NOW AVAILABLE!!

J. Nathan continues her Savage Beasts series with an emotional tale of two opposites who find sexy love in their rock and roll world.

Despite his rough start in life, Treyton Collins has made it big. Together with his best friend Kozart Savage and the rest of their band, they’ve climbed the rock charts and are now a world renowned rock and roll band. He has fame and fortune, but the one thing he doesn’t have is a family to call his own. Could it be possible to find the one thing he’s missing in the only woman who can’t stand him?

When it comes to her job as Savage Beasts’ publicist, Brielle Patrick is cold and calculating. She’s helped them from the beginning. However her latest move put her at odds with the guys. Needing a break from her life and looking to repair her relationship with the band, she accompanies them on their world tour. She never expected her frenemies relationship with Treyton to develop into more, but can two people with trust issues find a way to believe in each other?

There are only a handful of authors whose book compilation I’ve read in its entirety, J. Nathan is one of them. I’m a huge fan of her captivating writing style, fascinating characters and engaging stories. Treyton is a wonderful addition to her collection.

I can’t say that I was a big fan of Brielle after her very calculated interference in Kozart’s personal life in the previous book, but I wanted to know what made her tick, what was behind that frosted exterior and especially curious about her unlikely relationship with the sexy drummer. Treyton gave me that and more. I loved her strength and independence that hid her caring vulnerable side and how once she got to know Trey, they both found they had a lot in common.

I felt so sad for the loss and hardships Treyton had to go through at such a young age which could easily explain his bad boy status. But mostly I found Treyton to be fun loving and easy going with a lot of energy. I really liked that he was the one who pursued Brie and helped bring their walls down. Despite starting out as complete opposites, Brie and Trey are wonderful together.

And what’s a world tour without traveling the world? I loved all the places J. Nathan took us to in this story, from zip lining in Belgium to visiting the Eiffel Tower all while Brie and Trey deepen their relationship and fall in love.

Treyton is book #2 of the Savage Beasts series by J. Nathan. Treyton is utterly perfect. It is a standalone rocker romance told from the both points of view, filled with sweet, fun, heartwarming and sexy moments and of course an adorably happy ending. No cliffhanger.

Rockstar romances are some of my favorite reads and as this field is saturated, it can be difficult to find a book that doesn’t fit into a cookie cutter formula. Treyton is a breath of fresh air with its engaging storyline, captivating characters, and a beautiful style of writing that is sure draw you in right from the beginning. This is book that you will want to devour in one sitting and will leave you with a smile on your face as you follow Treyton and Brielle’s somewhat rocky journey towards HEA.

He is a tattooed and pierced, fun-loving rocker and she is a hardworking, trendy suit publicist. Could the two be any different?

Treyton, the drummer of Savage Beasts, is the playboy “screw up” of the band and Brielle, as the band’s publicist, cleans up his messes. I found Treyton’s character to be endearing as he is self-assured, but has a hidden depth to him that not many see given his childhood history. As for Brielle, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like her based off of how her character behaved in Kozart, but she won me over. She comes across as confident and stuck up, but she also has an underlying vulnerability about her. These two are seemingly opposites and yet, they are perhaps more alike than different. There is a push pull between them and they are frequently at odds with each other, but they are also so good together. It was entertaining to see how their relationship evolved from tenuous frenemies to lovers.

This book has the perfect combination of drama, romance, steam, and rock ’n’ roll. The story flows well and it will seem like a quick read because it is impossible to not fall in love with these characters. Treyton is book 2 in this author’s Savage Beasts series and it can be read as a standalone - you will not be lost. However, I do recommend reading Kozart as it is also a phenomenal read and because there is a bit of character overlap. I thoroughly enjoyed this rockstar romance and I am looking forward to more of this author’s books. I received an early complimentary version of this book.

I started reading this amazing 10 star story and read it in one sitting. It’s that addicting.

Brielle is a ball buster, who cleans up the rock group, Savage Beasts image. Trey is always getting into trouble. She has a thought exterior but in the inside she’s hurting. Little did she know is Trey has his own set of issues. What started as opposites attracts ends up both of them needing each other for the same issues.

This was an highly addicting and captivating story. It had all the feels. I might have shed a few tears here and there. I loved these characters that made me feel for them. Their stories latch itself to my heart and I just wanted to comfort them.

