After being forced to up and move, Icelynn vowed to close her heart off to men for a while. Her main focus is to take care of her daughter and finish school. The last thing on her mind was a man until she walked on the Maler farm and met the man of her dreams, Adoreé. When her past comes looking for her will she be able to be the woman that Adoreé needs or will their past come and ruin them before they even get started.
Adoreé has never been a people’s person, outside of his family and the occasional stripper, he pretty much stays to himself. When he meets Icelynn, better known as Ice at the club he knew right away that she was different. Allowing her to get close to him causes some old wounds to resurface, something that he isn’t mentally prepared for. When he’s forced to look his past in the eye, will he be able to face the pain, or will he blame Icelynn for drudging up old memories?

This series is good! Not 1 but 2 cliff hangers! Ugh I can’t stand Karson! I figured Trouble robbed Vinny! Piper so fake I’m glad Sut is done with her! On to part 3!?

That ending through me off. Who is Ziva, and where did she come from? Siya had been telling Mega that he needed to tell the boys the truth, and whatever the truth was, Mega kept putting it off. Now, it look like a whole can of worms have been opened up, and this Ziva person, looks like she was going to be nothing but trouble. I really hope that Siya stand her ground, and fight for her marriage, and I pray that Mega begs for forgiveness.
I'm so disappointed in Kahleno, because he knew what Sutton had just been through, and he turned around and became the same hurt, that Trouble caused. Trouble only pushed Sutton more into the arms of Kahleno, but Trouble was too selfish to realize that. It wasn't until his well ran dry, that he realized the benefits that Sutton gave him. Sunny, was just something to do, and she obviously didn't get that part. Sunny was too busy trying to prove a point, that she didn't realize she already lost.
I loved Icelynn and AD together. AD just wasn't patient, and he didn't know anything about being in any type of relationship when it came to Ice, and he said that he would be. He gave up before the relationship could even began, and it's unfair to both AD and Ice, because they both deserved happiness. It was a shame that Siya and Mega could see what was going on around them, but poor AD was clueless. Hopefully AD will open up, before he lost the best thing he never had.
The bitter baby's mothers in this series, just didn't know their place. Karson had really been pushing every button that Kahleno had and I'm surprised that she was still alive. I knew that Khalil had to be the reason for that, however, Karson was playing with fire. Sunny was just a hot mess, and she needed to move around. I just didn't understand what her purpose was. She was irrelevant at this point, just like Trouble became. I already expressed Ziva, and I'm also disgusted that Mega didn't have more respect for Siya than that.

This family hit some secrets that need to be exposed because they need to heal. Poor Adoree he can't catch a break. I hope Sutton makes it out alright because her father is going to turn into his street name and become a real Maniac. Hudson will not live if his baby dies and the Maler men will have hell to pay. Karson is pathetic, she really needs to get it together for her son. Trouble and Menz along with his dad is about to feel the wrath of messing with this family. I hope Kahleno makes it because his family is about to be in shambles. What in the world did Mega do? Did he have a baby with another woman and let Siya raise it as her own? Poor Piper was dumb as hell, Sutton is better off without her. I hope Icelynn's baby daddy doesn't find her whereabouts before AD can protect her from him. I can't wait till this story unfolds. Good Good!
This follow-up throws you right back into the action an doesn't let up.The couples are on a rollercoaster of a ride to get love and their relationships right.Now I do have to say I'm a little disappointed in Sutton, on the way she's been towards Piper.If her girl had revealed what she new ,would she have taken it and reacted or did what she did in the shower with Trouble.I think she is being just a little to self righteous.I love this dynamic that the couples are giving and how they are towards one another.The antics from the kids are just hilarious,but I think a tone down is in order.I think my favorite couple has to be A D and Icelynn.This couple touches you on something a little bit deeper and the writer captures you with it and holds you.Now this story ends on a cliffhanger witch brought on a fit of screaming,but so looking forward to the next good episode.

OMG
Picked up right where the last installment left off with drama and more drama. Still enjoying the storyline and these characters. This series is getting better and better and I still want more. This book is full of secrets, lies, jealousy with plenty of twist and turns that made it a great read. I can't wait for Trouble, Menz and Senior to get exactly what they deserve. Piper is going to learn the hard way. Karson, is desperate and delusional. Loving the chemistry between Cassidy and Key and can't wait to read more about them. Poor AD is really going through all kinds of emotions and he needs to talk with someone.....and before he pushes Icelynn away. I love Sutton and Kahleno together and hopefully, they'll work everything out. That ending definitely had my mouth wide open....can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Job well done Nikki Brown.

Excellent
Nikki Brown did a excellent job writing this series. Her characters were on point. It wasn’t over the top and the drama was there but to a minimum. I had a very hard time putting this book down to the point that I’m at work and sneaking to finish a chapter. Which was not good because then I’m sneaking to read the next chapter when I should be working. Believe me when I tell you that’s not me! When I’m at work I work.
As I have said before I can’t stand reading reviews because some people don’t know how to write a review without giving away the story. BUT! I will tell you this you will not be disappointed reading this series. Allow Nikki to take you on this journey with these characters. You will love some characters & hate others.

