Shanay and Monee were thick as thieves since high school, even though they took two different paths in life. With the girls so different, they only have one thing in common. They are in love with the same man. Shanay Thomas is thirty years old with everything a woman in her thirties can want and need. She has her own money and has no intention of falling in love but when she lets Dominic in her world, all that changes. Monee is one of those women who will get it by any means. No matter what it takes. Not willing to ever lose sight of the almighty dollar, Monee has gone from stripping to escorting. After growing feelings for one of her clients, she’s shocked and appalled to find out who he’s linked to. If that isn’t bad enough, being in the same space as him and his wife can get them both caught up. When it comes down to it, what will these best friends choose? Will Shanay choose her man over her down ass homegirl? Or, will their relationship even survive?

Really Quick and easy read. Dom what a dummy... Did not know Wifes friend, and was sleeping with her, before the wife invited her to a threesome. Monee had some serious mental issues. Shanay had some serious issues with her own self esteem. glad they got themselves together, after Monee went on a spree. Sad that her mom,had to bury both her children, all while in a home... Good Job Robin
Friends, how many of us have them! Why did Shanay feel guilty about what happened to Monee. Monee knew what she was doing after she found out about who Dom was. If she was really a true friend , she would have told Shanay about sleeping with her husband. This is a great story about a one sided friendship.
This was some wicked shit. I wasn't prepared for her to die. But she had that shit coming. She should have left well enough alone. Glad those two got on wit their life. Divine not always needy sometimes you gotta feel it your mind and not your heart.
