Sassy, sexy and sweet. This is Astra and Blazes’ story. Werewolf Alpha Blaze is sent in to protect fire witch Astra from the Order of Salem who are determined to kill the descendants of the women killed in the Salem witch trials. Astra is sweet, a little flaky and fun. Blaze and Astra are combustible together. You aren’t going to be able to dowse these flames.

Book 3 in Spellstruck in Salem by Milly Taiden
Astra is a witch that own a health shop with her twin Selene and after doing a reiki session with a client she finds out there a witch hunters and she tries to kidnap her but Blaze come to the rescue.
Blaze is alpha of his pack and runs a successful shifter bar. This book has the main characters getting on straight away and not much drama about witch/shifter thing which I enjoyed.
I think this is my favourite in series because Astra is funny laidback and puts so fun into story.
Can’t wait for Selene especially after the end of Astra book.

With a fire witch and a wolf named Blaze you know this story ie HOT.. This series is getting intense the Order is unpredictable and unstable . Astra really embraced the mate thing much easier than her cousins but it definitely wasn't easy for them... I look forward to see what is coming...

This is a good shifter/witch romance, with a likable couple. It was much better than the first two books in this series, simply because the h was much more likable. It gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 stars.
Astra was so much more likable than the heroines from the first two books. She didn't automatically assume that Blaze couldn't be trusted, simply because he was a man. She was willing to give him a chance, and explore her attraction to him. She wasn't even bothered with being his mate, because it appealed to her. I also thought her magical abilities were pretty cool, but I won't give spoilers.
Blaze was the most likable of all the heroes so far in this series. He gave Astra time to get to know him a little, before telling her she was his mate. He didn't push her to accept him before she was ready, and didn't make her think that he disapproved of her magical abilities.
One other thing, and this is minor, but it is a pet peeve of mine. The characters on the book covers should look like the description of the characters in the books. Blaze is described as having black hair and Astra is described as having red hair -- but the couple on the cover both have brown hair. This may not be the author's fault, but it still bugs me.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

The perfect example of the past infecting the present…
Astra Bishop was one of the well known Bishop twins who specialises in Holistic healing and Reiki massage, she excels at her job and is usually fully booked however, occasionally she has the odd customer that seems to drain her more than other and Mrs Gellar is a prime example of this but she doesn’t know why.
Imagine her surprise when she discovers that the Order Of Salem is once again alive and well and they have focused their minds on killing anyone that is a direct descendant of those witches executed all those hundred of years before and they are coming for the Bishop twins first and their cousins also twins.
Blaze head of his wolf pack and owner of his own bar had long ago given up on ever discovering his Fated Mate until the fateful day he was asked to help protect the Bishop twins and had known instantly that Astra was in fact his long awaited mate and she could feel there was something special between them as well, although not being a shifter made it not as obvious.
This was another wonderful read and I cannot wait for the next book in this series, the girls and their protectors have been simply wonderful and the story just keeps on drawing you in.
Once you begin reading this amazing book you will not be able to put the book down until you reach the end and discover the outcome.

Blaze and Astra
Another witch is being kidnapped by the witch hunters. You may be surprised by the kidnapper. Blaze is in charge of saving and protecting Astra, just one of the Salem witches in danger. As alpha of his wolf shifter pack, protecting her could be saving his pack as the local shifters have all agreed and sent protectors for each of the cousins to make sure they are safe.
Since Blaze has saved her she is willing to go with him. It has nothing to do with how hot he is. She may have cooperated to come with him doesn't mean she's just going to do his bidding. Blaze knew right away she was his and now wasn't the time to tell her. He was in going to see while she may have come with him didn't mean she was just going to sit in the corner and follow his commands. Life wasn't that easy.
Learning about the power of witches and his mate would come at a time they needed to work together to save each other and their packs and families.
Steam, magic, alpha power, and a growing love were in it for the couple. Could they find their future or would they lose taken out the people who wanted them dead? Another good one from Salem and the author.

