I think I liked this collection even more than the first one I read by Hydrus.⁣

The rhymed poems, the beautiful formatting and the amazing words. I bookmarked so many poems in this one!! A truly remarkable collection I did not want to stop reading!

Once again, this poet touches upon a variety of topics and emotions. Some of these poems were just so beautiful and relatable. I highly recommend you read this one🖤

In a nutshell, Endvisible is dark and I LOVE IT!

From the first page to the last, I was no less than transfixed by Hydrus’s poems. Between the dark tones, gorgeous wordplay, and flawless rhymes, this is a book I didn’t want to put down—even when I closed the book. (Lucky for me, I’ll be reading his second book, Awakened, VERY soon!)

I would describe Hydrus’s style as ‘fill in the blank’, giving readers a stage which he has set up with an image for his poems, leaving your mind to visualize the rest or simple go along for the ride. And what a ride it is!

I highly recommend to anyone to read these poems aloud. The words on the page and the way they sound as they roll off your tongue like velvet is makes this book an experience I am so grateful for. I also love the pictures, which Hydrus took himself! They are gorgeous!

The verdict: READ THIS BOOK!

This collection struck a unique chord. It evoked emotions from a darker, more solemn place in the mind, confronting the trials and hardships of loss, feeling lost, and searching for purpose. At least, that's how I interpreted it. The beauty of poetry lies in the reader's personal interpretation of the words before them.

Some of my favorite works by Hydrus are those with inspiring and empowering themes. However, I found myself more drawn to this collection of poems, as if I were looking into a mirror or having my thoughts heard. Many pieces resonated with me on a deeper level, reflecting some of my own inner turmoil.

This is a smaller collection and a quick read, but it doesn't lack brilliance. The emotion and relatability only enhances its impact. I even loved the one I had to translate. Additionally, the formatting in this collection is one of my favorites for its combination of haunting beauty and thoughtful presentation.

Endvisible is a book that should be read by anyone who has ever felt invisible. A poet has a gift so few of us have. The ability to express in words emotions that are difficult, unpredictable and painful. Hydrus is one such poet and this book is an example of his gift. I highly recommend you read this (or any of his books) and that you savor each of his poems and the emotions they will bring out in you.

This is _hydrus’ debut collection, but it’s actually the fifth one I’ve read. It was the only book I was missing in my collection, and I’m so happy I finally read it!
This poet/artist keeps amazing me with each book I read, making me feel all kind of emotions through his words and photography.
Once again, so many beautiful heartfelt poems it’s hard to pick a few favorites. Some I could relate to, some I could feel what _hydrus wanted to convey… A few of them actually broke my heart, and I’m sure they’ll resonate in me forever 🖤

Highly recommend!

I am not much of a poetry reader but I discovered Hydrus by chance and fell in love with his words.
Every poem feels like a fist around the heart or a gentle caress upon the soul. The raw emotion in each word is incredible! Like all of us I have experienced love, lust, adoration, loss, pain, desperation and Hydrus somehow put together all of these emotions into beautiful poems. It was like I was reliving some of those moments in my life whilst reading.
I am so grateful I have discovered this talented poet that made me fall in love with poetry once more!!

Poetry can be intimidating, I know that. I read this book twice to make sure to give an honest and balanced review. I love poetry. I love classic poetry. I love some beautiful modern poetry. However, ENDvisible is not it. Poetry, for me, doesn’t have to be revolutionary. However, it is supposed to create an emotional response. No poems in this collection gave me one.

I find the writing lazy and boring. There is nothing unique or interesting. Every poem looks the same. They all blend in together. They are pretty shallow and empty of real meaning which leads to no deep connection with any of them. Every poem is superficial, full of dead-end sentences. I find it absolutely impossible to feel or relate to any of them and yet loneliness is a feeling we all share. He says the same thing over and over using different words. It feels like _hydrus cared more about making something that looks like poetry on the page. You can tell that he is heavily inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poetry and other great poets, sometimes to the point where the imitation is flagrant and, yet, he fails completely to make a moving and inspiring poem.

There are, regardless, 3 or 4 somewhat worthy poems that show real potential. The writing just needs to be more worked on. The poems look like first drafts. Words put on a page, with others that rhyme and some synonyms before actually putting work into it to make it a stunningly remarkable poem.
