Perhaps this is how it should have been all along. Perhaps, Theseus was doomed to kill the man he loved. And perhaps, that’s exactly what the world needed.
A modern, gay retelling of Theseus and the Minotaur, set in the We were Gods universe. This book features over 80 chapters, some of them in prose, some of them in traditional novel structure. It is a tragedy about two boys falling in love, growing into men that hate each other, destined to fight.
Ramona Meisel is an artist, writer and mythology nerd living in Germany. She’s a strange human hybrid of mended bones and a soul ripped apart at the edges. Her tongue is sharp enough to cut and her mind keen enough to bleed. When she’s not haunting the net she’s perfectly content to lose time in prose and poetry.
This one was so different from the other ones!! I really liked it, I couldn't stop from reading, wondering what was going to happen. I love how all the stories references greek tragedy and all follow this "trope". Once again, I love Ramona Meisel's writing and stories so much.
