if you haven’t read the first…yet. Just buy both. They are worth it. Promise.

Told in dual POV, 3rd person, it’s the second installment in the "Those Other Books" series but it can be read as a standalone. It’s almost angst-free, an easy read, there is a huge age gap (15 years) and fortunately or unfortunately it’s more sex than plot but still it’s an enjoyable read. Overall, I liked it and hope you enjoy it as well!

This is the second book for me by this author and again, I was very impressed. This story is the definition of sexy and naughty but not without also being romantic. I can also tell you I was pretty aroused at the end ;)

aroused gif - Google zoeken

Those of you who have read The Other book, already know Christoffer and Adam. Those of you who haven't should really give it a go. They had some nice "playtime" with Tyler. I remember being very curious about the dynamics of their relationship and wanting to know more. So I was extremely happy to find that I was getting my wish ;)

wish granted gif - Google zoeken

This book tells us how Adam and Christoffer, who seem to be so very different, met. They are quite a few years apart in age but that is not all that is so different about the two of them. I am a huge fan of "opposites attract", and this one definitely hit the mark.

But what I loved most about this story, is the connection these two shared. It was so sweet and intimate. Of course, it was also very very HOT ;)

I have to admit to being a sucker for "love at first sight", especially when I as a reader can actually feel it.

“You found me,”

I highly recommend this book and the previous one.

I loved all the books I've read by Roe Horvat and this book is no exception.
When I start a book by this author I just know it's going to be amazingly written. And this one was HOT. Super HOT!

This is the second book in the series Those Other Books.
It can be read as a standalone, even if it's actually about a couple we met in The Other Book. If you haven't read the first book, then you can definitely start with this one as it's about how Adam and Christoffer met and fell in love. Then you should jump right into The Other Book because it's not only extremely HOT, but it takes us to revisit Adam and Christoffer as a solid couple who know what they want and aren't afraid to ask for it. The steam level is just super high!!

Adam is a beautiful dancer. Christoffer is a successful businessman. This book has one of my favorites tropes: AGE GAP and what I really, really loved about it would be how different the main characters were. Adam is 21 years old and lean, Christoffer is 37 years old and a bear. But somehow they connected and were perfect for each other. The way they fit into place warmed my heart.

This story was well written, sweet at times, and if you're searching for a very HOT couple, and extremely HOT scenes, than this one is for you. Don't miss it!

Highly recommend!

4.5 Still Sexy Stars!

Just as smexy and explicit as the first, this delivered even more fantastically, touching on many favorite tropes.

-Sensitive, caring, gentle giant who yearns to find his perfect match and who only wants to do right by the man who’s caught his eye
-Slightly damaged younger MC who thinks he’s not worthy enough to keep
-Just enough of an age gap and a wonderful size difference *wink*
-Hot and dirty with a touch of kink, none of which went overboard

Despite this playing out over a matter of days, Horvat is a genius at making the progression plausible despite the whirlwind development of feels, always engaging the heart with an emotional heft that rings true. This now further confirms that this author can also expertly weave erotica with the above with just as high finesse. More please!

If I had to pick one word to describe Roe Horvat’s novel Adam Only it would be intimate. Horvat cracks open and explores every motivation, every last secret thought, and strips these men bare. Within their interactions with each other and their private musings, nothing is withheld from us. And it’s all done in the most profound and reaffirming way.

When Christoffer and Adam meet at a party they’re immediately drawn to each other. Complete opposites in every way, neither man dares to dream this could be the relationship they’ve been longing for. Well there’s nothing wrong with a night of passion, so they indulge in their incredible chemistry. What begins as honest, uninhibited sex, blossoms into the sharing of souls and starts a connection neither man can ignore.

After getting a glimpse of this hedonistic couple in the first book in this standalone series I was dying to learn their story. My interest was piqued by the curious way Tyler from The Other Book describes Christoffer’s careful devotion to Adam. And it made me sad to learn the depth of abuse and neglect that resides under Adam’s flamboyant confidence.

Told in alternating points of view, we get inside both men’s heads and learn their stories. For me as a reader, gleaning this insight, learning their thoughts, and understanding their reactions to each other, creates a bond with each of them… and increases the feeling of intimacy in the story.

I continue to be thrilled by Roe Horvat’s poetic and insightful writing. With words too beautiful to be called dirty talk, the honesty in the way these men connect and bare themselves to each other elevates erotica to an entirely new level. What makes Adam Only so special is the wealth of emotion Mr. Horvat captures between these two men and I can’t wait to see where this series goes from here.

There is magic in Roe Horvat's words. I seriously don't know how he does it but every single book of his has just reached into my soul and captured it.

