I could not put this down. Dang, DW Marshall can write! This book managed to be both dark and sweet in equal measures and had such great characters that tugged at my heart from page 1. Whitney is coming back from the traumatic experience is being kidnapped and spending a year in captivity only to come home and find that her boyfriend is a worse monster than her former captor. But she is so much stronger than she gives herself credit for and I loved her hard-won journey to healing and her developing relationship with Nico. I will definitely be reading a lot more from this author.

This is book 5 and I have spent the entire day reading this series and loving it even though I feel like I have been on an emotional rollercoaster for most of the time. This is an awesome series, this book and all the four previous books in the series are amazing and I really can’t pick a favorite. This is a wonderful series and a must read for lovers of this genre.

Wow

Whitney's story is crazy good! So emotionally packed. This story will have you on the edge of your seat through the entirety of it! I couldn't stop reading!

Dark and Sweet

I enjoyed this book. It put me through the wringer and duped me on the love interest, but yes the HEA is sweet. If you like dark, angsty romance, this book is for you. AND this is the 5th in the Seven Chambers series so there’s plenty more where this came from.
