Kay Correll is a USA Today bestselling author of sweet, heartwarming stories that are a cross between women’s fiction and contemporary romance. She is known for her charming small towns, quirky townsfolk, and the enduring strong friendships between the women in her books.

Kay splits her time between the Southwest coast of Florida and the Midwest of the U.S. and can often be found out and about with her camera, taking a myriad of photographs, often incorporating them into her book covers. When not lost in her writing or photography, she can be found spending time with her ever-supportive husband, knitting, or playing with her puppies - a cavalier who is too cute for his own good and a naughty but adorable Australian shepherd. Their five boys are all grown now and while she misses the rowdy boy-noise chaos, she is thoroughly enjoying her empty nest years.

Three Little things: Return to Lighthouse Point: Charming Inn Book 3 is by Kay Correll. There are only three things that Ruby wanted in a man: that he would show her that he appreciated her; that he would accept her sons as his own; and that he would accept her dog, Mischief. That was, of course, if she wanted a man. Her darling husband Barry had unexpectedly died two or three years ago, and as lonely as she got at times, Ruby was in no hurry to find another man now if ever.
David Quinn was from Kansas City and had recently retired. He read about the island and Charming Inn and thought there would be the perfect place to go to begin his retirement and to forget his troubles, if they would let him. As he gets acquainted with the inn and the lovely beach and ocean just outside, he decided this just might have been the place for him to be. As he breathed the air, he felt his body relax and his mind rest, just what he needed. If the people of the town were as friendly as his hostess, Miss Lillian Charm, he would be even happier.
He decided to take a walk on the beach towards Lighthouse Point, knowing that he could turn around at any point if he got tired. However, the more he walked, the less tired he felt. The few people out enjoying the beach either smiled or nodded. Then, a dog ran up to him begging to be petted and wriggling in excitement. As he knelt to pet the pup, he raised his head to look for its owner and saw Ruby rushing towards them. She looked flustered and it was a good look on her.
What else could be in store for him as his visit extends?

Best Day Ever!

The 3rd book of Kay's new series! The way the beginning of the book starts grows slowly to a beautiful ending. I love all the characters and come to love each new character. Friendships, families and love all perfectly put together like a beautiful sunset! You'll have to read the book to know what Best Day Ever means!
That phrase out a smile on my face, my daughter's fiance works with wedding planners and is a DJ and lighting by his partner. The name of the business is BDE, Best Day Ever!
Thank you Kay for your wonderful stories! Can't wait until #4!

Each book I finish is my favorite

Kay Correll is just my favorite good news, loving life and love author! Her stories are characters that could be our friends and family. When you feel that the love and connection the characters have for each other it just draws you in and you can’t put the book down. 🥴 Now I have to wait until June for my next dose of Charming Inn happiness. I guess I will just have to be patient ♥️

Love this book!

As I continue to read these books by Kay Correll, every one seems to be better! Maybe it is because I am getting to know the characters of the island better but I feel they are my life long friends. I've ordered book 4 upon finishing this book. As I've said in all the other reviews, any women who enjoys reading about love, some problems...like we all have in our life....but that ends with a happy ending should read this book. Enjoy!

Charming Inn series continues to tell a poignant story

Of family and friends, life after a death, and of course wishes at the lighthouse. It’s a crisp story that begins to show us more of life on Belle Island.

I stand by my review of the second book in this series - Ben is a complete bonehead. I don’t care if he redeemed himself in the end, his immature and selfish attitude was too much for me. It ruined the book.

Another very entertaining story by Kay Correll. This one centered around Ruby, a widow who was having a difficult time finding her life after the loss of her husband. An easy read but totally took me out of my own life for a little while.

I like that she tackles a storyline that would be interesting for middle age to older readers. It's rare. I liked these characters and the plot. Looking forward to reading more from Correll.

Fabulous story! Love this book so much. Was so glad to see Russell get his just desserts for being so mean. Loved that there was a happy ending.
