Ashe Romanoff is now open and known as the revolution leader. In this epic conclusion of the Arctic Shifter Novella Series Ashe must accept her fated mate in order to become stronger, master her magic, and defeat the red shifter line opposing her.
Kaylin Peyerk is a lover of badass fantasy heroines and the sexy men who feel lucky to love them. She has five full bookshelves, a bursting Kindle library, and a total love for the written word. When she's not crouched over the computer like a gremlin, you can find her curled up in a nest of blankets with a well-loved book, her two corgis Link & Gannon, and a steaming cup of hot cocoa...
Arctic Royal, Arctic Shifters book three is another GREAT book by Kaylin Peyerk! I have absolutely loved the Arctic Shifters spin-off of the High Fae Academy series. Kaylin blended the magic of the Fae community with wolf shifters and created a new ice magic only seen in the Arctic Shifters. Ms Peyerk shows us that even royalty must fight for what they believe in. I hope to read more about the shifter communities as well as the Fae and other supernaturals we met in Ms Peyerk’s books.
The book was ok, although the authors writing style is a bit abrupt and juvenile. The thing that bothered me was that this is NOT a reverse harem book. I was directed to this book through a RH giveaway with the first book free. I thought it was a RH and I was excited to discover she has two soulmates! Then it all goes downhill when she chooses one and tells the other to leave and never return. He tells her he will always love her then leaves, the end! What a horrible ending!!! Especially for someone like me who loves RH, this breaks my heart. Horrible.
That ending! What an absolute kick in the feels, a certain fae is honestly becoming my favourite character within these worlds and I want to give him everything he could ever want. I swear he just gets kicked in the nuts in every book he's in so far. On the whole, the third novella in the High Fae Academy series was a brilliant read, and I read it in just one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. It's great to see the world that exists just outside of the High Fae Academy and the politics of that world. With a perfect blend of shifters and magic, the third book of this series is a great round-up.
Now if Kaylin Peyerk wouldn't mind writing a novella or even a series based entirely on Octavius, I'd be totally okay with that. Seriously he's adorable and I just want to know everything about him that we haven't already discovered in the other two series.
3.5 stars *ARC received in exchange for an honest review*
Arctic Royal by Kaylin Peyerk is book 3 in the Arctic Royal novellas. I have not had the opportunity to read the previous 2 books before reading this as I believed it was initially a standalone (oops). Although I felt like I was missing quite a large chunk of the story this was a well developed good read with tension, steam and mystery. The book was well written and easy to read and I would recommend to any fantasy fan. I can’t wait to see where Kaylin takes the secondary characters as it seems she has set up for a spin off series. Overall, I would recommend to any YA fantasy or fantasy in general fans.
Arctic Royals is another amazing book by Kaylin Peyerk! Wow! I have really enjoying getting to know Ashe, Varus, and Octavius! Ashe is an independent, strong, fiesty arctic wolf shifter. Varus is a hot red wolf shifter. Octavius is a hot fae from the Academy. The connection between these three is definitely a complicated one. I was instantly drawn into their lives and thoroughly enjoyed how the characters and their relationships evolved. There are so many surprises, twists, and turns throughout this book that I didn't want it to end. The last couple chapters stirred up so many emotions and the ending was definitely unexpected. I highly recommend Arctic Royal.
We come to the epic conclusion of this story and let me say it was amazing. We find out what she chooses. So much happens in a short time but she gets it done. She makes alliances and she listens to her heart. She has to assert her dominance with some other shifters and learns how to wield her magic. There is steamy moments and then and then there is action. The battle that was coming comes to a conclusion and it was amazing. However, I am not sure how I feel about what happened afterward. I hope that something else comes from this series. I really liked this one.
Finished this trilogy on audible today at work. Was a good story. It ended good. Ash finally admitted that she has a mate now she just has to tell him. She’s getting better at her powers. Every thing is going good on gathering allies. Now it’s time to go to war. She has a plan for it. But her plan doesn’t get to be put into action. The king she is supposed to go to war with shows up where she is. Now it’s time for war. It’s a battle to end all battles. Will Ash defeat the king and take the throne as the queen? Read the book to find out.
An amazing conclusion to a fantastic novella set. This book kept me enthralled all the way to the last page. I love the complexity between the characters and how they've grown so much. And I love how it all ended. Plus I got to see into the past of one of my favorite characters in Kaylins High Far Academy series, so bonus there! Worth the read all the way!

Arctic Royal: Fated Mates Shifter Romance (Arctic Shifters Book 3) by Kaylin Peyerk is a story I want to shout out to everyone that I LOVED THIS STORY!!!!! IT IS A MUST READ!!!!. I can not wait to read what this awesome author will write about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
I absolutely loved Arctic Royal! This book kept me on the edge of my seat as Ashe a wolf shifter, finds herself as the new queen, and is thrust into a possible war and romantic relationships. Who will she choose as her mate...the wolf shifter, or hot guardian Fae? Will she be able to gain the respect of the tribe leaders, so they can follow her into war? This book is definitely a must read!
I absolutely love this authors writing and stories and this one is no different. I love this series so much. Really enjoyed these characters a lot and just couldn't get enough of this at all. Ashe was so freaking amazing
I throughly enjoyed this little series. This novella was written brilliantly, with passion, action and magic! I love Ashe's character and her development, she really shines through all the way to the end!
Ashe is back and she is Queen. It is up to her to protect all of the shifters from the evil King. She also needs to accept her mate. Ashe does all of this and more.
Ashe leads the rebellion against the red wolf king. Each village is given a different part to do. Varus declaires his love and devotion and Ashe returns it.
I am falling in love with all of these characters. I normally don’t say this, but I can see myself in Ashe. Loving one and wanting another. Denying love because of her independence. She had a hard choice that was fairly simple, but that is life. Then again having three souls can put a wrench into things. She is strong and knows how to be queen, even when she doesn’t have all the answers. As always, this is a great read and couldn’t put it down. Made me want to get up and make time to read.
Ashe is now Queen of the castle but there's still a war brewing. She must travel the kingdom's to gather troops to put her plan to stop the Red King into action. But can she convince them all to stand by her side and can she stop the war for once and for all with as little loss of life as possible? Then there's her love life and the choice she must make but is struggling to decide. I felt the story was very intriguing all the way along but felt a bit disappointed with the ending ~ on the final showdown and then with how she solved her love triangle, but still an enjoyable read.
