What’s worse than being snowbound? Try being snowed in with vampire hell-bent on revenge.

The supernatural hotspot known as Wolf Mountain has transformed into a winter wonderland, and newbie witch Natalie Wilder has been busy preparing the lodge for its best ski season yet.

The lifts are running, the restaurant is bustling, and the lodge is booked solid. Everything is going perfectly until a famous travel writer is found dead on the ski lift in the most unusual way—frozen, drained of blood, and sporting two telltale tooth marks hidden under the collar of his jacket.

To make matters worse, a record-breaking snowstorm is on the way, and Natalie knows she doesn’t have much time to follow the clues to identify and apprehend Wolf Mountain’s most notorious vampire.

With the help of an arrogant werewolf, a handsome horror writer, and her snarky talking dog, Natalie will stop at nothing to protect the guests of her lodge from a fate worse than death.

Book two in the continuation of this awesome series. We heard from Dean (🤔 not to sure about him yet) telling Natalie about The Old One (I thought it warranted capitals at the beginning of the name🤷‍♀️😁) and how he was coming to kill her. Buuuuut does she listen... well no because it would be a very short story. A lodge, a vacation site specialist, the nearly ex wife, a storm and The Old One that no one seems to know what he/she looks like. 2 bodies are found and the vampires seem to love compelling people to do their bidding. It’s up to Natalie and the rest to find who it is and stop them. A few giggles erupted with some of the antics going on. A great read and I can’t wait for thy e next book. My daughter have also loved the first book and are eagerly anticipating this release.

Book Two in this series and I loved this book. Natalie has a lodge full of people when a snowstorm strands everyone at the lodge for a couple of days. There is also a vampire hell bent on revenge for being turned by an old vampire. There are secrets that need to be uncovered when one of the guests is murdered. Will everyone else come out by the time the roads get cleared on Wolf Mountain or will someone else bit the dust?

Natalie is building up the ski lodge and business is increasing. A key critic is coming to review the lodge. When a murder occurs, Natalie tries to find the murdered. The murderer just happens to be the Old One. The vampire who has been the source of trouble at Wolf Mountain for years.

I enjoyed this second book in this series. The characters are developing nicely.

A great read

I thought this was even better than the first book. Better start with book 1! For the character development and the over-arching storyline that’s being built up from book to book, it’s better to read book 1 first. This is promising to be a great series! I especially like Benjamin, Natalie’s dog familiar. Ooh he’s so snarky. Looking forward to see what the author has in store next!

Natalie is trying to promote her Wolf Mountain Ski Lodge by having a famous reviewer come up for a special event. Everything that can go wrong - does. There are snow storms, murders, very old vampires and a touch of romance. What more could you want? This is the second book of the series, which is getting better and better with each book.

This was just awesome! There were so many red herrings that it kept me on my toes and kept me from seeing who the real Old One was! This was well thought out and I loved all the details! I REALLY love Benjamin’s snarky personality!
