This is a great addition to the series but C.M. Steele is always a one click read for me and this was a great read.
Mary Stark witnesses a murder one evening when she was leaving work after agreeing to testify she is placed in the witness protection programme organised by Detective Spencer she is sent to stay with the local DA and member of the Steele Riders MC known as Beast. Knowing that she has to hide for the next four months she is prepared to do what it takes but she is unprepared for the instant and overwhelming attraction to the man she is staying with for her protection. Can she really stay under the roof of a man who she is falling in love with who pushes her away at every opportunity and is she really as safe as she thinks she is?
Beast is the local District Attorney and one of the main members of the Steele Riders MC who takes all his responsibilities seriously so when he is asked by Detective Spencer if he could help him hide Mary Stark he agrees to let her stay with him. Never one who likes to share his space he isn’t exactly happy that is until he sees the woman who is now living with him, his heart is taken in that one moment and he knows that she is his fate but being the professional that he is he knows that nothing can happen until the man who wants to hurt her is behind bars, but is the danger she is in closer than anyone knows?
This was such a good read and the towel scene was so cute. Highly recommended read Beast was smitten by Mary from the first and there was no way that he was going to let her get away he was the perfect alpha and over protective male that I have come to expect from this author. 4.5* read.

Mary is headed to witness protection since she saw something she wasnt suppose to see. So the police Spencer has some friends Steele Mc and he ask Beast a favor to hide Mary. Beast is sorta okay but he is grumpy with peoples in his space. And boy when he gets home he gets a view.
Temptation and sexual tension is high between these two since Will aka Beast and Mary are trying to stay away from each other due to the case. It doesnt take long since Beast might lose Mary when she thinks he was out with someone at the club (he wasnt, he was drunk and a old lady accidently sprayed him with perfume), but some more drama happened.. and betrayal happens from someone he thought was a friend.

Beast
Beast is the 5th book in the Steele Riders MC series and it was insane!! Beast meets Mary when he is tasked to protect and hide (witness protection) her until it was time for her to testify by Detective Spencer. Sparks turn in to flames when these two catch a glimpse of each other. This story is so jam packed full of action that it will leave you breathless. I can't even tell you how much I adore this story. Beast and Mary have one twisty, turny crazy road to travel together before finally getting their Happily Ever After.
I consider this to be a safe story. There is absolutely no abuse of any kind (other than what's done to the bad guys of course!!), No cheating, no ow/om drama, no others after meeting, celibate hero and virgin heroine. No mention of previous partners. I can hardly wait to see what C.M. Steele has in store for Steeleville and the Riders next

I live for this woman from now until the day I die.
Another fantastic story in one of my absolute favorite series. CM Steele manages yet again to bring us a taste of MC life with an alpha, possessive man who only has eyes for his girl. And she does it without any of the ickyness that MC books are normally known for.

Mary needs to hide. She witnessed a crime and wants to testify but danger lurks around the corner. What better place to hide than the DA’s house surrounded by the Steele riders?? That move turns out to be more dangerous than not. Sparks fly and chemistry is combustible. Can Mary and Beast keep their attraction under control until after the trial??

Mary Stark needs to put in a safe lace after witnessing a murder. She ends up in the care of DA William "Beast" Brandon is a man who likes his space, he likes his quiet time and when he agrees to take Mary in he is already figuring out where else he can move her that is until he sees her and then he is more then determined to get her case to trial so he can claim the woman who is going to be his wife.
This was good, had a few twists I didn't expect. I liked that Mary is a bit of a spitfire when it comes to Beast. Beast is intense, I like that each of the characters in this series is so different from the next.

Had a great start, but towards the end I started to lose interest.
No OW drama
Very little angst.
Insta love.
Older guy/younger woman.
The writing style was mediocre.
I barely finished it. I felt as if the story was going in circles. It did not hold my interest. Once they had sex, that is all they did. It got boring and redundant.

