I enjoyed the story overall but the ending seemed rushed. Oliver just changed his outlook in a snap which I didn't buy; would have been better if he'd gotten well and dealt with Diana differently until the festival then changed. Anyway, cute story that could've been a bit better.

Sunshine and storm clouds!

I really enjoyed this book and it would have been 5 stars, however we have the name change thing happening again, Caddie becomes Dawn and back to Caddie...not even similar!
Diana and Oliver are such a sweet couple, both have experienced tragedy and loss, Oliver has lost himself in his grief and Diana is running, can they help each other to heal?
Caddie is amazing! I loved her, she is totally inappropriate and interfering but full of love and hope!
An enjoyable Kindle Unlimited read.

Sweet love out of Tragedy

Diana needed to get away from her cruel father. He was forcing her to marry a man twice her age for the promise of money. Oliver lost his wife and love of his life two years ago to a fever. Oliver's little sister thinks she is helping when she sends for a mail order bride for O!iver. What could go wrong? Everything!
There are many twists and turns to this story and it kept me reading. Susannah Calloway tells a true story of the dangers and hardships of running a cattle ranch in the late 1800's.

Uplifting sweet story

I really enjoyed this book. For one thing the characters seem real! It is like you can see them. This writer has a talent in bringing her characters to life. About a couple who have both tasted loss in different ways, but find joy in each other! A very sweet, clean read.

Even rich people need love. Her mom and her were good people. But her dad was after money only. He was cruel, mean, and controlling. He was going to sell his daughter for a business favor. But then there was a lively letter that lead to tragic but good circumstances for HEA

Short HEA

A young lady heads West as a mail-order bride with her mother's help. It is a shame that a younger sister placed the ad for an unsuspecting groom who does not want to wed!

Cute

Diana fled an abusive home to be a mail order bride the gentleman's sister sent for. How will that work out? Generally enjoyable but unhappy with the ending.

Bittersweet

The world is rough on tender hearts. I love how the good people on this earth still manage to bring rays of hope and goodness. This is one of those stories.
