Hello! It's me again, Trixie Lavender and my best demon friend the stoic but adorable Coop.Things have been going pretty great for us these days. Inkerbelle's Tattoos is doing well financially. Our clientele is growing by the day, and we're about to purchase the guest house we’ve been living in from our dear friend Knuckles. Finally, we'll have the roots we've so desperately yearned for. Now, if only we could figure out how to get rid of the troublesome demon inside me...We’ve also been focusing on Coop and her efforts to live her best life. As a newb to Earth, she’s on a quest to experience as much as she possibly can and that includes her latest passion, makeup. While attending an event for Coop’s favorite beauty guru and online superstar Glitzy Mitzy, we watch in horror as she dies right before our very eyes.Naturally, we suspect foul play, but with no clues, and the police not calling Mitzy's death a murder, we have little to go on. But does that stop me? Nah. So you know what that means—it’s time to break out our best spyware and solve this murder!

Great addition to the series ❤️❤️ When is a murder not a murder but is a murder? When Trixie and the gang is involved. This time the gang is all into the world of makeup courtesy of Coop’s adoration of a social media makeup star. Attending that star’s appearance. She proceeds to drop dead. But was she murdered? The cops don’t think so! Coop and the gang do.
Trixie decides to investigate to appease Coop and herself. Coop learns the hard lesson regarding the real people behind the public facades ( sometimes they’re just not nice); and everything/everyone is never as it appears.
In other news, Higgs and Trixie are moving forward, slowly in their relationship (so cute) now that he knows her secret and Higgs wants to help her learn about her inner demon.
This was fun, engaging, hilarious, touching, with endearing characters that you just want to hug!
The Final Episode Things have been going pretty great for us these days. Inkerbelle's Tattoos is doing well financially. Our clientele is growing by the day, and we're about to purchase the guest house we’ve been living in from our dear friend Knuckles. Finally, we'll have the roots we've so desperately yearned for. Now, if only we could figure out how to get rid of the troublesome demon inside me. We’ve also been focusing on Coop and her efforts to live her best life. As a newb to Earth, she’s on a quest to experience as much as she possibly can and that includes her latest passion, makeup. The final book is sad but happy. The culprit is a grief stricken mother who lost her daughter to suicide. She killed the person that she held responsible. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.
What A Nunderful World where a possessed former nun, her demonic pals and a hunky former cop take on the glitzy world of make-up you tube mavens as one of their one dies on Trixie’s turf. This is a fantastic addition to the series. I love seeing Trixie and Coop growing into their new lives.
Another great book in this series. Trixie sure manages to get herself into some interesting situations. I love the whole cast of characters. Already looking forward to the next book :)
4.5 Stars... Who knew the world of make-up could be so cut throat??? Trixie soon discovers all the lingo surrounding social media gurus as well as the vicious nature one can possess in their climb to the top... When Coop's newest idol, a make-up connoisseur, falls dead in front of them, Trixie attempts to find justice for her and save her vulnerable friend from a serious case of the blues... As Trixie learns to navigate this confusing and confounding world, she soon learns not everyone is who they appear to be in a world of make believe... This one certainly kept me guessing until the very end... Another intriguing mystery in this unique and fun series:)
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! This was a great book ! Trixie and Cooper are back. Coop has a new passion: Makeup On an beauty event, they watch a presenter die right in front of them. What are they to do ? It is time for them to solve another mystery. Loved the characters + the storytelling ! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! I can't wait for the next book in this series.
This series to me is so unique with its cast of characters and the unique dilemmas they face along the way. The character development from book to book is fantastic! The big mystery is always wrapped up by the end, but there are sub plots and back stories that carry from one installment to the next. I highly recommend that you pick up this series, but do so I'm order.
Coop has become smitten with a makeup artist and utube star
Tragedy follows in the wake of a popular influencer - and it turns out she is worse than not so nice
unraveling the worlds of mean girls and social media personalities, the gang is left with exploring the dynamics of the family they built together and working towards lightening some of their baggage
drama packed interactions and insightful friends and family connections and challenges
I absolutely loved this series it just keeps getting better and better. It has a everything you need for a enjoyable and entertaining read. I highly recommend that you one click this series but make sure you read them in order to get a better understanding of the stories. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Another fantastic story of our beloved Trixie and Coop. Just adore these characters and their development. The writing is really lovely and fun and I’m learning all about the kids lingo in this one, I really hope they don’t go spoiling ‘tea’ on me...
I only gave this book 4 stars because the middle of the book was about questioning all the suspects and seemed to go nowhere. There were no funny Coop moments in this book so a little boring. But the end was very good. I didn’t figure out the murderer so that was good.
With my favourite ex nun with a stripper name and her demon pals, talking dogs and owls. This one takes p!ace not just in hippest Portland but the world of 'influencers. Chilling. :p
Gutted I’ve caught up with author on this series can’t wait for next instalment only thing I can say is you need to read this woo hoo what a ride love it. Enjoy
Well, I am certainly glad I’m not a fan girl of social media stars. It sounds like Dakota captured the craziness of it all. This is almost a locked room mystery. And every sentence I can think of is a spoiler, so I’ll just say good job Trixie.
I loved this whole series! I was very excited to see what happened next on their road trip, but I was disappointed to find out there won't be another story.
WOW. This twist though!!! Not gonna lie, full on cheered on the murderer when I found out her motive. But then as the crazy showed, I had to be out again. But daaaaaaang. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