Is all I can Munster up to say, I like this book and the characters....I love men in charge 😍 Sutton is a regular chic hard working wants to be happy. Unfortunate for her her fiancé is. Bum but she loves him and has loyalty to him so she allows him to treat her so foul. But she soon captures the spirit of the most wanted bachelor and she couldn’t stop it if she wanted. Fate brought them together ... Kathleen Maler is the epitome of sexy chocolate and every girl with a heartbeat want him...... the pair both have baggage to get rid if let’s hope that Bagua doesn’t stunt this relationships growth.

That was a cliffhanger now I got wait for next part. I'm Praying for the Maler family. I gave five stars cause this book was fast pace and packed with drama. The last 4 chapters had my heart racing. Piper is still slow. Karson is so thirsty. Adoree storyline real picked up this book. Cassidy is still a mystery but he my have a boo.
Kahleno and Sutton have me talking to my kindle. Icelynn seems to be strong and good friend. Siya and Mega need they but whip for holding that secret. Part 3 please hurry I need answers

Why, just why!
I held on to the last 9 percent of this book, trying my hardest not to read it. I shouldn’t have! I need part 3 like now. That is NOT how you do people, Nikki! It’s not. Now you got me all in my feelings because I don’t know what’s gon’ happen with my husband and his side chick, and now my brother’s world is about to be turned upside down. I think Siya about to flip a screw for real. Just why, Nikki, why? I am beyond ready for part 3. Definitely a page turner and kept me engrossed from beginning to end.

Just keeps getting better and better. I can’t believe that Khaleno would listen to Karson like that knowing that she want to be with him and would do anything to be with him. Look at AD coming out of his shell but if he don’t talk to someone about his childhood he will never be able to get past it and be the man that Icelynn need. I hope that icelynn ex doesn’t come for her i like her. Cassidy don’t know what he want let see if Key can’t tame him or piper but piper a lost cause she allow men to get in her head can’t wait for part 3

I just can't wait till book 3. And I know kal and Sutton dad omg finna paint this city RED. sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating on popcorn while waiting on the next book

I knew it I knew it! I knew that's what the secret was going to be about. Now his head really about to be messed up. Karson need to go somewhere I'm so sick of her miserable messy butt. I really thought kahleno was smarter than that. Hudson really about to mad now and I got a feeling we gone see maniac return in book 3. Piper is just dumb and I'm over her. I can't wait for book 3!!!!!!!

This series just keeps getting better. Ice needs to tell AD about her past ASAP. That Karson is damn crazy as hell, she is going to die trying to create this delusional family. I hope Sutton is okay, she has been through enough. Kahleno should have known better. That ending was intense, can’t wait to see this secret Mega and Siya been holding on to. This series is a must read.

I knew AD was my favorite character for a reason
I love all the craziness that is wrapped up in this story. The ending was perfect and left you wanting more. I can’t believe it. Khalil little bad ass needs his butt whooped but he’s the cutest thing. I can’t wait for Sutton and Kahleno to get past all of this. It was so many times I wished Kahleno would’ve just shot or strangled Karson and got it over with. Her and Trouble are becoming the biggest pain in my ass

Book 2 was just full of more goodness. Sutton is perfect for K and it’s obvious how much he loves her. He lets his ex plant bs into his head and messes up his future with Sutton. Meanwhile, her ex is digging a deeper hole. My heart goes out to AD and Menz for what they endured as children. If only these men would open up to the love of a good woman and healing!

AD has a lot going on.. I love the storyline and tour delivery was on point you did just that

Wow that ending
Well Hudson was right about Sutton not ending up like her mother nova. Trouble is out to hurt Kahleno at any cost risking Sutton and her baby in the process. I hope Sutton and Kahleno is okay poor AD secret is out. How is Mega and Siya going to fix this. Hurry up part 3.

Omg I was not expecting that ending at all...This is most definitely a must read series. I don’t know who I’m loving the most...I can’t wait to find out all the dirty little secrets...I would give you 10 stars if I could...you never disappoints your fans...I can’t wait to read part 3...

I loved pt 2! The storyline only got better. Sutton and Icelynn are the best and I love them. Piper can go play in traffic. Kahleno and Adoree done got on my bad side and I hope they can redeem themselves. I'm so looking forward to all the drama that's about to pop off in pt 3. Good read!

That ending was so unexpected! I don't like this Ziva chic already and I've been sick of Karson! I wish Piper would've been a horrible friend and put a man before he friendship.I was hopefully that she and Cassidy was going to happen but I see he and Key on to something and I like it. Also sick of Menz Sr, Jr, and Trouble. Hope at Icylann and AD workout.

Karson really made an ass out of herself with that duck ass move she made trying to pin another baby on Kahleno. I hope him and Sutton are ok and no one got shot. AS can't catch a break can be i wish he would talk with someone about the abuse and his parents should have told him the truth about his paternity.

Great Read!
This was a page turner and will keep you on edge. I hate what happened to Adoree when he was younger because that has played a major role in the way that he lives life and comes off on people. I really hope that he can get through his pain in part 3 of the series but with that surprise visitor at the end of part 2, I don't know which way this will go.

Continued excellence
The wonderful, amazing storyline continues. As the character development unfolds we get to see why these Maler men behave the way they do. Sutton’s character reminds us that true love is not easy, but certainly worth the fight. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