Once I started reading it, I couldn’t seem to be able to put it down. I was mesmerized by this storyline that made my heart sign at the end. I didn’t see it coming and it was perfect for them. Bottomline this is a 2020 must read.

This is the second story in this series. Rest assured it can be read as a standalone. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

REVIEW: 3.5 STARS
"I tried not to gawk, but he was built like an athlete, tatted up like the rock star he was, and so freaking hot."

Treyton is a feel good story ripe with drama and moments of bliss, followed up with some heartfelt actions. Predictable? Maybe. Formulaic? Somewhat. Cheesy? Not really, but it definitely had some tear-jerk moments that really socked it to my gut. I love this band, and I have enjoyed J Nathan's books in the past, so this was a natural grab for me. I am definitely looking forward to more of these guys' stories in this series.

As sweet as this one was, I struggled far more than I wanted to. When Trey and Brielle were being stubborn and working through their attraction, I was on board and getting all the anxiety pangs that I love when you're fighting destiny. When they were battling it out, I was right there with them, pointing my finger....but some of it was a little rough around the edges.

I don't feel that Brielle was thoroughly fleshed out, so I got more of a surface type background that didn't totally jive with the abilities and actions of her in this current stage of her life. She was able to do things that didn't necessarily line up with who she was now.....and those "certain set of skills" weren't things you just retained. Definitely not muscle memory. Does that make me hate the book? Noooo. It just added a level of separation for me that I didn't want to feel with this story, as well as a little side-eye action. I wanted better details and more familiarity.

"I needed him to regret hurting me. I needed him to feel the pain I'd felt after overhearing him and Z talk about me. I needed him to realize what he'd lost when he didn't trust me. And I need him to prove I was the only person in the world for him."

I also struggled immensely with Brielle's immaturity in some aspects. I don't want to confuse immaturity with emotional pain, because I am not that cold hearted and can completely understand the variables that each emotion possesses. I grappled with her professional persona and her personal life - and how they played into her relationship with Trey. Those didn't blend very well, nor was there very much crossover in the common sense department. But, I enjoyed her carefree side when she let loose. I loved when she was able to be giddy with him and fall hard for him and allow her heart to open up. I really did enjoy their dynamic and how hard he sought her out and how hard he worked at breaking her down. One of my favorite things to see.

The other side to that was that Treyton felt very developed and I connected with him a lot easier. I got a background on him. His quirks, his free personality, but also his vulnerability. She gave me that. I read him with confidence and I knew where he stood. He definitely made me weak in the knees. He gave me the anxiety pangs I so desperately crave. His pleading and his eyes, his heart and his vulnerability....mixed with his whispered truths. *bites nails* It was so perfectly "Trey" and I absolutely adored him.

PIVOT!! There is absolutely nothing I hate more than abhorrent parenting and the evil way they treat their kids and I definitely don't like reading it. I feel like it's a drama that is completely unnecessary in a story - no matter how bad you need to set up a hurting childhood background. It honestly ruins things for me, and unfortunately that happened with this one. Gosh, it really took me completely out of the story and it bothered me a lot, and not in the good way of eliciting emotions. I think it's immature and petty and I find myself pushing that anger onto the storyline itself instead of compartmentalizing it. I just don't like that drama and I most definitely don't like how it always plays out and it just leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth.

So, even though I struggled more with this one than I wanted to, it was still a great addition to the Savage Beasts series and I cannot wait for more books with this band. With every negative, there was definitely a positive - so this review will sit squarely in the middle with me but I am still very excited for more.

"This was getting real. This was getting really freaking real."

I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

Can you read this book without reading the first one? I think you can but I also think that you will miss on little things that refers to situations that happened in the first book. But still, I think it can be read as a standalone too.

After reading and loving ‘Kozart’ the first book in this rock star series, I was very curious about the next story. And this time we get the story of Treyton (the drummer of the band) and Brielle (their publicist). Although we got to see glimpses of them in the first book, it was only that, glimpses. Not enough to really get to know them, so that got me very curious about them.

How would these two people who were so opposite of each other fall in love? One thing that they had in common is that both learned from an early age to hide their most vulnerable side, their heart and feelings from the outside world. To only show the people around them what they wanted them to see. Treyton did this by being the bad boy, who showed everyone a fun time and Brielle by becoming a business woman with attitude in a men world. For years, they only see each other this way too until that all change and they get to know each other on a much deeper level, bit by bit.

