THIS BOOK IS PART OF A SERIES. DESCRIPTION CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR BOOK 1.
Serenity has been kidnapped.
After the rebels broke into the castle, her world fell apart. Her dragons are determined to get her back, but there are dangers untold and secrets that could destroy everything. Serenity must find the strength to fight this new darkness, or this new family she's found could be gone forever.
Dragon Hunted is a Reverse Harem paranormal romance.
I agree with some of the other reviewers this book has inconsistencies that need hashing out. What really annoyed me was how it seemed no matter what Matthew did the fmc kept getting all hormonal that he didn’t love her or want to stay. Then there’s a huge production about bringing their bond back like it is so hard to do when literally her mom completed it for her assistant in like 5 mins. It felt like the book focused on the back and forth with the loss of the bond between her and Matthew. Then it required a huge fanfare? I get that part of that was to I think lure the bad guys out? Which that part didn’t seem to make that much sense. Idk. Then some how the fmc has this assistant who is her friend and they act like really good friends even though it seems like serenity has only been on the island for not that long, not long enough to make this great friendship bond. Idk there is a very unclear timeline of things that don’t quite make sense. This book just needs more work.
This book wasn't bad but it also wasn't very good. I'm not going to continue after this book. I was also not ok with it heading in the MM direction. Three of the four are already interested in the other guys in the group. I saw another review that mentioned about politics and you could definitely see that in this book.
I'm still a bit confused about the beginning of the book. I understand Serenity is lost after being taken to an island. There seem to be a few islands, maybe? Anyways, her reality was skewed so it was hard to determine what was real and what was in her mind.
The book went really fast though. So much happened in such a short time. I wish more time had been spent on Serenity's mates and their connection with each other. I also would have loved to see more of her taking a leadership role. Still this was a wonderful part of her story and I loved the growth that all of the main characters made.
This series is really good. I still feel like some parts are rushed. There are pieces of the story that are skated around. I feel like the relationship between the queen and serenity is kinda superficial. Really more time should've been spent between the two of them instead of the overly abundant avoidance. This series definitely has the potential to be a 5 star but as it is, it's a decent, quick read.
Really liked the second book. You get to know the guys a lot more with some hints of MM. Yes please. With the first chapter of book three added to this I’m a little nervous they are going on the direction of an added mate. One of my biggest pet peeves with RH are thought after added mates that are not necessary to the story. Enjoying the series but that will kill it for me.
This second book of the story was quite intense. I’m still a little confused about what happened during her kidnapping, and I’m not sure if the second book will address this. There was a lot happening and I don’t feel like anything was truly addressed. I’m going to read the final book, just to conclude the series. The first book had promise but I feel this book just brought more questions than answers.
I didn’t have very high expectations from this book. On the outside it looked like this series would be superficial and smutty. Turns out I was wrong and I’m really happy to be mistaken.
I’m not going to have a long review until the end of the series. Needless to say I’m excited to start the next book and I can’t wait to see what happens. I’m also super excited that Fae have entered the story. This was completely unexpected!
This book had more spice than the first one but I'd only put it as a 2 out of 5 on the spice. I love that the book is why choose and paranormal. The one thing I wish I could change so far is the maturity level of the characters, it almost seems like they are better suited if they were labeled as 18-20 years old. So far this series is what I would recommend to a new paranormal reader as its light but still grabs your attention.
Serenity the lost but found princess Gets kidnapped to another island by rebels. But don’t worry Adrian Matthew Dylan and Liam go and rescue her. She is finally discovering her powers and everything with her dragon. Things get steamy🔥🔥 in things book and she gets to claim the 4 hunky dragons as her mates finally!!! That ending ( No spoilers!) hehe! But dang book 3 is going to be crazy
I can’t wait to read book 3! So sad reading how much a broken mate bond felt. But so glad how it ended. This impending war sounds like it’s gonna be epic! And whoa about her roommate! Hunters/or rebels(not sure which side at this point) were way closer to her than I thought! I’m praying her adopted dad wasn’t a part of that.
I enjoyed this portion of the story better than the first. I'm enjoying the slow building conflict that is going on, but Serenity is driving me crazy. She honestly behaves as though she's only 13 or 14 (unless it comes to sex). I'm really interested in how she has all these powers and cant wait to get some answers.
Book two is amazing, I have really enjoyed reading it and learning more about all the character, the plot is great no keeps you interested Can’t wait for book 3
The book was given to me as an ARC, so that I would give an honest review
Fiinished Book 1 yesterday and now I'm finished at book 2! This is a really great story. The plot thickens the princess is in more danger then ever..now with the fae prince Really recommend this book
Love this book. How her and Mathew have a love hate relationship but when it comes down to it the bond is redone. Will Adrian and Mathews relationship flurrish . Cannot wait to read the next book.
Great story,Serentity still can't catch a break. She has been blessed with a deathly power.when she thought she lost Matthew she did something no one else could.
I really wanted to like this series. There was so much going for it, but I just got bored with it around book 3. I tried to push through, DNF 68% of book 4.
