I am not really sure how to write this review if I am honest I was sorry I agreed to read this as an ARC as I am not overly fond of vampire books but this book really turned my thoughts upside down and smashed them under a big fist, that’s my way of saying that I loved Emilia and Jackson so so so much.
Emilia has decided to move away from her rich family’s influence and attend a college with a clean slate but in her time there she has become withdrawn and retreating in to herself and the day that she spots the hot jock of the campus Jackson her world changes forever in a way that she never saw coming. Within the space of twenty four hours she discovers everything that she thought she knew about her life was nowhere near what she perceived and discovering that she is a guardian an immortal being is more than she knows how to handle. Knowing she needs to escape and find the truth she confront her parents she runs from Jackson but they have a link that can never be destroyed. Emilia is now on the path that she needs but with Jackson’s reappearance in her life she is left with ultimatums from everyone that matters in her life. Can she really make a choice between the love of her life and the love of her parents and can she Finally have control of her future?
Jackson has hoped and prayed for the love of his life to be reborn he has looked for her for the past hundred years but when he spots her in his class things spiral in a way that he cannot control, faced with losing her again only this time not to death he chooses to share a limited amount of their past and the love that they have shared before only to watch her leave him again not once but twice. She is back in his life but this time they are both very different people can they get back what they both once had or have his actions really destroyed the only love he will ever want or need?
This book not only exceeded all of my expectations in more ways than one but opened up the genre to one I would like to read more of in the future. This book was so easy to read and I could not stop until it was finished. Super highly recommended 5 ***** read and I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.

This book was so good!!! I enjoy a good paranormal reading and this book is very unique in its own way. The story in this book had me hook from page one.
The story was so well written, the main and secondary characters were excellent and very engaging and they brought this book to life.
The main characters are Jackson and Emilia, two supernatural beings that are connected in a way i wasn't expecting and their story was phenomenal, their chemistry was off the charts and the interactions they had during the times they were together made dream of a past and a future for them.
I devour this book and I hope Mrs. Catesby makes a series of this because I will like to find out about the stories of those secondaries characters that i love so much.

This is the first of a new type of book for Kat Catesby and I do enjoy her earlier work however after reading this I can clearly see an evolution in her writing and style. She kept up a racing pace throughout the whole book leaving me thirsty to find out what happened next. Perhaps a glimpse into a genre that she clearly enjoys writing about suggesting more to come. There were times reading the book I was thinking ‘what are you doing?’ however I quickly carried on my reading and as always was sated with what happened with the characters. This book has a lot of content and you will find it hard to put down once you get a taste for it. It almost becomes fuel for the soul.
As for the story, it focuses on two main characters Emilia and Jackson two feisty individuals and how their souls and destinies are entwined. You see Emilia learn of her abilities as a Guardian and discovering whole new world of super naturals and Avidites. Deeply connected to a man she has ‘never’ met, being pulled to him from a desperate desire deep within, she learns of what she is. However, her parents and situations keep them a part leaving them both feeling rejected and hurt yet unable to move on from one another. The sexual chemistry is there from the start between the two and is undeniable for both, even though they are of different people. Yet they manage to sort through their feelings and develop as individuals to find their way back to each other. HEA of course and a recommended read, even if the genre isn’t you norm.

I was lucky enough to be introduced via the bookworld to Kat Catesby in 2019 with her books "Her Firefighter, Her Cowboy & Her Boss". I was really unsure how this new type of romance for kat would go, as I love Vampire Books but have yet to read this genre in Erotic Romance.
I want to say thank you to Kat for the introductiion as i really loved these two characters in Jackson and Emilia. I loved how the story covered time for both of them and also how explained how Jackson went through the years coping as he did, at times it made me cranky but i had to admit I understood.
I found Emilia to be so strong walking away as she did after re meeting Jackson at University and then once again when she choose her family and career.
Kat had me reading madly to see what would become of these two and she did not let me down.
I love a sexy ass Vampire who knows just what to do and how to do it when it comes to sex. You just sometimes wish "If only a sexy vampire came my way once lol.
Great reading and I look forward to Kat maybe bringing us more of her Supernatural world.

