I really enjoyed this.

This was a quick spicy Valentine's read. I would definitely recommend checking this book out if you haven't read it already.

Simon & Valerie. Co-workers for five years, Simon is obsessed with her and she hates him. He is always sitting next to her at meetings and at lunch and it drives her crazy. There is a singles mixer planned for Valentine’s Day, and her friend convinces Valerie to go. Yes, he is there too, and when they are blindly paired off, the two are together. When she starts to walk away, he grabs her arm and takes her to the dance floor where she begins to finally relax in his arms. Then they are directed to take compatibility quizzes, and they really begin to bond when they see how much they have in common. They score 99 out of 100. Before the next event begins, they bolt for a cab to his place and have wild monkey sex. As they are coming down, he tells her he loves her and she freaks and runs out. The next day she gets drunk and winds up at his place wanting sex. She gets sick, he takes care of her, and she wakes up with the standard headache. She is grateful he was a gentleman and they agree to have dinner that night. Before they open the Thai take-out, she is all over him but he throws cold water on it and says he will not give her an O until she tells the truth about her feelings for him. She finally breaks down and admits she has been in love with him for some time but was so fearful of having her heart broken. They are married the next Valentine’s Day. This was a very fun and sexy book.

A decent read

I enjoyed the overall nature/vibe of this book. I am a sucker for insta love and “he falls first”. That being said, this could have flowed a little smoother in my opinion. There were bits throughout that seemed a little too rushed.

Gotta Love Snark

This one is full of a lot of bite back and snark. I love the early fight scenes in the office as Simon tries to woo Val and she fights back. Love a feisty lady!

Short and sweet! Of course it didn’t have much depth since it was a short book, but the spice was good! I love the enemies to lovers and the tension. It was cute and a nice little valentines read!
