I continue to marvel at Kae Tempest and their approach to music and spoken word and stories; connections.

While Let them Eat Chaos is a microcosm, seven strangers at 0418 on a single street in London, this is more macro from the biblical passport artwork to the repetition of the increasing seven billion.

This is far closer to their spoken word than his previous narrative concept albums. It's also reads as their most hopeless and hopeful expression

A powerhouse of a voice, a woman, an observer of human life and our vulnerable needs.

Loved much of this. Might be my favorite Kae stuff I have heard although still scratching the surface. Not sure this counts as a "book" but its very good.

This is not a book. In fact, I got it on vinyl. I liked it a lot. Kate is talking with me and to me. Thought provoking and dynamic.