I liked both characters very much. Brielle is this hard-working, dependable, calm woman who also has a funny, adventures side that she hides and Treyton is charming, funny, easy-going and confident but he also has a sensitive and serious side hidden. The chemistry and the banter between Brielle and Treyton were entertaining, funny and emotional. I loved every minute of it. The writer again created a story that is easy to read with amusing moments in it but also with a lot of emotions. And again she wrote about a difficult theme but without making it too dark or difficult. No, it’s writing with hope and positivity. That is one of the things that I like about J. Nathan’s stories.

The story is told in both POV’s. This time we get to know the band ‘Savage beasts’ much better and it’s wonderful to see Z and Aubrey back. It’s also fascinated to see how life is when the band makes a world tour. I’m so happy that the writer not only have us one but two epilogues!!
When I started this book, I didn’t expect it but Treyton really gave Z some hard competition here for the most favourite band member and boyfriend in this rock star series.

I’m already wondering if the writer will write more stories in this series. If so, I’m looking forward to them!

It has been a while since I read Kozart by J. Nathan the first book in the Kozart Savage Beasts' Series but it only took me a few minutes of reading "Treyton" and I was right back in the middle of the story. That alone is an accomplishment that deserves a few stars thrown in because of the number of books I read in between these two.

You can read Treyton as a standalone but as it's story is connected to Kozart because of the secondary characters – I would always recommend starting at the beginning to get the full entertainment and to not spoiler yourself.

I loved the fire between the leading characters. Trey and Brie had real chemistry and with all the contradictions that were floating around their story was almost explosive and from turning the first page until the very last one I was captured in their world.

For my very and I mean VERY special taste I would have loved a little more light in some areas of the story like Trey's past - but understanding "artistic/writer's freedom" - this is really just my personal preference as the story worked fine without that.

There was a moment near the peak of the story where I was wondering about the reasons for certain actions of some of the characters – but again that was only me always questioning tiny details that probably only half of the readers even would notice – if at all ….

Yes I have an OCD with details and timelines – like – with all the times I have been in Belgium – I never heard of someone ordering a pitcher with beer. Pitchers I know from the States and sometimes the UK but the only thing in pitchers around Europe as far as my knowledge goes are cocktails and only in very rare cases. I think in Munich you might get thrown out of any "Kneipe" (pub/bar) where you tried asking for a pitcher of beer … But is this relevant to the story? No so just ignore my rambling hahaha

So if this story was so explosive and I ignored my own OCD – why can I not give 5 stars? A good and valid question – the 5th star is my "pure feelings" - and the only thing that I was missing in this great story was that I personally had no "heartbreak", "laughing out loud", "sigh" or "anger" moment – the story was floating perfectly without and "spike" - and while I know many readers prefer their perfect entertainment I crave these moments like air.

But in my world 4 stars is a solid writing with well-developed characters and plot that I can only recommend and I  honestly hope there will be more books in this series as I can not wait to hear about the other characters that so far have only been secondary. Until then I will read the 3 remaining books of that author that - as I realized just now – I haven't read so far.

Loved this drummer, he'll melt your heart!❤

Brielle Patrick has been the publicist for world renown rock band, Savage Beasts for 5 years and her eyes are burnt from the things she's seen and had to 'fix' for these guys. Treyton Collins has proved to be the most challenging of all of them- a playful manchild, getting himself into so much trouble, she's become numb to it. He's a lover of women...apparently...funny, but most of all, an extremely talented musician. Brielle and Trey have a had an up and down working relationship all these years, so when she decides to finally go on tour with them for the first time, it's not what she expected. Brielle discovers that looks can be deceiving when it comes to a certain frustrating man! I loved getting to know him along with Brie..he was hot, sweet and everything in between, who knew??? Gotta love a sexy drummer.

Trey has more hidden layers than he lets on. Only Kozart, aka 'Z', his best friend and band mate from teens to now, knows what's trally underneath the surface. Trey begins to notice the strength behind Brie's bluster, the humor under the professional facade she hides behind, he wants to know more.

So, the thaw begins as he tries to melt her ice and see the real woman he knows is in there somewhere. Brielle is torn by Trey's outward persona and what's going on in his beautiful mind and maybe his heart. So, was I! He was quite irresistible and I might have a teeny crush on him, I'll admit it! I dare you to not feel the same by the end of their story.

