Melissa

I wasn’t the type of woman a biker would go for. I’m a homemaker type, not adventurous or bold.

I fought it hard, but he dragged me into his world, and I found I liked it. Loved the family vibe, how everyone would gather around to protect what was theirs.

Until, he vanished. Disappeared off the face of the earth. He’d pulled me in, now he’s gone. The only explanation for him not coming back is that he’s dead.

Pyro

She wasn’t mine, and never could be. She’d been claimed by someone else. The perfect woman who I could never have as my own.

I stepped up when she needed someone beside her. Held her when she needed a friend. That my brother was dead was something I’d help her accept.

The truth though, that hit the hardest. How could any of us deal with the knowledge that there was something worse than death?

Manda’s life's always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?

There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.

Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

ARC read in return for an honest review.

When Melissa meets Skull a younger man in a bar one night she doesn’t see how the hot biker could be attracted to her, an older woman with a more than curvy figure yet he peruses her and the pair begin a relationship.

Their relationship progresses and after being brought into the MC’s folds, welcomed by her new man’s brothers and their significant others Melissa starts to feel like she’s finally going get her happy ever after, however Skull heads out one day failing to return, both Mel and his club brothers grow more concerned as time goes by, it’s not looking good for Skull.

I’m not going to divulge the storyline but what I will say is that Pyro steps up from the beginning and helps Mel, he’s attracted to her but she belongs to another brother, or does she?

I was rooting for them from, well the moment they started interacting with each other, their relationship was built on friendship, Pyro was there for Mel whenever/however she needed him, time and time again he showed just how much he’d come to care for her, first off as friends, gradually progressing to lovers as the pair fell truly, madly, deeply in love with each other, they have one of those loves we all dream about finding one day.

When the situation of Skulls disappearance resurfaces there’s plenty of drama that comes with it, as usual the club comes together and faces the problem head on ensuring that what’s needing done, gets done.

This is the fourth book in Manda’s Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter and like I’ve said before when it’s came to every previous release, this series really does just keep getting better and better. Manda has smashed it out the ballpark with this five star read, another fantastic addition to the series.

Wow - I am Exhausted after this Ride. This book has taken me on a perfect Journey. I know that when I enter the Satan's Devil's World I am in for a Ride. I was only plannig on reading the 1st 5 Chapters and then I thought just a couple more and before I knew it. 1:45am............

Devil's Dilemma brought it to the table! I was drawn in slowly, and started feeling a bit disconnected and was wondering why Manda Mellett would leave such a feeling of Disconnection, but it was part of the Plan. It will all make sense the more you gain momentum until the Twists, Hairpin Turns & Switchbacks!

I went through a Gamut of Feelings. Laughing, Crying, Anger, Fun and ETC. It is a Epic Journey and you can see all the hard work that went in to this book. It is palpable. Manda Mellett has away of making the characters come alive & 3 dimensional. They are not cookie cutter dolls, but have personality, flaws & warts. This is a preference for me.

So 1st of Thank you Manda Mellett for this Adventure I found my Self In, It will be visited quite often and 2dely go and read it!!!!!

Manda has written another amazing book.

With a little bit of history at the start if this story, you can see where it falls into the timeline of the Pueblo characters. I fell in love with Mel. Identifying with her concern over her weight.
Shes a really lovely character.

Pyro surprised me. With his honest and loyal love for Mel and his club. He stood by her side quietly loving her so much. Willing to be whatever/whoever she needed.

Yet another story that soaks in and lingers there. Love this series. Cant ask for a better author.

Once I started Devil's Dilemma I could not put it down. It sucked me into the Satan's Devils world and would not let go until the final page was read. This book will give you all kinds of emotions. You will sigh with happiness, tear your hair out madness and weep in sadness. The story itself is brilliant and will keep you guessing.

The one thing that stood out was the main character Melissa. Aside from having an amazing name, she was so down to earth and someone most of us women could relate to. She is a strong woman, however does not see herself as beautiful because she is not model thin. She does not realize that her curves make her beautiful add her amazing personality and she is the whole package for a lot of men.