This one is no different for all Roe labels it erotica and pops it into a different box.

It's still a beautifully written tale of love, of finding the right person who just understands you, who knows what you need and when you need it.

Is it erotic, oh Hell yes it is.

Does it make you puddle in a pool of drool, absolutely yes.

But it's so much more than that.

It's about finding a home, it's about filling up the empty and lost spaces in your heart and it's about moving forward with the knowledge that you can live your life exactly as you want with the right person at your side.

In just a few chapters, Roe gives us the start of the amazing relationship between Adam and Cristoffer that we saw in The Other Book and it is glorious.

Absolutely beautiful!

Darn, what can I say?!
How does Roe Horvat do it?
To pack so much into a story?

So much expressive language.
So much brilliant writing.
So much feeling.
So much absolutely incredible, sensual and emotional sex.

We met Christoffer and Adam in The Other Book as Tyler’s best friends. If you haven’t read it, I would seriously urge you to! Not that you necessarily need it to understand what is going on here, but it’s not only another awesome read, but also introduces us to the MCs of this book.

Adam is 22. Smaller, lithe and nimble. Christoffer is 37. A bear of a man with the appropriate strength. There are apart in age and where they are in life. Adam’s an upcoming dancer and Christoffer’s an accomplished businessman.

But when they meet it’s like a nuclear explosion. It’s clear from their first touch that they are made to gel, as they instinctively fulfil each other needs: Adam’s to be taken care of, sexually and emotionally, and Christoffer’s to provide that care.

I loved the dynamics between them and how we get to understand both men on the deepest level. Their bond, their connection is palpable throughout the book. Sex is never just sex here which makes it so very special. Every touch, every kiss turns into a bit of the jigsaw that is their love story.

I felt deeply for both men, each battling with his own fears of loving and losing the other. Due to his past Adam struggles profoundly to trust Christoffer with his heart, while Christoffer sets himself up for a broken heart disbelieving that someone like Adam is willing to take him (and his considerable size) on.

But what made my heart pound and really glued me to the seat is the delicate tenderness between the two men. The tiny touches. The kindness. The way Christoffer holds Adam. His gentle giant vibe. The ‘quiet strength’ in Christoffer’s actions. Adam‘s complete surrender to Christoffer. The way Adam lets himself feel safe in his arms.

The extent to which each man gives. It just took my breath away. Beautiful is the only fitting word that comes to mind (and hence was my first reaction) For me that’s what makes this book something to remember.

Tbh, I would be more than happy to read further ‘other books‘. Any chance, Roe???

Highly recommended!

The second book in the series but also essentially a prequel to book one, Adam Only chronicles the beginning of Adam and Christoffer’s breathtaking love affair.

This story provided some damn impressive insights into the inner workings of Christoffer and Adam as characters, both of whom were previously just these mythical-levels-of-sexy side characters whose main purpose on page in book one was basically to sex-it-up with Tyler and Joel in what is officially my favourite ménage scene of all time.

What we learn about these men here puts a whole new spin on what I thought I knew about them in book one (which I will now have to go back and promptly re-read for full affect). Adam and Christoffer were both much deeper, more complicated men than I could have imagined at first glance – especially Adam, who knocked me on my ass with his passion and vulnerability.

I adored these characters. Christoffer is this salt-of-the-earth gentle-giant, slightly older, looking for lasting love with someone whom he could dote on and cherish with every fibre of his being. Adam is this young, impassioned dancer, scarred from his past experiences of poor treatment and abandonment from family and lovers alike; he’s at war with himself, being inherently impulsive and excitable by nature but knowing that he needs to slow down and protect himself from more heartbreak.

I absolutely loved Adam and Christoffer’s dynamic as a couple; they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. Their romance was a whirlwind, as they shared an undeniable and instant attraction that they acted on immediately, yet I would not categorise their story as insta-love (even though it maybe is).

My favourite thing about Horvat’s stories remains the high quality of the writing. His lyrical writing style just makes me want to melt into a warm bath of his words. The stories are so striking, sensual and raw, always delivering on quality character development and giving us M/M couples that are unforgettable in their passion and love.

Needless to say, I loved it. <3

I loved what I saw of Adam and Christoffer’s relationship in The Other Book. But in Adam Only I couldn’t find what I expected. It was mainly sex: no plot, no romance development. Their relationship is based on sex. Repetitive, cheap-porn-like sex. They become addictive to each other. I love stories with lots of sex scenes, but (most of the time) I also want deep and palpable emotions.

