Red hot fireworks light up the sky in this group of stories! Several authors and different genres come together with a common goal of romantic kisses under the starry blasts of rockets. Miki Ward, Garrett Ward, LM Wilson, Sofia Ann Hoffman, Cleo Grace, and Elizabeth Ellis charm us with their stories. The heat level goes from tension to bam depending on the story. There is something for everyone in this book.
This review related only to 4Eternity by Elizabeth Ellis. I will probably return to this book at a later date to read more stories by these amazing authors. 4Eternity was a beautiful modern adult fairytale with vampires and destined soulmates and I loved it. I enjoyed every page and every twist and turn of the plot, as well as the characters and the whole idea. This story was a complete surprise as well, because I was familiar with darker short stories by this writer, I have been following on a social media platform. I have enjoyed the author's work from the beginning, so naturally I got this book immediately when I realised that her story was featured here. And as expected, she fulfilled all my expectations and more. The story focuses on Isabelle who suffers an incredible disappointment and betrayal and decides to take a break from her life and visit her aunt in Italy. Although at times Isabelle might seem a bit insecure, it is not so. She is a strong woman who know exactly what she wants and what she does not want in her life, and she will not accept any kind of mistreatment to please the ones who claim that love her but are trying to take advantage of her. Unfortunately, some of her closest people in her life were such and she did not have much opportunity to experience life to the fullest. All of that changes when she arrives to her aunt's estate and meets her uncle and four mysterious friends of theirs. Well, she meets Collin right away as she is her designated escort for the journey to Italy. There she meets Trevor, Michael, and Alexander and the romance starts. The idea is sweet and beautiful and in combination with the authors poetic expression and beautiful writing style, it is nothing short of magical fairytale with a happily ever after conclusion. It is even better because the author does not waste time on forgiveness for those who do not deserve it but instead lets the main character give them a piece of mind. That was incredibly satisfying. The characters are wonderfully developed, and the growth of their relationships is beautifully done. There are some beautifully written hot and steamy parts, as well and the chemistry between the characters is palpable, as is the love between Isabelle and her aunt. I liked everything about this story and I can't wait to read more from this author.
What an amazing anthology. There are an assortment of genres ,some sweet some very intense. But all of them are perfect. You will enjoy this book , and the talents of all these wonderful authors.