Spellstruck in Salem was short, sweet and a nice addition to the Casters and Claws series.
Astra, a holistic healer is caught up in a kidnapping attempt by a little old lady as the Order of Salem make their move to take out the Bishop witches in a coordinated attack. Alpha of the Marblehead pack, Blaze, arrives in time to save the sassy redhead and takes her back to his bar to protect her as Salem’s law enforcement work toward bringing down The Order.
Astra read like a teenage girl at times, taking things in her stride a little too calmly and more content to play barmaid instead of hiding like she probably should have been. The lack of conflict between the main characters made their relationship seem immature and rushed.
While I enjoy the idea of this series I felt that instead of cruising the cereal aisle the plot really could have done with a sprinkling of spice instead of sugar at least to give the reader a reason to fight for them. It looks like we’ll get a little of that with Selena’s story and for that reason I will be continuing with The Casters and Claws universe.

Astra uses her innate magical abilities to make a living as a Reiki Masseuse. The health shop she runs with her twin is doing well but she doesn't love every client. One old dear makes her skin crawl if she's honest! But when said old dear tries to kidnap her at gunpoint Astra is a tad flummoxed. Especially when a tall, handsome hero comes to her aid.
Blaze almost missed his chance to rescue Astra. But once he has explained what it happening with the witch hunters of Salem, Astra quite calmly agrees to go with him (She is certainly more trusting that her cousins from books 1 and 2!) Blaze decides to hide her out above his Shifter bar - surely one of the safest places to stash an on the run witch?
I loved Blaze and Astra. Astra could have come across as a Holistic hippy dippy but she is full of common sense and good ideas! Blaze may be the Alpha and the owner of a bar but that doesn't mean the man lacks ambition - he just put family and pack first. Way less dramarama with this couple which was a nice change if I'm honest.

My favourite so far.
We now switch to the twin cousins of Raven and Cerise from the first two books.
I preferred the less antagonistic attitude of Astra in this book. She is fun, light hearted, open and happy to have a mate and boy what a cutie in Blaze.
Astra runs a health shop with her sister Selene. She is a Reiki healer and has a client that she swears is evil. Astra is proven correct when the client tries to kidnap her.
Blaze is the alpha of the other wolf pack from nearby and turns up in time to save Astra.
After waiting what feels like forever, he is pleasantly surprised to find Astra is his mate.
This means protection of the witch just become more personal.
A good fun read with very likeable characters.

This was my favorite couple out of the series. Astra didn't fight with Blaze just to be obstinate, and though Blaze was very dedicated to protecting Astra he didn't dismiss her opinions out of hand. I do wish we had gotten a bit more of their past in the story. Seeing as how they had just met, it would have been good to see them talk more, I felt like they skipped a bit of the "getting to know you" stage. The fated mate trope does tend to the insta-love, which I still thought worked in this story, but I wanted to see a bit deeper conversation. I did like seeing how Astra and Blaze worked together, they have a good balance going during the story.
I'm looking forward to the last story in the series, but this one will be hard to top.

Astra (witch) and Blaze (werewolf) story and what a great one this one is! Alpha Blaze is sent to protect the fire witch Astra from the Order of Salem which is a group of racist people who want to murder anyone who is a witch or from the line of witches back in the day of the Salem withes. Fate has matched up these two together and this is one story that is so amazingly good that one can't really say to much without giving the storyline away. The only thing i can say is Astra is a fire witch and Blaze well look at his name LOL perfect mate match! This is my favorite of the three books in the series so far. Each book can be read as a stand alone but hey read them all together to get the entire full experience and there is still another to go.

This is Book 3 in the Casters & Claws series. This was a really good book. We meet Astra, who is a reiki master. She has a client that she really doesn’t enjoy being around and for a good reason! She ends up trying to kidnap her. This is when Alpha Blaze steps in. He’s sent to guard her and turns up in time to save her. The chemistry between these two will rock your boat on a calm day! They go through a lot together in this book and I have to say that there’s not a dull moment in the book. I highly recommend you read the first two books to get all the wonderful flavor, but you don’t have to read them to understand what’s going on. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Booksprout.

We finished up the Caster and Claws series by Milly Taiden with the 3rd and 4th book for this episode. Taking place at the same time as the previous 2 books, we follow the “meet - rescue” of Astra and Blaze in Spellstruck in Salem and Selene and Jett in Surrendered in Salem. This set of twins is a bit more open and interested in their fated mate wolf shifters than the first set of Bishop twins. It made for two fun and sexy books to finish up the series. We discuss the hot sex scenes Milly is so good at writing. Also, our frustration with the disconnect between the models on the covers and the character descriptions from the books. In the end, this is a quick, fun, steamy series with four badass witches and 4 hunky wolf shifters!

