I started this book in March of 2021 and finally finished it in February of 2023. I’ve managed to read many dozens of other books since then. While I appreciate the history and the story itself, the writing style was hard for me to get into. Lots of repetition, very linear, nothing to hook or reel me in, let alone remain engaged.

The book is a very detailed account of the actual fights, background history and personal observations. I believe if you have a history or aviation knowledge and interest, you will appreciate this book.
