We all have activities that irritate us, bore us, and drain our energy. The problem is thinking that this is just a necessary part of life and business. In this book, I show you a simple process to shed those unwanted activities to not only free yourself up to concentrate on what fascinates and motivates you but to strengthen your team as well. Imagine spending your workdays doing only what you find endlessly fascinating. This is a reality for entrepreneurs who adopt The ABC Model.

I preferred to listen to the book from audible than reading, especially with Dan Sullivan's materials. While the concept is simple (and revolutionary when I apply), the dialogue between Dan and the host was fascinating and where the real gem is. I am keen to establish my quarterly ABC and constantly evolve it.
Muy recomendable es exactamente lo que me estaba doliéndome, muy recomendable. Definitivamente todo está en la forma de de organizarse y aquí te dice cómo! El problema es el cómo
Another book that helps you answer the question, "What are you made to do?"
I love the idea of focusing on what you're good at. I'm not sure if Dan is a Christian or not, but if the Kingdom gets more bang for it's buck when you're doing the things you are good at (and I believe it does Ecclesiastes 5:20), then you should focus on those things as much as you can.
That being said, I also believe that the best specialists start out as generalists. Classical education at both the K-12 and college levels lay an amazing foundation for becoming a well-rounded person who knows themselves and knows how they can best fit into the Body (1 Cor 12).
The ABC model will help me to manage the 25 year framework even better and achieve and enjoy the journey towards my aims. I find it a little harder to eliminate the A activities (irritating ones), or delegate B one (just meh) as a person without a company to trust employees or coworkers with these, but I definitely want to spend more time on my C activities (fascinating) and this motivates me to find ways to do those. In the future in my own company, I will definitely use this model, because when I was an employee I would have needed this kind of thinking, and I want to create a better work environment than I had to work in.