Sweet & Sassy! I love to read books from Milly Taiden. Spellstruck is the third book in Salem is Casters and Class series. This is Blaze and Extra story. Alpha Blaze is sent in to protect fire witch Astra. Astra is sweet and fun. Blaze is pleasantly surprised to find Astra is his mate. This is a quick, fun read. Milly Taiden has done it again with another great addition to the series. I can't wait to read more from this author. Keep up the amazing work! You will NOT be disappointed with reading any of Milly Taiden books.

Astra is a kick
Astra is a witch who lives life in fast forward. She's smart, funny and brave in a smart way. She and Blaze are a team as soon as he saves her the first time. These 2 really feel like they're meant to be together. They complement and admire each other from the beginning, and it isn't just about looks, either.
The conflict here is just the Order of Salem, though why they come after Astra so hard isn't explained.
There is a setting inconsistency at the end that bothered me, but otherwise this was a very satisfying read. Much better than the 1st 2 books, and can be read as a stand-alone.

This is Blaze and Astra's story . Astra is fun to read she is funny and her outlook on life just seems to flow with this one ! But just what is she supposed to do when she is held up by a gun ? In an old lady's hand ? I mean really I do not want to hurt her ! Blaze is the alpha of his pack and just wants to find his mate he has looked forever with not a trace of her . When these two meet the sparks and holy cow hold onto your panties hits ! I adore fast paced well written stories and this is another hit ! Well written and recommended to all !

She stole his heart. - Listened to the Audible version. Blaze and Astra are thrown together when he is sent to save her from the witch hunters. Who knew old Mrs. Gellar was a nut job! Tensions rise right along with their desire as they outrun, outgun, and out-magic the enemy. Of all the Bishop ladies, Astra seems to be the most levelheaded, actually talking with and listening to her alpha mate vice just bristling against him. Blaze is a great mate, feeling contrite when he issues commands to his lady, even if it's to save her life. Another great entry to the series! Love the narrators!

Another enjoyable and entertaining read and a great addition to the series. Plenty of intrigue, action, suspense, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. Unlike the previous stories, Astra doesn’t give Blaze a hard time. She is pretty happy to accept his help. Blaze is pretty infatuated with Astra and is happy to have finally found his mate.

I can not wait to see what else is in store for these sisters, just the level of wow that keeps you wanting more to see where the story will go after everything that has happened. Blaze and Astra are a couple to work with. Astra gets kidnapped and by whom will have you like Nooo. Thank goodness she has sexy Blaze to protect her. But its going to be tricky with him being the Alpha of his pack. With everything that is going to c ramp the good thing out of all this is finding out who your mate is. This was a interesting read. I enjoyed it.

Burn baby burn
Astra and Blaze are such wonderful characters and so amazing together. I love that Astra is more than just a little bit silly and how Blaze is laid back and content to let Astra do her thing. Make no mistake, he is the alpha of his pack and strong when he needs to be. This book fits perfectly with the rest of the series and I really enjoyed the characters path to their HEA. I can’t wait to read the next book.

(Blaze & Astra) : so far, Astra is my favorite Bishop witch. She's the only one that did not give her wolf a lot of grief during the protection process and she's also the only one that needed to do something constructive while in hiding. Blaze is probably the most chill of the two alphas and he seems to be madly in love with Astra almost immediately but tries to hide it. These two are hot tamales and they're even funnier. I liked this story the best.

Astra and Blaze were my favorite. I loved the instant attraction from them. I loved that she was funny, cute and went with him without a fight. I love love love how shifters know right away...it’s like finding your sole mate. I love anything to do with Salem Witches and this book had it all.

This series just gets better and better, but that's just Ms Taiden's way. Astra and Blaze are in the midst of dealing with witch hunters and they realize that they are fated mates. So they are fighting to stay alive as well as together, so one click and join them on their journey. I volunteered to read and review an advance reader copy .
