Their parents will find out. Alexis’ and Gabriel's childhood ends in violence, but what else would you expect from Bethany Anne’s children? Zenith station offers the lessons. Conquering the curriculum may be easy. Being true to yourself? Not so much. Now the twins must risk it all to save the innocent. Perhaps humorous cursing, but cursing, nevertheless. If this offends you, we don't suggest reading this book.
I absolutely enjoyed the entire story of the twins and their crew. So much like Bethany and Michael's team. Now they are all grown up. That escalated quickly. I hope in the future that this writing duo does more stories with Gabriel and Alexis.
I have been in love with The Kurtherian Endgame since it was first recommended to me on Zon. A fantasy/paranormal saga that branched into space?!?! I was so on board. Michael Anderle had me caught, hook, line, and sinker, from the get-go and I've happily followed along since. His world broadened so much and so widely, that other authors branched into his world. One such as N.D. Roberts who co-authored this one. Their voices mingled into a true harmony to tell the coming-of-age for Alexis, Gabriel, Trey, and K’aia as they are prepared to take their places and make their own marks. The way the twins had to age up so fast due to their genetic make-up and the choices presented to them to shape them were told amazing in my reader's opinion. I mean, they couldn't stay babies with the amount of power they held and the war around them. Those of us already entrenched in the Kurtherian universe are familiar with what is happening & how the quad is so well written that they are alive in my mind's eye. But to have a slew of NPCs that to my gamer's mind are just placeholders meant to move a story along yet were evolved beyond that, just blew both my gamer and reader collective minds. The pacing was perfect, not sluggish, not fast. World development was spot on as always because I was there with them. Character development was, as I alluded to already, was simply perfection. It was both a pleasure and sad to see this spin-off end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this second book about the twins, Alexis and Gabriel Nacht.
As BA and Michael planned for them, they are growing up well, and learning all they can, in order to help their parents to defeat the Seven - those clans of Kurtherians, who are hell bent on turning every species they come across, into a part of their fighting order - except Humans, of course, who they have learnt, very much to their cost, will never accept a Kurtherian dominance over them.
I'm really enjoying getting to know the almost grown twins, and their companions, friends, and fellow warriors, Trey, the Baka that they befriended, and helped to gain back his crown and K'aia, the Yollin who stands guard over the twins - when they let her
The development of their powers was great to read about, and I'm so hoping that there will be other books following this one, to show us what plans BA has for them in the battle to overcome Gödel and her subservient Kurtherians.
Until then, though, and according to my reading list, my next book to read is book two of the series Quantum Legends: Bitch of a Paradox!
What a wonderful way to spend the day; reading about Alexis, Gabriel, Kaia & Trey as they venture forth as teens & return as men & women. Maturity was bought with sweat, tears & the undeniable growth in confidence shows how these kids "earned their stripes" & became forced to be reckoned with! BA & Michael are so proud!
Nay, please keep writing. I'll keep reading your books; you are talented.
Alexis and Gabriel continue their time in the game, learning real life skills to help them once they emerge. We see them being creative, pushing their limits, learning to make wiser decisions, and effectively working as a team with not only Trey and K’aia but also the NPCs. And what a suspenseful ending!
Three stars . First time I've ever given less than five to a Michael Anderle book. I love the Zoo series , the Bethany Anne stories and the Brownstone family. There just wasn't the same level of action /adventure in this book. . Half way in and nothing exciting. Happening. Sorry , just my opinion , glad it's the last book in this series , though
Robert’s and Anderle have added depths to the characters that just makes you feel like you know them. The growth of Alexis, Gabriel, Trey and K’aia help bring them to adult maturity and I’m sure we will see them in future books in the fight against the Kurtherians. Fantastic job by the authors!
This book actually had my heart racing and my body all tensed up the more I read. Excellent story with action scenes that are exciting and different! You never know what can happen when dealing with the etheric, and in this story both Alexis and Gabriel are becoming masters of the etheric in order to protect their world. It's awesome! 🐝✋🐺
5 years and I lost count of how many books and it just keeps getting better with every episode. Ad Aternatatum. May God bless all the wonderful authors!!!!!
Of all the books I read those set within the inner nacht family are the ones that most appeal - this one was no exception - a first class culmination of the Out Of Time series.
Great story. Great editing. Great action. Even better than the first book. A really great conclusion! For fans of military sci-fi and paranormal stories. One of the BEST spin offs from The Kurtherian Gambit / Endgame. I'm so sad it's so short!! TW.
Awesome story about the twins coming off age. Great read and as usual I lived reading this book from the Nacht Series. The twins are coming into their own power just like their parents and have created a great team to assist them in they endeavors.
The twins and crew really mature in this book. They face the Game Boss. Are they ready to face real life? It is supposed to be the end of the spin off but I wouldn't be disappointed if it continues. I want to see them handle real world problems.
I Love how the characters come together and fight for what's right no matter how hard. They are showing us that All lives what and separation means failure for all. Best of all it teaches that lesson in a "entertaining" say that I can enjoy.
Book one and two are great little side books to read in between books 6 and 7 of The Kurtherian Endgame. I really enjoyed read of the kids growing up. Thanks again for your imagination Wendy
As with every book in this series,it was hard to put down. The stresses and strains of a. Video Game which is also set in the series is astounding in its brilliant portrayal of the two young people and there team x
By putting Bethany Anne and Michaels into a simulator they get full training in a compressed time scale. They grow and develop abilities in a relatively safe environment. Good, can't put it down, read.
The twins are finally reaching their full potential as the simulation winds down. The final raid on the Kutherians attestation brings it all to a head.
This is an offshoot of another series. Loved getting the vid doc story from the twins perspective. Would like to see more of their life since getting out.
An excellent addition to the Kurtherian Gambit Universe. The twins follow in BA and Michael's footsteps and prove that they can bring the pain when it's needed. Awesome read!
