Molly is excited when she gets a summer job at the elite Southoak Stables. She is quickly drawn to Chesterfield, and they form a strong bond.

Another great book from Carrie Bates.
Another great book from Carrie Bates. I really enjoyed this book. It is a quick read and has me guessing from the very beginning to the last pages. Can't wait for the next story from Carrie Bates.

Awesome
I've read this book before and had forgotten. But, reread it anyway. Who doesn't love horses and a good ghost story. Still an awesome book.

Not a bad take on a haunted stable. Nice to read a different location for a haunting.

A great horse and ghost story....
What do a disappearing man, a filly that isn't there and horses who are scared and nervous in the stable, add up to? A haunted stable!! Molly thinks she is seeing things but when she keeps seeing them she thinks she is going crazy! But then an old employee comes to visit and starts telling them a story of 2 disappearing stable regulars. What happened all those years ago? The ending is chilling! What will turn up? Read this book to get the answers. Horse luvers and ghost story luvers will luv this book. Highly recommended for all ages.

I don't believe that this was the right narrator for what is supposed to be a scary book. The story needs work because it seems to be written for children, not adults. Nice story but I was disappointed.

This is a very good story.
Good little story, kind of reminded me of Nancy Drew! Well written and clever, appropriate for anyone who likes mysteries.

I gave this read 5 as it was a beautiful little story and a glory to read, ghostly but sad, really enjoyed it.

Reads almost like a Nancy Drew Mystery. Easy reading and entertaining for Halloween.
