Haelo is recovering after almost taking her own life. With the help of her loved ones she starts to value her life more and realizes taking her own life was nothing more than the coward's way out. While learning to love herself, Haelo has to maneuver her way through her life and her relationships with her family, friends and her deepest cut, Legend. While trying to get over her situation with losing her love and best friend, she finds herself entangled with Marquis, a handsome teacher she happens to meet in a gym. Marquis becomes the antidote she needs to get over Legend once and for all. With all fingers pointing his way, Legend beats himself up knowing that he was the trigger behind Haelo’s suicide attempt. After Haelo refuses to have anything to do with him and Vanessa’s secrets are revealed, his life takes a drastic turn and he soon spins into a downward spiral. Just when he thinks Haelo is back in his life for good, he realizes he has Marquis to compete with. Heaven is still reeling from a traumatic heartbreak and after giving birth to their daughter Heiress, she’s trying to figure out what it means to be alone with a newborn. When tragedy strikes, Heaven realizes that maybe being in Lorenzo's protective arms is where she needs to be. Lorenzo is a completely different man after the birth of his daughter. No longer does he do the things he once did to get himself in trouble and instead focuses on making sure his daughter is shown the love that she deserves, but is he the man he knows he needs to be or is it a phase? Love is a trigger for many bad habits and bad behaviors especially when it comes to the complicated lives of the Giovannis and the Christensens. Will their lives ever get back to normal of will tragedy continue to claim holds on them?

I hope with all my might that Haelo is strong enough to get through her tragic moments, if not for herself then at least for her son. I am so in love with this book. I've laughed, cried and had steam coming out my ears. I'm so glad that Heaven got it together and gave Renzo another chance even if he really didn't give her a choice after what happened. I just love Legacy, hands down he is my favorite. The love that Legend and Haelo share even after all they'd been through is still strong and tense. I felt kinda bad for Marquis because he knew the truth and still wanted to be with Haelo even if I think their decision about the baby was wrong. I hate it had to end like that on their wedding day and I hope Haelo don't sink back into darkness because Xavier is depending on her.🎀🎀

Outdone
I have so much I want to vent about but I’ll hold off because I don’t want to ruin the book I will say this regardless of what they went through Legend and Haelo . They were better than what she did. They both made mistakes. I wouldn’t blame him if he never messed with her again after this. She should’ve stood up to Quis. To me he wasn’t a “real man” sorry not sorry 🤷🏽♀️. Even if she hadn’t opened her mouth Heaven should’ve. Right is right and wrong is wrong and Haelo and Quis we’re dead freaking wrong. Had me 86 hot. I felt bad for her in book 1 but she shut all that down in this one. I love Heaven and Lorenzo! Legacy is bae for me though. Outstanding book I don’t think I can wait long for part 3 though

One of The Best!
Omg! Soo much is going on!! Haelo and Legend have split, Legacy and Deja are doing gre and Lorenzo and Heaven are trying to figure out this co-parenting. Heiress is growing and Lorenzo is trying to get his woman back! Heaven is scared so jus coparent is better. When she is offered to sing with a popular rapper Spazz, she jumps at the opportunity. Renzo tries to warn her but she goes and she will end up in nightmare! Renzo will paint the street red until Spazz was caught! Meanwhile getting ready for a wedding and the coordinators are Legend and Haelo. Marquis is the new man in Haelos life and he’s in lover but is she? Still in love with Legend but she won’t admit it! Buns in the oven and mama baby, daddy’s mane? Tragedy and it’s time to grow up.Part 3

Great read
I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about, but I loved this book. I really think the people who complain about the plots of these books should move to a different genre. Always complaining about weak women, rough men, same plot—when that isn’t the case in this book. Haelo and legend seem like they were meant to be despite the trials they’ve gone through. He deserves to know about Xavier! In the next installment, I hope to see happy endings and honestly between the characters. I enjoyed this book!

Good read
This was book 2 of the Triggered series and I see it was a bit better, however there was just too much damn drama back and forth with Haelo and Legend. Although I liked their relationship much better she went ahead and married Quis not really loving him like she did. Too much of a roller coaster ride with these two. I thought the decision was unfair about telling Legend, but that's just my opinion. It was no surprise to me about Marquis condition because I knew it was going to come out. So now I'm going to grab the last book to see the outcome of all of this.

I'm so done
I am an emotional wreck. Why can't Legend in Halo get it together if they both would just be honest with one another it would be the perfect story. Marquis did not deserve what Halo is dishing out however he was in the wrong for not wanting to tell Legend the truth I'm so happy that heaven, renzo and Legacy and deja all found their mates. I cant wait til Part 3.

It was good!
Whew, the drama!!! Haelo can’t catch a break... but I think it's because she keeps making dumb decisions. Legend needs to know about his baby and step in. I'm happy Heaven and Lorenzo got it together. I hope we don't have to wait forever for part three....its time to end this story or drop them back to back. IJS 🤷♀️

This is sooooo twisted!!! Haelo is really getting the bad end of the stick!!! I thought her and Legend was gonna get back together but she found love in Marquis, still slept with enemy lol and has his baby that he knows nothing about smh.... The pot thickens.... I'm ready for part 3

Wow! Haelo can’t catch a break! This could be Legend’s chance to step up in a big way and get his girl and son but I don’t know if he has it in him! Sometimes tragedy brings people together like it did for Heaven and Lorenzo. Good read!

Good book
This was a good read. I just wish the characters was described in detail like her other books. I was sad that Marquis didn't make it was a good guy. But I wanted her Legend to be together. I hope we will not have to wait another 6 months for part 3