The story is told from dual, third person viewpoint. This ‘thing’ between them seems unhealthy. There is a quite big age gap, but mainly their behavior what makes the relationship unbalanced. The ‘master’ thing is thrown in the story but never developed.
How could he explain when it barely made sense in his own head? He wanted to be owned without being shackled. He craved to be used without being punished. He needed a master, but he needed to feel free. He would lie down at his man’s feet if he could be sure he wouldn’t get stepped on.

Christoffer keeps calling Adam ‘a boy.’ The word ‘boy’ appears more than 70 times, the term ‘his boy’ 19 times, and there are many times ‘his dream boy’, ‘my boy’, ‘my/his sweet beautiful boy’, ‘my good sweet boy’, ‘his beloved boy.’
Oh, and there are 34 ‘young man’ and 21 ‘big man.’

I don’t mind the age gap, but the heavy emphasis on it never let me forget it. Even in the last line:
“You’ll stay?”
“Yeah,” his boy breathed, and Christoffer tightened his hold on him.

What can I say about this book that hasn't already been said? Besides...

Or in this case, Hallelujah to Roe Horvat who has erotica's number. On speed dial.

Admittedly, there are several of kinks of mine on display here: size difference, bear/twink dynamic, age difference, some D/s are on offer between them and, most importantly, two men who are unabashedly into each other from the very beginning. Though Adam has some baggage that is making him cautious where Christoffer is concerned, Christoffer navigates his feelings much more honestly.

I don't know that I would've connected with Adam or Christoffer as much as I did had it not been for the dual perspectives. Being inside both their head's allowed me to experience first hand just how smitten they both are with one another and that their connection transcends their mind-blowing sex.

And it was mind-blowing, rest assured. And frequent.

That seems about accurate. Adam is some sort of anal superhero. Long may he reign.

I seriously need to get my filthy mitts on the next one in the series because these two are gold. Straight gold.

"Adam Only" is the second book in the new series by Roe Horvat titled "These Other Books" but it takes place a few years before the first one.

We met Adam and Christoffer as a committed, loving and solid couple and this time we get the "how it all began" part of their story.

The book takes place mainly over a weekend and I usually don't like such a small timeframe in my books, but this time it worked. Maybe it was because we had already seen them together and knew how perfect they were for each other or it was because this author can write anything and make me not want to stop reading until I reach the last page. Either way, this was a story that, just like the first book, can be branded as erotic romance but it also has an actual plot and solid characters.

Adam is a little lost in his life. He loves to dance and he finally has a job doing that, but at the same time he feels lonely and damaged. He's been burned by some bad choices in past lovers and he's afraid to let himself get close to someone again. His attraction to Christoffer in undeniable but their differences are so obvious that he can't help but wait to be cast aside once more.

Christoffer is a big man with a tender heart. He cares about Adam and wants to see more of him but Adam's assumptions about his intentions get in the way and he's left scrambling for a way to find the beautiful man that spent a weekend in his house.

Their story is sensual, passionate and emotional. Maybe they moved too fast but, for once, that didn't bother me bacause we had already seen them as a couple and they were perfect.

Tyler from book one is present here, still wild and single. If he only knew what the future holds for him once he meets Joel!

So yeah, another wonderful book by Roe Horvat, you don't need to read the series in order but do read both books at some point, in any order you decide, because they're both great!

Now let's settle in for the wait to see if there will be a third book....

Roe, Roe, Roe, you've done it again. I have yet to read a book of yours I haven't loved. Adam Only is sensual, romantic- the writing is top notch.

Word to the wise though: DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC. ;)

What I love about Horvat's storytelling is that his writing is poetic. It just pulls you in and enchants you.

If you enjoy:

-Age gap
-Character driven stories
-Kink
-Size difference
-Tenderness

Then I'm sure you will enjoy Adam Only.

Should you read The Other Book first? I think so, plus, it's bloody fantastic- do it!

Adam Only by Roe Horvat is a winner all around.

5 Stars! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I liked the the Other Book a bit more because I didn't know the characters yet. But Adam and Chris were amazingly unique in Tyler's book so how could I have not loved them in their own book.
Roe Horvat's writing is still on point, especially in this erotica setting.
I'm already looking forward to the next release.

4.5 Stars!! 💕 Loved it!!💘 Roe Horvat has fast become one of my favorite authors ever since I read "Dirty Mind". He can write M/M erotica like no other author that I have ever read. Having had a glimpse of Adam and his effervescent personality in "The Other Book" I was really looking forward to "Adam Only"😍. From the very first chapter Adam grabs the attention of both Christopher as well as the reader. He is light itself in the way he captures everyone's eyes with his dancing. His confidence and go-getter attitude when he meets Christopher makes it seem like he can have whatever and whoever he wants. One almost feels envious of him; and his probably charmed life😇. However, as soon as the POV shifts to Adam, we get the insight into his life; his thoughts, his insecurities, his fears, doubts and baggage 😢.

