Despre alterarea monedei

Rate this book
(Murray Rothbard)

Brave and ahead of his time, Juan de Mariana criticized the king’s monetary alteration and other inflation policies such as monopolies. This pamphlet cost Mariana the accusation of 14 crimes and a couple of years in prison. His words are applicable today, making this denunciation and analysis of legal plunder and public spending worth giving a read.

Totally amazing. A Spanish author writing in 1600 harping on the same issues that Ron Paul attempts to drive home every day. There's reason for hope here, as well as a deep connection to the natural law tradition that most defenders of sound money all believe in. A fantastic read.

"Those who are in Power seem less-educated than the people because they pay no attention to the disturbances and evils frequently caused by their decisions".
