Apathy was worse than a guilty conscience. Those who turned a blind eye against oppression were as just as guilty as the oppressors.
The day Molly’s attackers were set free was the day Mallary decided to take justice inti her own hand. And Mallary knows that in order to do that, she would have to get closer to her enemies hanggang sa pagkatiwalaan siya ng maduduming sikretong tinatago nila. She’s starting with Nathan, the lawyer who took the fall for all of his guilty friends. The perpetrators may have thought that no one will know what they did. But they thought wrong. Mallary knows they’re guilty and she will go through great lengths to make them pay.
[a Taglish review on the way // Book #2 for Wikathon!] I am honestly underwhelmed, I think? I don’t feel super satisfied with that ending! I was like, ”’Yun na ‘yon?!” Yes, basically , but apart from that, I don’t think it was very realistic? Or maybe I’m dumb. Seriously, medyo nakakabobo ‘yung nangyayari. The plot got me hooked, I’m not going to lie. But I honestly can’t seem to pinpoint what I didn’t like about the book. [‘Di yata ako sanay na biglang nagshishift ‘yung gamit ng English at Filipino? Baka isa ‘yun. Parang ang abrupt kasi.]
Without the romance subplot of her other law-related works, this has a relatively streamlined and fast-paced plot. I liked what the author was trying to achieve but the mystery and thrill aspect of the book was a messy unsatisfying letdown. It is riddled with plot conveniences and spoon-fed information, all justified with vague explanations such as money, connections, and a character with unexplained superb skill in investigation.
For reasons I now forgot, I have this book. I do remember buying it in 2020. I reread it because I’m taking a much-needed break from reading international manuscripts, and rereading this felt absolutely dated. You can tell this was written in 2010s; however, I do feel that it being dated allows nostalgia and added to the vibe of the novel.
The plot and pacing is fast which I highly appreciate. The characters are WILDLY on par with the characterization assigned to each of them. The villains are adequate and rightfully so. The twists are melodramatic but again the drama added to the aesthetics of this story.
It is trying to be edgy and it partially succeeded that. I do appreciate the realism depicted for the trigerring theme in this novel which is rape and the justice system in the Philippines. Considering the real-life occupation of the author, it is refreshing to read about justice and the law explained and used in a New Adult genre. I also love that this author did not write this theme using YA characters as the plot would not be as impactful as this one did.
I feel that this novel did it’s job to depict and question a lot about one’s character and one’s will to drive justice, but at what cost?
Intriguing. Beguiling with a hint of desperation. I’d still recommend this novel in 2026 especially for those who wants to read a good mystery.
Revenge stories always bring me a sense of satisfaction. I always like to root for the underdog, particularly when it's an anti-hero bringing justice for all even when it crosses the line. In this case, however, I never feel that same sense of wish fulfillment. I just felt a sense of dread considering how close it was to today's real-world events.
The pattern repeats itself over and over again. Powerful people committing atrocities, never facing the consequences of their actions because of undeserving wealth. A justice system that bends at the sight of gold and a victim forced to fend for itself while looking above the podium, hoping for a lifeline.
The only thing that's comforting about this novel is the fact that it's not real, and at the very least, the villains get to be punished at the end. It's just unfortunate that it doesn't always work out that way in real life. A meaningful resolution has always been reserved for people of means, while the poor were crushed under the weight of injustices.
Overall the book is great. The twist and turns especially the ending got me! To be honest I stop midway for about a month because it is too overwhelming for me and I don't want to read a book if I can't understand a single thing, and if I am emotional. In this book, you will learn how the justice served in the Philippines and you will really learn a lot. About the characters, I still have questions about the identity of Mallary Esquivel because some of her lines doesn't add up and that makes her still mysterious.
This novel is from Wattpad written by Ariesa Domingo. On contrary to what majority of the people believe that the works from Wattpad are all cringey, well, that might be true but not for this one. No One Will Know deserves recognition internationally. If only if the author would agree to have the full English translation. But to tell you, this is a masterpiece written by a Filipino writer. A mystery-thriller! The twists and turns are superb. I didn't even expect the ending! The book is an eye-opener about injustice, oppressors and abusive power.
I chose to read this for school since I've been putting this one up and gawwwddd, was it worth it? YES! It was by far one of the best straight 4 hours reading experience of my entire year. Such an eye-opener, literary fiction! I loved how it unfolded, loved the characters, the protagonist even! And don't even talk to me about the END?
I wrote a book review of NOWK for our Fil class, and how I wrote that 2 page book review without pause and complete amusement reflects the book itself.
as an avid reader of a crime thriller books this one gives me chills, not to mention that the author is a filipina but she can be piled up with some international crime authors like abigail haas. I was literally mind blown. this book reminds me of dangerous girls and the case of pepsi paloma. the plan of nathan and mallary was really amazing but the twist and turn. gosh! it really gives me creeps. 😱
Wow. Just wow. I can’t say nothing else but to clarify that the author did a fucking amazing job here! I liked the twist. The part when Mallary fired back the lines that ‘Oscar Valderrama’ said to her once. Many people died and that’s such a no shit dog show. I’d want to have the physical book copy of this one, it’s so so so good. I’m just slightly frustrated on the other readers. Because I read this on wattpad. Anyway! 4 stars for your success claimed justice for Molly, Mallary!!!
No One Will Know by Beeyotch made my mind ache because every chapter was so intense and full of twists. I was completely hooked and even found myself cursing at every chapter out of excitement and frustration. Despite all the chaos, the ending left me super satisfied. This story made me feel a lot of emotions and kept me thinking even after I finished reading it.
This is soo thrilling!! Literally one of the best stories I've read. The very unique and unpredictable plot really amazed me. Tho I definitely thought that this was gonna end like a happy romance hahahaha

It was good, wonderful, nice etc. I just got confused in some chapters because I'm still new in the mystery-thriller genre. I've only explored a few but overall the book was GREAT. I just got confused because I'm very bobo right now
Unrealistic ending but hell did it surprise me. My heart was constantly racing from beginning to end. Such a fast-paced read and although there were some mysteries that were not unearthed or were uncleared if you are not familiar with Beeyotch's universe, the plot still carried.
plot twist after plot twist ! didnt like na medyo careless si mallory like there were many times na alam niyang delikado pero pumupunta pa rin siya. also, sobrang rupok niya ??? like the aftermath ??? tapos yung ending scene ??? sobrang cliffhanger
Well written with solid plot. If interested ka sa law related story ito na yung lobrong para sayo. Kahit ndi ikaw Yung nasa kuwento feel mo pa rin Yung nararamdaman ng character.
This story is undeniably dark. It tackles one of the society's issues and how crooked the justice system is. I love the lesson and points of the story.
Savage MC. Probably the only revenge story that was very satisfying for me. The mystery, the law, and the plot twists. Isa sa mga hindi ko makakalimutang ending. Incredibly brilliant.