Pyro is a man who knows what he wants, but cant have it. He is there when Melissa needs him the most. There friendship is an exquisite journey you see unfold. The best relationships are built on friendships, but like most great stories there are obstacles. These are full of pain and heartache, love and hope.
Loved getting to know the Las Vegas chapter a little better, cannot wait until Reds story. I think there was a little foreshadowing in there. Also you really get a better connection with Colorado and members. I am so glad that Manda has decided to branch out with other chapters because it looks like we will have plenty of books in our future.

The feeling the emotions every laugh every cry I felt with the amazing characters Manda mellett writes she's so inspiring and how she has one thought to bring to life how she does it ! As for devil's dilemma how amazing to write current affairs into a book! Miscarriage and undercover operations and even the mind and thoughts of a overweight woman every thought she had is one that we've had as curvy girls ourselves I for one cannot wait for more already such a good read definitely should be added to your lists !! Five stars !

Oh it has been a while since I could dive into one of Manda Mellett's books and I have missed this world! Melissa is closed off at the start of Devil's Dilemma and I don't blame her. I know how she feels about her appearance and men. She sees herself as too curvy and unable to attract a man, her history and observations support this theory. That is why it was amusing when she first meets Skull. One night while in a bar with her co-workers she sees a hot guy who appears more than a few years younger than her. He is obviously in a motorcycle club and he is looking at her. She doesn't see his attraction to her and its her co-workers who move things along. He gets her to go out with him and their relationship progresses. He brings her to his clubhouse to get their approval for the relationship and to introduce her to his family and lifestyle. She makes friends and things get serious until he doesn't come home. The club doesn't know where he is and they start to search for him. Pyro always thought Melissa was hot and sweet but you don't mess with another man's woman. He steps up and helps her from the beginning. They grow close but the situation with Skull takes a turn and their entire future is thrown into question. This was an amazing story, giving us a front row seat to Melissa's journey. She grows so much throughout this book that by the end she was one of my favorite female characters. Pyro is just an awesome guy from start to finish, I adored him. The club and its support and genuine feelings for Melissa were amazing to witness. I loved every moment I spent with these characters!

Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will set your world on fire. This is number four in the Satan’s Devils MC: Colorado Chapter and each one tells us a different story. I will admit I didn’t love this one as much as number three, but it was still a great story and I am eager to get my hands-on number five. Melissa was someone I could identify with easily, I got her straight away, she was a good character and had great depth to her. She brings the story to life, I will say that there are emotions running riot in this one, so be warned you may need to break out the tissues, but I am leaving it there. There are some amazing characters in this as well as Melissa and each of them will show you a different part of a great story.

Wow! I can truthfully say that this is one of the best written books I have read. I love Manda’s writing, and it just keeps getting better every book! She spun a very deep tale of love, betrayal and absolute shock. Mel meets Skull and is eventually taken in by him and all of his MC. Suddenly , and without warning, he disappears and Mel’s world is shattered. Pyro steps up to help out his brothers Old Lady and then everything just comes to a shocking head! This book is full of twists and turns, ones I never saw coming. I was so engrossed in the story that I couldn’t put it down. This is one of the best MC books I’ve read!!!

Wow!!! Again. I'm not disappointed that for sure. I'm happy how the story is so different from each book and it's so refreshing. My heart broke for Mellissa, the grief, the betrayal and the hurt she is going through. Love how Pyro protect her and of course love her!!! Can't wait for the next book!!!

So good

This book had me so hooked. I always knew there was something up with the character skull what an a hole. Poor Melissa she got the man of her dreams in pyro. This band of brothers can't catch a break. But I'm glad they got skull in the end a fitting end to a nasty man but I'm sure we are going to see his wife in another book she deserves someone too after what she went through with him also. Love this series.❤️

Devil's Dilemma: Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #4 by Manda Mellett is a MC romance that is a very emotionally charged story with lots of drama and angst, deception and lies, pain and suffering. Wow what a ride, I absolutely love these books and the men and women in them. Manda has mastered this genre and I never fail to jump when a new book comes my way. I am tired and emotional after reading this and wouldn’t want it any other way. I have become invested in the characters and found myself balling my eyes out. I also only put the book down to work, I found myself saying just one more hour but that quickly turned into three as I turned page after page. It’s really hard to say BUT this may be, just maybe my favourite yet BUT I always say that after finish each one as Manda’s writing of the clubs and situations just calls to me.

