A Must Read!

This book is so good! I devoured it in about 4 hours and didn’t want it to end. Kate is 31 weeks pregnant and living in Washington in Lexi’s duplex while teaching her CSI class with Detective Dave adding a detective’s perspective. The class is inner city kids, all male. I love Romeo and the tales of his mama. They are laugh out loud and add some comic relief. As with tradition, Kate gets involved in a crime her first week on the job and part of her class are witnesses to the aftermath. Kate is also dealing with her husband Ryan. He is in a long term facility suffering from severe headaches as a result of his motorcycle accident and still wants a divorce so she and the baby will be safe from him. Poor girl has a lot on her plate. This is definitely a must read!

Ours is another hit for me Fiona Quinn writes the most amazing stories and Ours the third book in this series was just wonderful and a joy to read.

Kate is in Washington settling into her new home her new job dealing with her expanding waistline as her due date draws nearer and also dealing with her hubby and everything he is going through with his traumatic brain injury so you would think she had enough on her plate right???

Lol nope not for Kate now we can toss in what becomes a murder with a side of mystery surrounding it that could wind up getting Kate or one of her students killed....

This story was a heart-stopping page turner.

Wow!♥️♥️♥️

I am always so impressed with Fiona Quinn's books. The amount of detail and research that she has to do to turn out an amazing story is incredible. I was so enthralled with this book, I couldn't believe when I reached the end. Kate is a wonderful, complex, intelligent, strong woman. She jumps in to help with no thought to her own safety. This is book 3 in Kate's series, but it can be read as a standalone. I can't wait for the next book about the dogs ♥️🐕.

Kate is three for three!

Another crime, another body and another blow for Ryan after his accident...Kate is at breaking point and VERY pregnant, but she doesn't know how to give up and throws herself into teaching her new class. They are her sanity, her escape and her challenge, I love the bond Kate forms with the class, she knows exactly how to appeal to them, to relate to them and to bait them into learning.
Kate and Ryan's journey across these three books is emotional and tough but so good.
I look forward to the final installment in Fear The Reaper, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Great story!

Kate is once more teaching about CSI and running into mysteries. Being pregnant with her husband Ryan having issues and teaching she still manages to find trouble. Love the characters and the story. Cameos from previous characters along with Houston who is Ryan's service dog being trained at Inquiis. Loved it!

Ours
Kate Hamilton Mysteries, book 3
Fiona Quinn, author

I enjoyed this short story from the beginning to the end. It had excitement, drama and educational features that pulled me in. Not to mention, it was the final book in a cozy mystery trilogy and I wanted to see where Ms. Quinn would take it.
1. Excitement: High school senior discovers a victim of a crime.
2. Drama: The ongoing war between Kate and her wounded military Seal husband.
3. Educational features: Pertains to learning the ends and out of CSI training

I enjoyed this light easy read and will be reading more from this author. I recommend this book, the entire series and all of Ms. Quinn's books. I was afforded an advanced review copy from the author. I voluntarily leave this review.

Ours.
What a nice finishing touch to a trio of books.
Like the previous 2, this was a simple story but it was full of description especially because Kate's character was depicted as a teacher teaching CSI methodology.
To have a little murder/mystery thrown in there, like the previous books, was a bonus. It kept the intrigue up for me, all the while listening how plots and clues are possibly put together.
We Keep tabs on Ryan in this trio of novels which imbglad about as eventually I'll be listening to his very own book.
Listening in chronological order about the iniquuis world is awesome as pieces come together and I learn how each character is centered around Iniquuis and mostly of lynx, which started me on this journey.
Fiona quinn is just superb as she fits all the political and diabolical agendas together.
Not a lot of romance in some of these books, but each series has its kevl of steam and people chemistry so it's not all mystery and complicated agendas and missions.
I especially like where this is going, which involves the K9 units.
That is one of the highlights of moving through fionas books.
Just so enjoy listening to Stacey G. Her tone and inflections are marvellous. Sometimes I wish she was narrating all the series by fiona. For me, it keeps the accents to the character depicted, true. When other narrators are chosen, I've noticed they don't necessarily stick to the accent Stacey introduced them as.
I like their narration, it's just a preference from what was originally introduced.

SOOOO good! I'm delighted I pushed through the first book ~ and now I'm hoping for a #4! :-) I'd forgotten just how good Ms Quinn is with characters & plot ~ wow! GREAT story-telling!

What I appreciate most about her characters is that they're REAL ~ they think and say what WE would say in those situations, even if they're 'not quite proper', if that makes sense. In this one, Kate is teaching ~ and the kids BEHAVE LIKE TEENAGERS! Not like perfect little 14-15-16-17 year old angels! REAL kids ~ they cuss a little; they push a lot; they do what they're told, but sometimes go over the line ~ and Ms Quinn GETS IT and puts it all on the page. Ryan may be acting like an ass, but Kate understands ~ MOST of the time! ~ that he still loves her. But there are times she's angry with him
~ with good reason, I might add ~ yet there's that 'truth' element in there, too: he's on his journey ~ he has to also follow his conscience and heart.

