Great slice of life and tease for Zero Trace
Dylan and Mary and Jud and Vi take a honeymoon together. A private resort owned by a friend of Jud's. Mary and Vi are unplugged.
Zoey and Cord are handling OPs. Zoey has a unique brand of customer service. She is trying Gage's patience.
Kamren, Dallas and the boys are settling into her childhood home. Dallas his brothers and the operatives are working hard to make it their dream home.
Zoey advocates for Elle. No matter how the Mason brothers feel about her. She is an excellent receptionist and secretary and an natural born teacher. Who better to help TJ and DJ.

This is brilliant. I love the bits in between that Cara Carnes generously gives to her readers... for free, no less!

Little insights to all their thoughts, how different dynamics work, some of the aftermath explained. Love it!

New Dawn is the Novella from Carnes that takes place between Blood Vows and Zero Trace. It gives us a recap of our favorite characters plus a glimpse of whats to come. I absolutely love these bridge stories that Carnes has put up on her website for fans to read. Happy birthday!!

This addresses what happened in Book 3 with Kamren's crazy sister, the boys adjustments, Riley's conservation with Brant about how he treated Kamren because of the so called rumors. Additional story coming in next book.

I adore everything by Cara Carnes, the short stories in between are a great treat that always gives you more of a look at the end of the last book and then introduces the next book.

Intertwined with some steamy scenes of the honeymoon being taken by Mary, Dylan, Vi and Judson at a gorgeous tropical island resort, we get a look at the rest of the players in this series.

First we see Kamryn with TJ and DJ, as she encounters their hoarding of food. Reassuring these two and having them believe that sort of thing isn't necessary is going to take time. I love the interactions between Dallas and Kamryn, and the love they lavish on their boys.

A girls night out gives us a glimpse of Bree, Addy, Riley, more Kamryn but it's a little confrontation with Zoey and Gage that perks the interest.

A wonderful transition between Blood Vows and the continuing story in Zero Trace. It answers some questions and expands on some events.

Lots of heat, it is a honeymoon after all, some fun and I guess you could say some interesting testing.

I am so looking forward to the next book in this series!

Dylan and Mary are now married. They had a double ceremony with Jud and Vi and they are all in their honeymoon.
Kam is learning how to be a mom. TJ and DJ are trying to let hard habits go and be little boys.
I love these novellas to fill on some gaps between the next book and to let us know a little bit about what is going on between.

I have not yet found one book in this series that i didn't love and Cara Carnes has nailed this one!

Excellent short story. It was so good to fill in some of my hanging questions about the fall out after the last story. The update was very helpful.
