Absolutely loved this take on a grown up Hansel and Gretel. I can recommend the whole series for lovers of fairy tales and detective stories.

If you enjoy mysteries, sarcasm, and some magical realism, the Detective Gretel books are for you. I ate them up and wish there were more. This is Gretel of Bavaria from the Grimm's Fairy Tales, all grown up and running her own detective business. I listened to these books on Audible, and the voice talents of Kate Reading put the engaging stories over the top. I'd probably listen to anything Reading read — even the dictionary. Enjoy!