Melissa always wondered why someone like him would want someone like her, after her world was turned upside down, she discovers the truth and the hits just keep on coming. But then as if nothing could be worse than what she has gone through something unimaginable happens and fate dealt the final blow, something she thought she would not come back from. But the unlikely family and the support of those around her made her survive, made her fight, made her see that the one thing she needed had always been right there beside her when her world fell apart.

Bring on more.

Once again Manda has written a story that sucked me in from the first page. After each book I think this is the best one...and again I think this is the best one.

I got to meet Melissa, a character who is completely relatable, a character who thinks less of who she is, because she doesn't fit the mold of what society says a woman should look like. Mel has an inner beauty, a strength that helps her overcome so many obstacles and heartache. Her loyalty, sense of humor and kick ass personality help her find a man who loves her no matter what. Those qualities also help her form a new family that will do anything for her.

Melissa meets a man named Pyro, a man who says to hell with what society says and falls for Melissa heart and soul Pyro is with her during the worst times of Mel's life and the best. He holds her hand and is her strength when she can't go on. Their friendship turns into a relationship that people strive to have in their own lives.

I LOVED getting to know the new members in this chapter, as well as reading more about the Vegas Chapter. I can't wait for the next installment.

An amazingly brilliant story that takes you away on a wild ride of emotions. Be prepared to feel every emotion possible and feel them hard.

Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series. It can be read as a standalone, although this story does mention events from previous books.

Just from the synopsis, I was pretty sure I knew how this story was going to go. I WAS RIGHT! I have to say that this story is expertly told. Even though I already had an idea of how it would play out, it still kept me hooked all the way to the end.

Be prepared to be pissed at a certain character. I won’t name names because I don’t want to ruin it. I wanted to reach through the pages and slap a person! I mean, how low can you go??? I felt so bad for Melissa. What she ended up going through nearly tore my heart out. I did appreciate her backbone when she was finally able to have her confrontation of closure.

Superb storytelling, as always.

I've said it in every other review and I'll scream it from the rooftops about how obsessed I am with this series! I love a good MC but it take me a lot to get myself hooked onto one and this one has me hooked! Each and every story is purely unique and not something you can read in any other series. It first starts out with Melissa and Skull then Melissa and Pyro. So much is going on and so much story that it's too hard to put down. You will find any excuse just to read one more chapter until there is no more chapters to read and you have 6 loads of laundry to fold!

What a ride!

These books are amazing! Incentive and unique. Manda comes up with amazingly innovative storylines. U won't find the usual regurgitated stories from her. This book is no different. The idea of it could b said as done before but that's where any similarities end. You're kept on year toes like a good mystery novel with clues and ideas but u never know until its revealed. So I won't b spoiling any fun here. Just know that u r in for a ride. Definitely emotionally. I cried a lot! I even tried to finish it in one very long sitting with a numb bum but alas I couldnt. Well worth the numb bum lol.

Great book

Another fantastic story by the author. This series has taken on a life of it's own, this time an undercover agent tries to take them on even going so far as to involve an innocent young woman. The characters are interesting and the story holds you captive beginning to end.

Great book but needs a TW

This was such a great book but definitely needed a trigger warning. There is a lost of a baby/miscarriage in this book and it devastated me since I am 35 weeks pregnant so take this as your warning. The book was absolutely wonderful and I just loved Mel and Pyro. Manda always has a great story line.

I was really into this story- and I thought the grief period and the sorrow over losing someone was done well. I actually loved the storyline- and I really felt like it was a bit different then I’m used to with the biker genre. However, I felt like the story truly dragged on too much. I also didn’t like the steamy scenes.