Brielle was an awesome person- strong and smart, capable and beautiful, but always trying to prove herself worthy. Her awful truth is she's had so much love from one parent and dealt with feeling totally unloved by the other. As it turned out, she and Trey might just need to be seen for who they are.

Bring the box of tissues along when you read this touching story. Don't worry, some of the tears might be happy ones! This 2nd book made my heart tingle, flutter, crack- but just a little, and then it beat out of my chest at the end! How I just LOVE a perfectly wonderful epilogue to complete a perfectly amazing book. I couldn't put this one down..always a sign of a ☆☆☆☆☆ read for me!

If you love rockstar romances with heart and soul, this 2nd book in the Savage Beasts series is not to be missed. I can only hope there is more to come with 2 band members left with their own stories to tell. Treyton can stand alone but why would you want to miss out??? Start with front man Kosart's road to his HFN and then dive right into Trey. Come on, 2 books is nothing, find a comfy spot and binge away...

J.Nathan never ceases to amaze me with her books. I look forward to every one and have yet to be disappointed. I’m also an advocate of reading them more than once to capture the nuances she has. I find new meanings with each retelling. I highly recommend getting hooked on her writing.

Lordy, who doesn’t love an enemies-to-lovers romance? I know I do—especially when it’s a rock star romance too!!

Treyton is a drummer in the band Savage Beasts. He’s on top of the world professionally. Loves what he does. Loves his fans. But personally, he’s feeling a bit left out as he’s seen his best friend Z fall in love and he’s wondering what he’s missing. But he knows he certainly won’t find that with Brielle and her constant state of RBF whenever she glances his way.

And Brielle’s just touring with the band because it’s her job as their publicist to keep them out of trouble and ensure their PR is clean and clear. Well, at least that’s what she’s telling herself.

But even though Trey and Brielle are combustible like a match to a powder keg, there’s just something between them that they cannot define or deny. And as they really get to know each other, they discover that underneath all that conflict between them there’s a connection, a spark. And it’s about to light that powder keg on fire.

**fans self** Whoa, holy hotness factor here! The snarky banter between Trey and Brielle quickly leads them to some hot AF between the sheet time. They’re perfect for each other—if only they can open up truly trust what they’re feeling. Trust that the other is real and what they’re feeling is too. I couldn’t help but root for Trey and Brielle to get it together and allow love to really bring them together. And the blow up at the end that really seals the deal was epic and awesome.

I love this terrific Savage Beasts series and cannot wait for more from these sexy, smart, amazing rock stars. ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

Book 2 in the Savage Beasts series and it was just as good as the first. This can be read as a standalone. This story centers on the drummer Treyton and the band’s publicist Brie. Loved their story. Brie decided to get away from her boyfriend and father to decompress so she went on tour with the band. Trey and Brie have a love hate relationship so it was fun watching them overcome that and become a couple. Can’t wait to read more of this series.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

J Nathan has done it again! 5 ROCK STARS!!! I thought I loved Kozart, but Treyton just totally stole my heart. This series is rockin’ so far and I am loving it!! So much good stuff in this book!!!! It is such an amazing story about two people, Treyton the rockstar drummer and Brielle his band’s publicist, who appear to be complete opposites and love to hate on each other. Little do they know that deep down they have some very fundamental things in common; things that will ultimately bring them together. I honestly love Brie and Treyton together so much! I was drawn into their story from beginning to end. They have this undeniable chemistry that had them on a collision course with each other for a long time. And let me tell you when they finally do collide, it’s so incredibly sweet, steamy and sexy but most of all satisfying! If he hadn’t already won my heart he would have done it when he meets Claire, then again in Chap 34 and still more in the epilogue. I just loved this book so much! Getting more of Z and Aubrey was great too. I can’t wait for more of the Savage Beasts!!

After reading Kozart last year, which I absolutely LOVED, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next installment of the Savage Beasts guys. Treyton, is a heck of a drummer, uber talented, sort of misunderstood, but when he cares and loves someone important, he does it with all he's got. Brielle, the hard edge, very icy, the stubborn, no holds barred, nothing rattles, a ball buster, a go getter, their serious Publicist, has always wanted to prove herself to her father. The book opened and it just made me so sad and I felt for this girl.

