A Hip Hop Love in South Jersey: A Rap Fairytale
There’s nothing like Hip-Hop without a beautiful love story. Meet Shai ‘Sha-Dee’ Dixon, Gutta, Hood with skills to take over the rap game. During the yearly Rap Battle, Shai meets Meeko Carter, a big-time producer. Knowing Meeko’s status in the industry, Shai is ready to sign. However, his brother Sid Dixon, one of South Jersey’s ruthless drug lords is against him signing. Sid and Meeko has some unfinished beef that still lingers but to Shai, it has nothing to do with him. Shai Dixon decides to sign the contract and upon signing he stumbles upon a beauty by the name of Rhythm Carter. Rhythm who is sexy but rebellious is living a carefree life that her father Meeko doesn’t approve of. When Rhythm and Shai meets up, the chemistry is off the hook, but will Shai choose his career over his heart? What will Meeko do when he finds out that his most profitable artist went behind his back and started a relationship with his daughter? A good hip hop fairytale
I’m glad Cadence got herself together and realize in order to find peace she needs to love herself it’s unfortunate that something so tragic happen to her for her to realize her self worth and I’m glad she did find happiness and learn to forgive in order to move forward their life. Meko didn’t do anything wrong by trying to protect Rhythm but I’m glad he realized that she has to grow up and make her own mistakes and I’m also happy he found out who killed his wife so he can move forward with his life and future. I enjoy all the characters in this book Author Tyanna never disappoints me

Satisfied Reader
Rhythm was the beat to Shai's lyrics. Being a daddy's girl was getting old especially if someone has your heart. Cadence was very jealous and tried to sabotage Shai's character and also she had people thinking Rhythm wasn't a true friend. She definitely brought the hood out of Shai and learned he was the wrong one to cross. Meeko wasn't as bad after all and Keyonna had to grow on me.

Cadence was definitely not Rythm's friend...she was doing absolutely too much...but I live for that Shai...he was straight to the point with everything...I'm glad him and DNice squashed their bs and made music together

Great Read
This book was so good. I'm glad that Meeko found out The truth of his wife death that shai brother Sid had nothing to do with it Ron cousin Jay hating ass killed her over Jealousy. Cadence got the help she needed after being raped I can't wait to see what's next.

Growth and letting go
Merlo couldn’t move past his hurt and was about to cause harm to everyone and sad part he was being used by the man that crashed his world. Shai was a level headed guy to me his brother raised him good. Rhythm grew up and found herself in the process

First time
A Hip Hop Love in South Jersey: A Rap Fairytale by Tyanna is a good read. This is my first time reading from this author. Ty does a good job. She brings lot of dramatic, emotional, heartbreaking and lovely characters in this book.
Meek reminds me of my mother because she’s overprotective and overwhelmed to me. She doesn’t allow me to grow and do whatever I want to do with my life. Meek is overprotective and overwhelmed to Rhythm. I understand that she’s only his daughter but she should choice her own decision and focus on herself without her father’s controlling. Ms. Johnson is my favorite character and I wish she could talk to my mom for me.
I’m happy that Sid and Meek are working on their friendship and relationship with their queens. I’m happy that Shai and Rhythm are made a cute couple and congrats on their success. Also, Rhythm and Cadence are working on their differences and friendship. Hopefully, there is be on part 2 of this series. I’ll definitely continue to support and read more from this author.

This was awesome
I loved this book from start to finish, it was a real page-turner!!! So much was going on and being jealous of others could be deadly.... Jay was a prime example!!! Smh I hate what happened to Candace and for King and P to tell her that Rhythm sat her up was disgusting with their undercover a$$es!!! Rhythm and Shai were a great couple I loved the vibe that they had!! Awesome Read

A good read
I really enjoyed this story. The storyline had just enough drama to keep you interested and not overly dramatic. I loved Shai he was a real stand up dude. I like how Rhythm stood up to her father. Meeko was a mess at first but he won me over in the end. I can't wait to see what's next.

I feel bad what happened to Cadence but I'm glad she got the help she needed. I was also shocked at who helped her with the healing process. Shai and Rhythm were meant to meet. Her dad wanted only the best for Rhythm but he had to let her live. I'm glad everything worked out for them.

I am so glad Meeko an Sid got their beef over with an Meeko found out what really happened to his wife an can move on with his life. Princess loves a man that raps
This is a very good book. There was a lot of hatred because of jealousy going on. It gives you a different look because drug dealing isn't the only thing people battle about in the streets. There is some growth and understanding in this book. I highly recommend it.

This was a good read. At first, it started out to me very slow and dry. I couldnt stay in tuned for nothing, but as I kept reading. I started getting into it. I wish Rhythm was able to tag Cadence and Keysa one good time. Lol. But besides that everything was great.

I loved Sha-Dee and Rhythm’s chemistry they were so 💯 with each other from jump. Im glad Sid and Meeko got over theyre differences about Starla. I was kinda skeptical about Cadence but at least she got a happy ending too.
