This compelling new autobiography, 180 Degrees, demonstrates just how sincere these words can be. This book is an invaluable resource for anyone who has given up hope for themselves, or for a loved one who is self-destructing through substance abuse. Téa Leoni, "The story you share of struggling with drug addiction is captivating and disturbing, but most importantly, the success you have found after achieving sobriety is awesome and inspiring for anyone wishing the same." When I first saw the cover for 180 Degrees and read the description images of Benjamin Bratt carrying an addict from a burnt out crack house raced through my mind. I was a big fan of The Cleaner and sorry to see it go. The stories of Bratt’s character giving everything of himself and the people around him to give the down-and-out addicts every chance at getting clean were compelling and made me root for these people – whom I didn’t know in any way.

While reading Robert’s book, I felt that way for him. I found his story compelling and genuine. His descriptions of the moments, the passage of time and how far the climb from druggie teen to sober millionaire really was is nothing short of inspiring for anyone – whether you struggle with addiction or simply love to feel the charge that comes at the end of that movie when the person you were rooting for gets their just desserts. Robert pieces it out for the reader and then puts it all back together for them.

Whether you are looking for inspiration or just a compelling true story, 180 Degrees is the answer for the question, “What’s your excuse?”

This was hard to read, but very worth my time. The style of writing was easy... it was just the content that was hard to read. I'm glad I got through the book, because the ending was very inspiring. I should re-read the last chapter a few times.

Good job Robert! Your story is inspiring. Keep being an inspiration.

"No matter how far down the drug or alcohol rat hole you go, there is hope, a way out and the possibility of creating a life of your dreams: spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially.

This compelling new autobiography, 180 Degrees, demonstrates just how sincere these words can be. An inspiring true-story of a once homeless, teenage drug addict who was able to achieve sobriety and ultimately become a self-made millionaire by the age of 30."

Robert shares his extraordinary journey from one extreme of the human condition to the other, literally changing his life 180 degrees. His journey is a powerful rags to riches' story of despair, hope and triumph.

180 Degrees begins with an engrossing depiction of life as a teenage drug addict. As Robert's dependency becomes ever more apparent, the trials, tribulations and consequences of addiction consume and begin to bury him. His excessive consumption takes control and his life spirals downward, giving the reader a view into the insidiousness of drug addiction and the sleazy, unscrupulous lifestyle that accompanies it. Rob leads his audience through the despondency afflicting him before reaching that pivotal moment of when he decides to change his life.

No longer capable of controlling or debating his drug addiction, Robert slowly reclaims his life by getting honest, willing and eventually completely sober. With determination, inexhaustible effort, and applying the invaluable lessons learned from twelve-step programs, 180 Degrees shows how anyone can achieve a life of serenity and prosperity. Culminating in a step-by-step process, readers gain insight and valuable tools which they can employ for their own success.

This book is an invaluable resource for anyone who has given up hope for themselves, or for a loved one who is self-destructing through substance abuse.