What an original story! This slow burn romance had me so frustrated at times, but in a (mostly) good way. I couldn’t put it down. And when I did, I couldn’t stop thinking about Emilia and Jackson.
I wasn’t sure if I liked Jackson at first. He seemed like just another obnoxious frat guy. And I was frustrated with him for not fighting harder for Emilia at times. He wins major points for being loyal and waiting for Emilia.
Emilia was a strong, admirable heroine. I was frustrated with her at times, too. Ultimately, the two main characters were great at complementing each other. I couldn’t help but root for them the entire journey.

Captivating
I absolutely loved this paranormal romance it was definitely what I was looking for. It gripped me right from the start and I was entwined and didn't want to let go. The characters were so passionate and held such interest, I fell in love with their historical love story and was rooting for them all the way. Would have loved more, especially when Emilia joined the Corps. Would really love for Kat to write more like this. Will be looking into more of her books.

I liked
Interesting read the angel and the vampire. Jackson and Emilia were not bad together. I felt Jackson was more invested in the relationship at times than Emilia was. It all came together in the end. I liked this book.

I haven’t read many paranormal books but really enjoyed this one. Loved Emilia and Jackson’s story. Will be reading more of Kats books. I can highly recommend this one.

I was lucky enough to receive an eARC of Entwined. What follows is my honest review. I absolutely LOVED this book and was very sad when I got to the end! Kat Catesby writes another phenomenal 5 star read! This is her first paranormal romance novel and y’all it’s absolutely amazing!!! She hooks you in from the very start with a sexy and very steamy prologue and it’s just a taste of how steamy and sexy this novel is.
If you love angst, the steamiest and smuttiest of smut, love, strong female characters, alpha males, and drama, you NEED to read Entwined! If you love to be teased with steamy scenes then this is the book for you!!! There’s no shortage of teasing and steamy smut in this book but the plot is just as amazing!
Emilia and Jackson have a love that knows no boundaries but that doesn’t mean that it comes easy to them. They will go through hell and back to get to each other but it’s soooo worth it!
Emilia and Jackson aren’t the only characters you’ll love. Dee is the friend that we all need and Tristan is rough around the edges but we love him for it. As much as you’ll love those two there’ll be some you’ll just want to throttle.

Entwined is hands down the best book I’ve read in a long time! I couldn’t put it down until I had read every last word and then immediately wanted to read it again!
The strength and complexity of Emilia and Jackson as well as their intense chemistry together capture you right from the beginning and continue to take you on a wonderful journey through the entire book. When they meet in class one day, Emilia is taken with her feelings for Jackson and also the feeling that he seems to have known her already. Their story is one full of passion, love and also heartbreak as Kat weaves a beautiful tapestry of their path to each other. She has included many twists and turns to keep the reader on their toes.
I was enraptured by these characters and the intensity of all of their emotions and experiences. I didn’t want it to end and yet I couldn’t wait to find out what happened at each turn!

Loved this new take on Vampire lore!
Kat Catesby has beautifully combined the familiar with the new, whilst delivering a smoking hot alpha male in Jackson Smoak.
Emilia is a feisty heroine who won't be pushed around and wants to carve her own place in the world. There is no shortage of push and pull between these two characters which are bought to life beautifully in the twists and turns of their story.
Thoroughly recommend to fans of supernatural romance, but also to romance fans in general, there is a lovely balance in the book meaning that if vampires aren't normally your thing then this book will still send your temperature soaring through the interaction of the main characters and their love story.

When I was asked to do a review for Kat's latest book I had mixed feelings about it as it's a paranormal romance. In the past when i've read this genre I have been disappointed no matter how promising the story line was. Now that I've read Entwined all I can say is simply WOW. Kat has done it again.
True love stands the test of time, or does it... Emilia and Jackson's journey to find happiness is far from plain sailing and is simply years in the making. With so many obstacles in their way will they ever find the right path to true happiness.
This is a must read, even if it's not your normal cup of tea. Kat is simply the master of great storytelling and even greater at conveying the depth of all characters especially the main ones. You will not be disappointed with Entwined.

