This is the THIRD Box Set in the New York Times best-selling, Shopping for a Billionaire series which continues with:
> A zany post-Vegas-wedding mess where Andrew and Amanda have to figure out WHO they married (in book 9), > The chauffeur/bodyguard has his own second-chance romance (in book 10) > Shannon and Declan have a honeymoon with a lot of, erm... bite (in book 11).
How could you go wrong with so much laughter, heart, and plenty of steamy romance?
The Shopping for a Billionaire Box Set Three includes: Book 09: Shopping for a CEO's Fiancée Book 10: Shopping for an Heir Book 11: Shopping for a Billionaire's Honeymoon
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 5 New York Times bestsellers and more than 21 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French, German, and Italian, with more titles releasing in the future.
From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men's room toilet (and he isn't a billionaire in a rom com).
She also writes romantic suspense as Meli Raine, sexy shifter romances as DJ Jennings, billionaire shifters as half of the author team Diana Seere, and co-authors with Elisa Reed.
She lives in New England with her husband and three children in a household where she is the only person with the gene required to change empty toilet paper rolls.
Shopping for a CEO's Fiancée I hurt. My ribs ache. I can't catch my breath. I feel like I was the one running Vince's training course, not Andrew. All the books in this series are funny, but I don't remember laughing as hard during any of them as I have through this one. We've seen Amanda through Shannon's eyes so it was very interesting to see her from the perspective of the man who loves her. To see more of her heart. In previous books we've watched Andrew behave like quite the jerk. It was really a revelation to see the sensitive, poet's soul that he hides from the world. My heart bled for him so many times as he tried to create the perfect moment for a proposal. And all of those times when their words couldn't convey the right meanings to each shredded my emotions. In a lot of ways it felt like there wasn't much emotional middle-ground, swinging from delight to despair and back again. I almost felt like I should be crying through the whole book: half the time because I was laughing so hard and the rest of the time from Andrew's tragic miss-steps. The artistry and imagery of the words in this book are such that I can so easily imagine every one of these impossible situations happening right in front of me. I can't wait to see what this zany cast of characters gets up to next. Shopping for an Heir I loved getting the chance to see Gerald out from behind the wheel. He is so much more than just a chauffeur and member of the Anterdec security team. Suzanne is such a strong, fierce woman. I loved seeing her paired with Gerald. With a decade of unresolved feelings for each other to work through, they have their work cut out for them. The mysterious inheritance adds an unexpected note of intrigue to the story. It was a complete hoot having most of the rest of the Shopping cast drop in for cameo appearances. Nobody makes me question my sanity quite like Marie Jacoby. Shopping for a Billionaire's Honeymoon Side-splittingly funny. I'm not joking. I laughed so much my ribs still hurt. We don't get to see most of the zany antics of their family and friends directly "on-screen" this time around. But in a style that can only belong to Shannon and Declan, we get to watch Murphy's Law at it's vindictive finest. What are the worst things that can happen on a billionaire's honeymoon? Just read to find out.
I’m binge reading the series and being ever curious I had to read these books. It troubles me in Shopping for a billionaires honeymoon that a mature business women,Shannon doesn’t understand her husbands command of business and acts like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum. There is humor in some of their antics but the secrets aren’t funny, nor are their disasters. Book9 in the series is amusing not knowing who Andrew and Amanda are married to and the lengths he will go to, to prove his love. The underscored class arguments between the Jacoby’s and the McCormicks are just irrational and become irritating constantly being repeated. Shannon is marrying a man with money. She’s a business women who continues to fight with him over spending except when it’s convenient like transportation. (Spoiler)She can’t accept gifts but it’s ok for him to buy her a company. The 10 book Heir is interesting and adds more information about the families while it distracts with a story about a rescued religious artifact and a past love affair between Gerald, the bodyguard/chauffeur and Suzanne the McCormick family lawyer. He had PTSD and left her heart broken. The story could have been so much more developed. The premise is good but it could have been better with more mystery. And yet I am still curious about Andrew and Amanda. Does James have an affair with Pam? Will Terry and Carol end up together? Will Marie go on a medication to control her manic behavior? Spoiler: when Declan finally told Marie off effectively, and described how selfish and controlling she was and how it was not in her daughters best interest but in her own, it was about time. And yet I am reading on! I am addicted to these families.
Shopping for a Billionaire Box Set Three (Books 9-11) was another great and funny read by Julia Kent. This box set consists of; Shopping for a CEO’s Fiancée (follows Amanda and Andrew), Shopping for an Heir (follows Gerald), and Shopping for a Billionaire’s Honeymoon (follows Shannon and Declan). This was another great set by Julia Kent. I can’t wait to read more by Julia Kent.
Not sure if it’s me or the books but I feel like each subsequent story gets shorter and less exciting. I love the characters though and I still love the author’s humor.
Laughter all the time. Every time you turn the page someone is doing or saying something, that makes you laugh . would highly recommend this series whether you need a good belly laugh.
I have loved seeing the interaction of all these characters. They have kept me laughing and on the edge of my seat waiting to see how they are going to tackle the next event. I can't wait to see how the story progresses.
Loving this whole series. Love all the back and fourth between all the couples. Love the loyalty they have for everyone they care about. Can’t wait to read more.