Beast is book five in the Steele riders MC series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Mary Stark witnesses a crime, she ends up in a new town under the protection of a DA. Brandon ‘’beast’’ is surly and gruff. He doesn’t like people invading his space or touching his stuff. That being said, he feels and instant connection and attraction towards his new house guest.
The chemistry between Mary and Brandon (beast) is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I loved how protective Brandon was of Mary.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

With the exception of Boomer, I think Beast may be my favorite Steele Rider to date!! Being a DA, Beast is asked by friend on a police force outside of Steeleville to help with a woman needing witness protection. Eventhough he doesn't like people in his personal space, Beast offers to allow her to stay in his house. Mary, a young librarian, had witnessed a murder and needed protection. Beast walks into his house, already irritated that someone he doesn't know will be in his home, comes face to face with a very naked Mary. That sealed her fate! This book had lots of action that we've come to expect from the Steele Riders series and, of course, an growly, possessive, obsessive, and protective alpha that would do anything for his woman. LOVED IT!!!!

Beast sure lives up to his name! I love these Steele Riders MC boys and Beast; I knew he was going to be a favorite! He sure grumps and groans over a witness needing protective custody staying in his house. As a DA, he accepts it but he really doesn't like anyone touching his stuff. Mary isn't thrilled with being in protective custody over a murder she witnessed. Especially if she has to stay with a guy who sounds like he is OCD about his home. When he comes home, he spots her in the hallway naked and suddenly he is grumpy for a whole new reason. From that moment on, I was glued to the page. Beast is suddenly like a bear with a honeypot and Mary likes to poke said bear. So much fun with tons of heat, I read it in 24 hours! Cannot wait for the next member to fall!

This was definitely a release I was not expecting, but it was soooo good. Beast was amazing and over the top alpha. He did not stand a chance when he saw Mary. However, it was agony because, to keep her forever, he first needed to put the man that was after her behind bars. When he saw Mary in danger, he took matters into his own hands and went after his woman right then and there. Mary was in danger, and she found herself falling for the man who was protecting her. These two were just right for each other. HEA guaranteed, and I cannot wait for more from this fabulous author.

Book 5 in that awesome series. Freaking loved Beast he was hot, possessive, tender and sometimes an idiot but so so sweet. He fell so hard and fast for Mary but boy did she have baggage that followed her to Steeleville. Insta love and a HEA. The right amount of actions as well. Great how each book is kind of stand alone but all of them together paint a greater picture and story. Can't wait for the next Rider to fall in love or maybe Roxie??

Like the other books, there is an age gap between Beast and Mary, however, it is not a discerning factor in their relationship. Mary is a star witness to a murder and Beast takes it upon himself to put her under his protection. Their instant attraction contributes to this decision. Can he keep her safe? Will their romantic journey be smooth or bumby? You must read this book to find out.
I enjoy Ms. Steele’s writing style and find her books easy to read. She masterfully creates rich dialog that is interspersed with witty banter. Her descriptive scenes are realistic. I appreciate the way she builds a support system for her suffering lead characters. Ms. Steele creates the perfect recipe in this captivating biker romance she even adds a bit of suspense. I like how she blends in strong and likeable characters, sexual chemistry, and a splash of caring and intimacy to make this an outstanding biker romance story. Well done, Ms. Steele!

I need a strong fmc with a backbone. She not in this story...
I understand that the mmcs ate alphas n alpha holes, but some of the bikers can be very rude to other fmcs in the stories. Aka Boomer. U have found that I don't like how he treated Mary in this book. It wasn't anythg major, but I still think he is a jerk. Anyways I didn't like beast either. He treated Mary horrible in the beginning. He is rude also. I expect if the mmc has alpha hole moments that he should make up to that. N yet again, a weak female!. Stand up for yourself n stop forgiving easily. Beast treated Mary as an inconvenience. N on top of that, he had some thoughts that indicated he wished mary not to be in his life. Like, really, I thought these mmcs were supposed to be protective and romantic. N mary forgived him way too fas n easy. No backbone. This series has mmcs who are mean to the fmcs in beginning n get away with it all. Frustrating.... I really needed better characters....

