A bit simplistic, but overall very enjoyable, and a delightful read! Made so many lovely and endearing aspects of my Scandinavian ancestors make more sense. Also changed my Scrooge-like perspective on hating winter and cold to learning how to love it and weather it well.

This was my first introduction to hygge, and although the information was good, the writing style is very....it reads like how one would expect a book about how to be a hipster would sound. I feel very weird about the word "hygge-ly".

It might spell Danish Happiness, but not sure black clothes and an abundance of wood is necessarily the great secret, but I am in favor of a good bike ride.