CAVEAT: y'all know I'm a stickler for proper editing ~ and while Ms Quinn could do better with proofreading and light editing, I cannot lower her rating a star because the depth of characterization and plot totally overcompensates for that lack of proofing.

Pick up your copy of Ours today and prepare to get pulled in to another sensational book by Fiona Quinn! If you haven’t read her other series Lynx, Uncommon Enemies, Strike Force & FBI Joint Task Force and Badge Bunny Booze Mystery then pick up these Magnificent books! Determination Wins

The continuing saga of Kate Hamilton reflects how tenacious tendencies overcome. Kate's husband, the damaged SEAL Ryan (Reaper) Hamilton is still recovering from serious head injuries. Although he says he wants a divorce our courageous Kate knows he's just trying to protect her, and their unborn son. Now 8+ months pregnant, biology teacher, Kate, is providing a CSI class for teenagers in the Washington, DC area. In doing so, she brings a realistic approach to her students; and, danger into her own life. She is dealing with imminent childbirth, a seriously ill husband, a murder and teenagers who prove themselves both creative and compassionate. Rewarding conclusion in this third book of mysteries. Kate Hamilton is a smart, strong and resolute woman. She deserves to be the main character in all three of these books.

The more I love a book, the less I find I have to say about it. So, you can infer what it means when I say that this story left me speechless. I have been impatiently waiting to see what it would take to get Kate out of her personal limbo. Turns out, a lot of things had to come together in just the right order at just the right time to free her and Ryan from their individual purgatories. I’m always in awe at the amount of detailed research I can see that goes into every one of the author’s books. This one was no exception as I felt like I was taking Kate’s class along with her students. And once again, I’ve reached the end of the book and I’m in no way ready to let go of these characters. I want more. NOW!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

4-Star Review: Yours by Fiona Quinn

Yours is an engaging romantic suspense novel that blends mystery, danger, and heartfelt emotion. The story draws you in right away with its intriguing setup and a strong balance between action and character development. The chemistry between the main characters feels genuine, and their connection deepens naturally as the tension builds.

Fiona Quinn does a great job creating an atmosphere of suspense without losing the emotional core of the story. The pacing moves well, with just enough twists to keep things interesting without overwhelming the romance.

Overall, Yours is a well-written, fast-paced read that offers both excitement and heart. It’s a satisfying mix of suspense and romance that keeps you turning the pages until the end.

Ours: The Kate Hamilton Mysteries: Iniquus Security Action Adventure Book 3 is by Fionna Quinn. This is the last book in the set of three novellas is part of the books based on Iniquus that I am reading. These novellas deal with Randy and Kate Hamilton.
In the third book, Kate takes a job teaching in Washington DC in conjunction with the police department. This time her class is entirely boys and she really must prove herself a good teacher as they are hardcore boys and she is pregnant. While visiting one of the boys and his mother, a man is found in a dumpster and has been stabbed. It is a real-life example to help her boys learn about investigating. Will it make a difference?

Third times the charm

A third crime, a third city and a third attempt to save her marriage. Kate has not had an easy time of it in her series, but her determination and focus on education is inspiring and her approach to life and life is hopeful and entertaining.

The story takes a fun spin on CSI and education, but it also looks at the harm and other issues that some vets face when they return home from being deployed. I loved the ending and thought the introduction of the K-9 unit was creative!

Fiona Quinn is my new favorite author!

I think this makes seven of MS Quinn's books that I've read. They are terrific! I have !earned so much from her. First about becoming b!ind, learning to cope, about guide dogs and how they are trained. In this book I learned about CSI and how to motivate young people in a very positive way. I intend to read as many of her books as I can find. Thank you for writing books that inform in the most pleasant way possible and give me hours of pleasure, especially in this trying time of two pandemic.

She is in Washington teaching her CSI to inner city kids. A challenge for her, and with being pregnant. Her husband is getting more treatments and hopes something works. While relating her job, a body is found, will he live, with that it makes this type of investigation more real for these kids.
Good series, different plots in each

Wither her marriage on life support, Kate begins a new job teaching high school CSI. Sure as tomorrow, Kate is neck deep in a murder investigation within the first couple of days! While her class plays basketball, a nearly dead body is discovered. The teens have their own idea about how much attention the police will give the case while Kate has a stalker on her tail.

Amazing!

The things we can do when we are pregnant. There were many words that can inspire us to do the best we can, even the mistakes we make. We learn so many things that at the time seem irrelevant and can use them for adventures later.

I recommend this book and the Iniquus world. I am reading them in world order, not in series order.

As Kate and Ryan’s story continues Kate moves to DC and is teaching a CSI course for high schooler’s with the local police department. No spoilers, so you will just have to read this one to see if her brand of luck follows her, and how her relationship with her husband develops.