This is the 5th book in this great series and is Beast and Mary’s story. Mary is a witness to a crime and when she agrees to testify, she is put into witness protections, and Beast who is the local district attorney as well as MC member, agrees to have her come live with him for her protection until the trial. From the moment these two set eyes on each other there is an intense connection between them. Beast is gruff and surly with having someone invading his home, and the chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable. Danger is lurking closer than first though, but can Beast keep Mary safe? This is a well written story which is action packed, and with twists, danger, suspense, and love, which leads to an entertaining and all-consuming tale. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

DNF. Not my cup of tea. Within the first hour of meeting...Beast accidentally sees the heroine naked and afterwards says and acts way too inappropriately in the kitchen. His comments about doing more than looking if he sees her naked again and kissing her forehead before grabbing a drink for her just seemed like a creep move. Who does that to a complete stranger? Comes off as a pervert in my opinion. And his internal dialogue about wanting her to have his baby was cringe. Basically, all it takes is a pretty face and nice body for him to want to claim her. Corny. I couldn’t read any further than that.

While trying to get situated at Beast's house she goes to take a shower realizing she doesn't have a towel and ends up running into Beast totally nude. The instant Beast sees Mary he knows she was made just for him, but since he's been charged with her safety he can't claim her right away. This is a sexy, sweet read and I highly recommend it!

William, AKA Beast, is a DA attorney and member of the Steele Riders MC. He likes his life clean and organised, and hate having people in his space touching his things. When he had to offered his spared bedroom to a unknown woman hiding from a murdered until the trial he thought ge would just bare it and move on. The last thing he expect when he got home was to find his kitchen messy and a naked goddess looking for a towel. He tries to resist their attraction between them but to no avail. Great plot. I liked that the story wasn't just about the romance but had other things going on though always wrapped up around the main characters. Highly recommended

I love Belleville and the men in charge do not just run the mc. William, also known as Beast is the DA and he takes his job seriously. Having a woman in his clean and orderly life is a big deal, especially if he has to keep her safe. What he doesn't know is how beautiful Mary will change his life forever, including his thoughts on people he thought were on his side. Beast is just one of the awesome men in this series I would recommend everyone read.

This was a great thrilling read about Beast and Mary. Their chemistry was off the charts. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this wonderful, sexy, yummy love story. This series keeps getting steamier and intense. Beast was so protective and loving of his Mary. Love this series and this one was definitely my most favorite. I can't wait to read more by CM Steele.

I just looked and there is no next book at the moment. I’m super sad because I want to see what happens to “Rico”. I'm glad the DA finally got his happily ever after. Beast was infatuated with Mary the first time he saw her, even though it was under fire circumstances. She made him change his point of view about having a family immediately. I never suspected the detective or Beast's assistant to be in cahoots together. I can't wait to see what happens in Steeleville next.

I love Beast!!!
Beast is set in his ways and can’t stand when something either gets in his way or doesn’t go his way.
When a friends “call” in a favor he is there to lend a hand except this may be a favor that may come to bite him in the you know what, only that may be a good thing for him.
Mary having witnessed something that will now change her life for the better is put into witness protection.
When she sees Beast for the first time she realizes that she has just claimed her man only now she has to get over some little insecurities and everything will be copacetic said no ever.
I have to say I fell for Beast myself but I still think Boomer will be my all time favorite. Oh who am I kidding all of the Steele Men are my weakness. Wink wink.

I have to say I fell for Beast myself but I still think Boomer will be my all time favorite. Oh who am I kidding all of the Steele Men are my weakness. Wink wink.

This felt way longer than 135 pages.
I don't know what to say but that this didn't interest me all that much and I kinda fell asleep near the end (which was my fault definitely since I had a long day) but maybe this sped up my process...