This was one of Kat’s best, I LOVED it, I was a bit sad to see that there was a couple areas where we didn’t know if Jackson and Emilia were going to end up together or not, those areas had me really sad, but I am so glad this one had an HEA ending. I can’t wait to read the next one! Great job on this one Kat.
If I could give this book 10 stars I would! It was one of her bests. I absolutely loved this one! So good! I genuinely didn't want this book to end, and as I got closer to the end, started hoping that it would be part of a series, or that there would be future stories with these characters. If not, I will be content to re-read this book again and again. And there aren't many other books I want to re-read.
I put this book down at 1am this morning, but desperately wanted to keep reading - the story was so well written and engaging. To my mind, this book is how a paranormal romance (or any genre of romance) should be.

I have enjoyed Ms Catesby’s previous works but I wasn’t sure about this one, especially since the story started as Emilia and Jackson in college. I like it when the couple is a little older (what an understatement). But, the more I read (I couldn’t put it down) and the more I learned of Emilia and Jackson’s past, I have found it to be one the best books that I’ve read in quite awhile. There is nothing better than finding a book that exceeds your expectations and gives the reader a lot of enjoyment.

In general I don’t normally read many paranormal books but I received an ARC of this book and am totally hooked on this one by Kat Catesby. The book grabs you in chapter one and doesn’t let you go until the very end. It’s well written, fast paced, and the relationship between Emilia and Jackson is so full of all types of emotions, and hot, hot scenes that it was difficult to put the book down to do even essential things. More like this please!! Thoroughly recommend reading this book

I have not been a fan of supernatural romance stories but this one was great. Kat has taken a supernatural story and a romance, mixed it together and given it a real good shake up, the result is a book that is full of humour, drama, twists and surprises, not the average fairy tale. I would recommend this book for those who love the supernatural as all the bells and whistles are there and also for those who don't, simply as the characters feel more human than not. You will enjoy the story no matter what your preference is.

I loved these two characters Jackson and Emilia and how they responded to one another from the beginning to end .. Their love was so strong no matter the drama or challenges they faced. I haven't read this genre in a while since they tend to be repetitive but Kat had a different take on it and it really worked.
I fell in love with Jackson immediately and could feel his heart ache even though the story wasnt told from his perspective.
This story was so well written and I cant wait to see what else Kat releases in this genre

Intense is the only word to describe this book. The chemistry between Emilia and Jackson is strong from the moment their eyes meet. He knows they have met before in another life but the over powering emotions are confusing for Emilia.
There are many twists and turns for the lovers and they are parted once again .... will they find their way back, read this book and you will find out- it will be the best thing you did!

This is the first trope in this sphere for Ms. Catesby, I've read her other books and they are fabulous, this is just as good. It's about star crossed lovers, Jackson and Emilia. Emilia does not know who she is from a previous life and Jackson can't believe he's found her again. It's a fast paced and heartfelt journey for both, they are both stubborn and it takes them a while to come to terms with their connection. It's an interesting story line and I thoroughly enjoyed the read.

Emilia and Jackson’s was an inferno of desire (yes, that’s a nod to the story lol). Their chemistry is off the charts leaving the readers, myself included, wanting more. Like most people they both have some learning to do to navigate their relationships both past and present. It’s a love that spans time. Can’t wait to see what comes next in this paranormal realm Kat has brought us into. Loved it!

First off, I don’t normally read paranormal books, but since I received this as an ARC from Kat Catesby, and I have read her previous work, I took a chance. Well, let’s just say I was not disappointed, this book was written with so much emotion between Emilia and Jackson. Loved the theme of star crossed lovers, it hooks you in from the very beginning and takes you all the way to the end. A definite read for hopefully a new series.

I’ve read a lot of different paranormal books and Kat’s Entwined was a refreshing change from the usual paranormal world that’s published.
I love that both characters are strong-minded and it’s a pleasure to watch them learn from the past and past actions to move forward.

I received a copy of this book through BookFunnel and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is not usual type of story. It was well written and the characters are wonderful. Very moving story. This is one I would tell you to give it a chance. I did.

My first paranormal romance and what a surprise! I loved it! The struggle that Emilia had to go through because she forgot. I love her sassy ways and then you have the alpha Jackson who’s freaking hot! You’ll love the chemistry between them. The character are entertaining and the plot line was great. The twist and drama ahead keeps you turning the pages so you won’t get bored. A very recommend book to read.
