I found this book very touching. It had a mix of everything. Hope, love, sadness, forgiveness.

The reality of life and death was very sharp. The back-and-forth of the characters on earth versus those in heaven was emotional.

The main takeaway was forgiveness. Also, how the characters evolved from generation to generation was very real.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing about redemption and meeting loved ones in heaven.

An excellent read.
