Damaged
I wake in a dark basement, wearing very little except for the chain around my ankle. My captor sits across from me, his red eyes gleaming in the shadows, shining with the threat of ferocious and uncontrollable lust. He says he’s my savior. He says I’d be dead without him. He’s probably right.

Taken Against Your Will Fantasy Theme
That is the theme of this series. I have not read the other series’s or books from this author so I can’t comment if this is a common theme in their writing or not.
This is a great addition to this series and closes out the series. Each book is a stand alone. The books don’t have to be read in order, but i believe you would have a better experience reading in order. If you don’t read in order it would best to read this book last. You will have a better understanding of who the supporting characters are and the environment- a post apocalyptic America - after a nuclear war between humans and vampires.
Although all the books have a common romantic theme and fantasy each book is truly it’s own story. Not a cookie cutter of the last book as some authors are want to do which is so boring. This series kept me flipping pages wanting to know what happens next.
This author has a talent for writing novellas with an efficiency of writing that is just enough to get a feel for the characters in play. However, there is not a lot of depth to the storyline which is to be expected for a novella. Something has to give in such a short story. The descriptive writing is visually pleasing to the imagination.
The author did a great job continuing with the landscape that began in the first book just adding to it. Then incorporating the other characters from the previous books. This helps build in more depth and continuity throughout the series.
I loved the female H, she is a strong, intelligent character who was willing to fight it out for a better world.
Male H wasn’t an overbearing or overly aggressive. Don’t get me wrong this is a “taken against your will” fantasy theme so I expect the men to be like this in the beginning so I look for what happens further into the book. Where this male character persona balances out.
An significant inconsistency is In Book 1 Isabelle is a Thelsen, in this book she is a Thestral.
I look forward to reading more books from this author.
Editing errors, more than the previous books almost like this was rushed - lots of grammatical and syntax errors. There will be reading stutters, not enough to make me stop reading, but was disappointing. After reading the whole series I wonder if the author speaks English and this was translated or maybe English is the author’s second language.

I really liked Fox and Megan's story. Very exciting and had the danger and suspense I was expecting from it. The romantic scenes were very hot and steamy. I especially liked the touch of kink that was added in. It was light master/slave play during the intimate parts but they were more or less equals at any other times. Fox had a dominate and protective personality that was so sexy. Not like a mindless caveman, just to clarify. Megan had a rough life growing up and thinks it's just gotten that much worse but boy was she in for a surprise. This book had a futuristic, dystopian vibe to it that really flowed well with the plot.

This is my first read by Zara, my second vampire genre read and I am in absolute love with her writing. I can’t say anything else but “Wow” - this author knows how to pack in one heck of a storyline with action and suspense yet weave in romance perfectly. Ohhhh - the scenes between Fox and Megan will melt your kindle for sure.
This is part of a series, but as far as I could tell it can be read comfortably as a stand alone - I want to note that I will definitely be reading the others of this series though and along with Zara’s other works. I have definitely turned into a fan of this genre thanks to Zara and this book!

Damaged: A Dark Vampire Romance (Dark Vampires Book 3)
This was a very deep, action packed story from the very beginning. I had read Book 2 several months ago so was very pleasantly surprised to find this sequel to it. I really enjoy these stories and wish they could go longer but am Still very pleased with this exceptional book.
If you are looking for an intriguing vampire series, this is it!

This book is probably my least favorite in the series there was a lot of flighting scenes with the new war and taking on Megan’s dad. That being said, parts of it was important to the story line of Megan’s and Fox’s dark romance. This is a very fast ready at 150 pages, and just like the rest of her books in the series the steamy adult scenes are done amazing. I did like how in the book you got to see all the characters form the books before and it came together well as a series. I have enjoyed reading this vampire series from Zara and I do plan on reading more of her books in the future.

Highly recommend this unique series!
I wasn't sure how I would feel about this series as it's more of a vampire, post-apocalypse, and Si-Fi combination, but it works! It has great, complex characters, twist and turns, excitement, and if course love and bedroom action. I highly recommend this series!

This is the third book in this series. This is dark vampire romance story that you will enjoy. The story will keep you interested, the characters have sizzling chemistry. Look forward to reading more from this series.

It was okay
I’m sorry but the sex Scenes just sucked and not in a good way. It seems like it was written by a man if you ask me. Like how many times do you need to say virgin pussy or tight pussy? This book was drawn out and wasn’t well thought

Loved this steamy steady paced dominant vampire story. The characters have such great chemistry together and they story is one that drew me in immediately. A wonderful book.

Enjoyable Reading
I have read quite a few of Ms. Novel's books lately and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. If you like romantic paranormal adventure you should enjoy these books all with HEA endings.

Love this trilogy! Couldn't stop til all 3 were finished. The sex scenes were absolutely amazing, but also the story line will have you hooked!