"He wanted to be owned without being shackled. He craved to be used without being punished. He needed a master, but he needed to feel free. He would lie down at his man’s feet if he could be sure he wouldn’t get stepped on. Was such a connection even possible?"

The subtle shift in the story-telling is so amazing that we as a reader are constantly going through a see-saw of emotions. We see Adam's worth reflected in Christopher's eyes and Christopher's strengths in Adam's. And while we as a reader know that they will eventually end up together and have a wonderful albeit unconventional life (having read "The Other Book🤓💕), the two (at this stage in their relationship) still need to communicate their real feelings to each other. In age, experiences and livelihoods; they couldn't be further apart, but what they share is a fear of rejection and that leads to some misunderstanding. Will they overcome it? 😱 Or is it too soon to admit the depth of what they are feeling?💘
Needless to say that since this is a gay-erotica book the steam level is HOT HOT HOT🔥🔥🔥. But Roe has a remarkable ability of writing erotica without making it vulgar or cheap. And despite the insta-lust, as a reader you can feel the palpable chemistry between the two💞. Although I would have liked a little wining-and-dining and a longer story-line, I still loved the organic way they came together. Adam and Christopher were just Meant To Be 💖.
Highly recommended to all fans of M/M who are looking for a beautifully written erotic novella. 👍👍

My first read since the Beta and just wow!! This held some amazingly developed moments. I absolutely adore this couple. They are the perfect pair. ❤️

Original notes:
Had the opportunity to Beta read this jewel. It is everything I could have asked for. Absolute love for Adam and C. Can't wait for everyone to see how these two amazing men met each other. <3

4.5 stars rounded down...full review to follow soonish (read right after I finish my cold shower)!

All those other reviews that you've read...

well...turns out they're true. This book is sexy as f**k!!! So if sex is something that bothers you or makes you squirm maybe this isn't the book for you...or maybe it is?Maybe it's time to let go of some inhibitions.

Adam is a very tactile person or at least he is when Christoffer's around but it seems Christoffer has the same affliction and he takes every chance he can to touch Adam the sweet, magical man who has captured his heart.

This is the second book in the author's series entitled 'Those Other Books' and each one can be read as a standalone with the exception of 'Joel' from 'The Other Book' the characters in both books do over lap and the events from 'The Other Book' actually take place after the events of 'Adam Only' and yes, I know this sounds confusing but whether you've read 'The Other Book' yet or not it's really a non-issue...really read them in whatever order makes you happy and everything will be fine.

'Adam Only' is similar to 'The Other Book' in that it's a love story that's both romantic and incredibly sexual...Adam and Christoffer's story is uniquely their own and there's a very natural ease with which Adam submits to Christoffer that feels both incredibly sensual and right. Don't get me wrong this wasn't a D/s relationship nor was there any real kink involved, what there is though are some very hot, sensual and romantic encounters between two men with a definite age gap.

'Adam Only' is about two men with different needs who feel like they don't fit...that the world doesn't really hold a place for them until they meet and little by little each man begins to realize that...one man's needs is another man's wants and it just takes the right man with the the right wants to make things fit creating a place where they are both loved, wanted and safe.

To echo the sentiment of more than one review 'Adam Only' is a book that is deserves being read without interruptions and probably best not at work, or the local Starbucks or even on the transit ride home at the end of the day...seriously alone time it's a thing and in this case it's a good thing.

An ARC of 'Adam Only' was graciously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

It might have been a mistake to read the Those Other Books Series back to back, because while I truly was impressed and pleasantly surprised by The Other Book, Adam Only read like a super indulgent self fan- service.

It was way over the top, with a trope that's been used and re-used and then used again in Erotic Romance, and I no longer like it much. I found the sex to be repetitive. I didn't feel like the story was sweet or cute at all. And while the book does deliver on the Erotic side, the Romance is even less developed than it was on The Other Book. Where I had find Joel's and Tyler's book plot to be entertaining, Adam's and Chris's story was cringey.

With The Other Book and now Adam Only Roe Horvat has become my go to author when it comes to M/M erotic romance.
Adam Only is the story of the 37 year old Christoffer and the 22 year old dancer Adam. They are appear in The Other Book when they already are a couple. Adam Only is the story of how they meet and become more.
Yes, there are a lot of hot sex in this book but it’s filled with so much more. The care and love between Christoffer and Adam is what shines through. They spend a weekend together and slowly gets to know one another. It’s Adam’s past that puts a stop to it but thankfully the heart wants what it wants. It’s a quick read that packs a punch.
