My review today is on the Romance, Her Billionaire Cowboy Fake Fiance`. This is the sixth book in the McCoy Billionaire Brothers Series. I have really enjoyed this series. Not your normal billionaires but real down to earth cowboys. This is about their sister so it's a little different. This story is well written and humorous. I know you are going to love it.
Caroline McCoy is a billionaire. She's an artist and a shopper, that's what she does. Now her granddaddy is trying to force her to marry Sheriff Jesse James. She'll admit there is an attraction there but Jessie doesn't want anything to do with her or her billions. She refuses and her granddaddy cuts off her money and freezes her accounts. She can't even give to her favorite charity the boys ranch that helps homeless boys. Can she talk Jessie into a temporary marriage?
Sheriff Jessie James is an orphan. He was raised at the boys ranch. The couple that runs the ranch wants to retire and he plans on stepping down as sheriff and taking over the ranch. Suddenly the couple has changed the rules of the take over. The only way he can take over is to be married. He cares about Caroline but has nothing to offer her, she has everything she could ever want. Can he talk Caroline into a temporary fake marriage. Does Caroline's granddaddy have anything to do with the new ultimatum? Can they make this work?
A rough journey of two prideful people, neither one wants to give in. A delightful story of trying to fulfill the rules of the will without killing each other. You need to get this one.
Her Billionaire Cowboy Face Fiancé by Hope Moore McCoy Billionaire Brothers Series Book Six Caroline McCoy's grandfather has her frustrated, angry. Almost as angry as the handsome sheriff has her. Her grandfather will take away her money until she marries. The sheriff doesn't want her because she has money. No way can she win.
Sheriff Jesse James was raised on Mike and Gladys's ranch. A home they opened to foster boys. And now they want to retire and he wants to take over. Keep it running so more boys like him will have a safe, secure home. Only, they suddenly added a stipulation. He needs a wife before he can take over.
Caroline and Jesse know they are attracted to each other...and yet, can't close the chasm that separates them. They've learned to deal with each other by sparring with words. They figure they'd end up killing each other if they give in and get married...even if for three months. But, they need each other to keep what they want. The ranch...and money to help places like the ranch. Love this story. The previous books in the series all had hints of Caroline and Jesse and it lived up to the hype. Loved it. May want some tissues hand if you cry easily. https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
This was a great story. Caroline was Mr. McCoy’s only great granddaughter and she was pretty much spoiled. It had come her time in the scheme of things Mr. McCoy was forcing his great grands to marry. She had only 30 days to find her match and marry. She had lived Jessie James, the sheriff for a long time now. Jessie loved her too, but she was wealthy and after all, he was just a sheriff. The boys ranch in their town was loosing the owners, Gladys and Mike. Mike’s health was declining they were wanting to retire. Jessie wanted to take over the ranch, since it had been a home to him. He and Caroline married since he needed a wife and she needed a husband. A must read to see how they worked this out , enjoy
Caroline McCoy and Jesse James! What a pair, they both love the boys home Jesse grew up in with Mike and Gladys ever since he was abandoned at the bus station. Caroline lost her parents in a freak plane crash when she was very young. The only difference between them is she comes from money and Jesse can't get over it. Only now not only is her grandfather, but, also Mike and Gladys have conspired against them and made it abundantly clear that they get married and stay that way for three months or he can't get the boys home and she loses her inheritance. What will these two do? Will they go along for three months or will they walk away?
Its difficult to put into words how much I enjoyed this book! I have read this three times and I see things I never put together until I reread it. Its a true miraculous love story! All the issues that come up a truthful and believable from the awesome writer,Hope Moore. I have read two series so far and I will read any thing she writes!
A story that illustrates how dangerous pride is in a relationship. Both held tightly to their ideas stubbornly. They were hurting. Read to learn how they finally gave in.
Two individuals and enough stubborn pride to tear them apart. The town Sheriff and the darling princess of a Uber rich family. The sparks have been around for years. The townfolk saw it. Their friends saw it. Watch Them resolve their problems.
So far Jesse and Caroline’s relationship turned out the most interesting. I knew they would end up happily married, but at what cost. Their journey was a rough and rocky road. I would love a sequel to their settling into a family. I so fell hard for their struggle to find each other.
Another wonderful story. I'm enjoying this series and the balance of interfering with love and happiness. The intricate part of making a marriage and keeping the inheritance.
This is an amazing storyline of how we can get in the way of our own true happiness when we let pride get in the way of unconditional love and understanding.
Caroline was a tough nut to crack but her grandfather almost crushed her in his desire to have grand babies. She and Jesse James work at making a goof things.
. . . full of passion and frustration. Predictable fake-fiancé trope but the characters were engaging and the dialogue witty. Haven’t read this author before, but she as recommended by a friend for an entertaining read.
This is a good story with many twists and turns that keeps you reading. The characters were interesting and complex. What happened to the older couple?
What a love story! Both secretly in love but Caroline's being an heiress became a hindrance for Jesse. Finally, because of their love for the foster boys they admitted their real feelings and live happily with the boys.
