I've heard them all, but that's not who I am. I'm just Ryan.
I've had my fair share of women but it's not like I have commitment issues. I just never met a woman that I wanted to give my heart to... until I met her.
Anshi Jain.
She's a spiraling mess struggling to get her life back on track and I can't help being fascinated by her. She's incredibly stubborn with a past that should have sent me running in the other direction, but I have no desire to let her go. Leave it to me to fall for the one woman who is too stubborn to accept my help.
Not that I'm complaining. I won't give up until Anshi is mine.

Love by Surprise is a very entertaining story! My heart went out to Anshi, and I loved how Ryan never gave up on what, or who, he knew would make him happy and his life complete. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
This book was a bit different than those I´ve read lately but in a wonderful way.
The story is about a broken, unsure woman, who after rehab tries to get her life back to normality. When her mother died she was seeking the love and understanding of her father´s. The biggest issue though is to learn how to trust again. She is very talented and attempts to start her own designing company which without the necessary cash ist quite difficult. When she meets Ryan, the best friend of her sister´s husband at their wedding, and wants to steal the groom´s shoes for getting the winning price, Ryan offers her a job she couldn´t resist. What should have been a little start help develops into a crash into love. Would she let Ryan to her heart or would she deny her feelings?
I fell in love with Ryan for his patience. He searched her for one year and when he finally found her, she was so scared, that he had to let her do all the things on her own in her way..... with just a little push and in baby steps.
I loved every second of this amazing book and can´t wait for the next one in the series.
Ryan and Anshi have an undeniable attraction for each other. Before a romance could spark Anshi disappears. When she returns for her sister's wedding, Ryan is determined to keep her close and offers her a job. Their relationship grows despite Anshi's family issues and secretive past. If you enjoy sweet, feel-good books, you will want to put this on your reading list.
First book I have read by this author; I loved this beautiful story. This was a story of love, loss, and finding your sense of purpose. Anshi is an inspiration to read. The story follows Anshi and Ryan; not just on their relationship and future but on accepting the past. Definitely looking forward to more from this author.
The story has been written in first person from the points of view of both Ryan and Anshi. The characters are realistic, I could feel for Anshi and how she was going through the pain of losing her mother ad how unsupportive and unrelenting her father was. I understood her insecurities and her trust issues. I loved her relationship with her grandmother and also that she shared with her sister, Nisha. I wanted to know more about Ryan, his family and his sister have been mentioned, but details would have been welcome. Ryan is sweet and patient and understanding. I loved how he stood up for her. The story is simple and fast paced, I finished the book in one sitting and am looking forward to the next one in the series.
Love By Surprise was an enjoyable read, and all though l did not read book1 in this series l think this can be read as a standalone! Loved Ryan being there and understanding for Anshi for what she endured! Enjoyed the other characters! Perfect ending!
Love by Surprise Anshi Jain is the black sheep of the family. She takes a chance at redemption to prove to herself, and most especially her father, that she can be responsible. Ryan Penn is Anshi's sister's husband's best friend, and he is determined to help her even when she's too stubborn to accept his help.
Lessons: 1. Challenge yourself one small accomplishment daily, and push your boundaries. It is how ordinary people become extraordinary. 2. Be proud of what you do and the little steps you take. 3. To begin a life of accomplishment, deal with your problems while having accountability. 4. It is easy to judge, to not care to help, but still judge. 5. It is okay to have a past. 6. Don’t wait for anyone to tell you how to live your life. That’s giving people too much power over you. 7. Every problem will seem smaller with the right person by your side.
Aashi Jain, seeks to redeem her troubled childhood and past meets Ryan, a wealthy ladies man.
Story also deals with low self-esteem, alcoholism, parental expectations and approval.
Enjoyed the wedding scenes which shares indian customs, culture and traditions.
Indian western fusion romance has a distinctive advantage of bringing a fresh perspective to the stagnant romance genre by weaving the said multi-racial relationships with traditional indian culture and values.
It would take it a step further by owning its authenticity by standing steadfast to traditional morals and values without pandering to the liberal western concept of relationships.
After all, it is ironic the romance genre seeks to sell couple exclusivity but the worth of the male is measured by his claimed conquests.
the only unlikable aspect of the book is that it is so slow, the characters don't kiss until the very last moment, and BAM the story ends...
honestly, it was well-written, it is not the kind of book where MCs fall for each other at first sight and kiss the next moment... dare I say, it was realistic.
on the whole, it's worth reading if you like non-smutty books with cheesy pick-up lines. The characters emotions were very well descripted and I loved reading Ryan's pov.
Quite different from all the other romances I read and it was enjoyable (3.75/5)

Love By Surprise was a well written book, and one that I really enjoyed. It was a little different than one of my normal reads but I am always open to learning more about cultures from other nationalities. I would certainly recommend this sweet story to others. I received an ARC copy of the ebook, and was under no obligation to give a good review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
The story is simple , A much expected one. There were some fun elements in the story. The character of Anshi jain is well written. There was no love by surprise as the title says . On the whole a good read.
Hi. I just read love by surprise. I loved it. I especially liked the love story with no erotic kissing and f...ING. most of love stories are filled with it. But what you wrote was pure and heart touching.