Brielle is sort of on the outs with the band due to an publicity stunt that was almost detrimental to one of the bandmates relationship with the love of his life, so they are all really weary of trusting her again. While she wouldn't normally hop on tour with the band, she needed to get away. She is the fixer, the one who spins bad incidents into good ones for her clients, and Treyton is her biggest pain in the behind.

I absolutely loved this story, the backstory on these two, especially Treyton, so in depth, so heartbreaking, you can't help but to love this guy and want him to get his happily ever after. He is slowly noticing, Brielle, the one thats always been there and he gets to really know her after all these years. Brielle is seeing and feeling everything with Treyton, something she's been missing. She knows she wants more out of life than what she has. This book was just soooo fulfilling, the way it was written, the characters, everything. I absolutely adored their banter, their playfulness with the entire group, all of the Savage Beasts guys. This is a standalone, but honestly, its really worth it to read Kozart. I think readers would really appreciate Treyton more if they started from the beginning.

Okay, I’m have to be real honest here. I love J. Nathan’s books, but I went into this one, Treyton, with a little bit of hesitation. Why? Well, I really, really, really LOVED Kozart - the first (standalone) book in this series. Aubrey was so strong and Kozart, well, he tugged on my heart strings. So when I started Treyton, I THOUGHT I knew the main characters and I THOUGHT I knew where the story was going. But HOLY, I was completely blown away! Like seriously, I read it in one sitting.

I first met Trey and Brie in Kozart and to be honest, I didn’t really like them that much. So I wondered how J. Nathan was gonna redeem this characters in my eyes. But gosh, through the story we saw such character development that honestly, I went from being interested to seeing what would happen to being totally invested in seeing these guys find their HEA.

This was not your typical rocker read. I also wouldn’t necessarily call it a slow-burn. But J. Nathan took the time to show us who Trey and Brie really are individually and as a couple. And their journey?
Holy Hot Surprises! Totally Unexpected Read…

Well I honestly, totally, could not have predicated what happened. I’m an avid reader who reads over 200 new romance novels a year and this was different and emotional and just so freaking good. Seriously.

Take the chance and read this book, It’s a standalone with an HEA rocker romance. Dual POV. Lots of chemistry and heat with the characters and oh so much emotion. My only warning would be that you won’t want to put it down…oh! And I want more…like maybe an extended epilogue because I so want to see more them!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this novel. I am voluntarily and freely providing an honest review.

So good... I devoured this at an alarming rate, not letting anything interrupt my enjoyment of this chemistry-filled, light yet also heartbreaking read. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about Treyton (the character) at first, but I should not have worried because he was so, so swoonworthy - kind of adorable but also sexy and focused on his girl. His backstory plays a major role in the story, which takes this otherwise light read and adds an emotional punch. It flew by and left me wanting more of this series of rock star romances.

The story follows Treyton, the troublemaking drummer of a major rock band whose antics cause his PR team plenty of headaches. It's been Brielle's job for the last five years to clean up Treyton's messes, so to say that they are an unlikely couple would be an understatement - even if Brielle didn't have a boyfriend and Treyton was capable of more than a one night stand. Brielle is so focused on her work that Treyton only sees the buttoned up side of her, and Treyton causes Brielle so much trouble that she only sees the wild. When Brielle joins the band on tour for the first time and they decide to call a truce, the dynamics change. Treyton and Brielle dig deeper for the first time and discover that they have a lot more in common than either expected.

Kozart was my introduction to J. Nathan's work and I really loved that story, so I was looking forward to more from the series. Treyton absolutely did not disappoint. It's a quick read that flies by, but there's enough depth that you really feel like you get to know the characters. They're so much more than what they seem on the surface, and the chemistry that sparks between Treyton and Brielle was easy to see from the very beginning. It's not often that I want my romances to be longer, but my only complaint would be that I wanted MORE of these two. Here's hoping we get more from this series of standalones - there's certainly plenty of untapped potential there. I received an ARC via Give Me Books and am voluntarily leaving a review of this rock star romance.

4 1/2 "Rocking" Stars

When I saw that there was another installment to the Savage Beasts series, I was thrilled to receive a review copy. When I learned the book was about Treyton and Brielle, I was excited to see what magic the author would need to work to make those two fall in love. Well, let me just tell you it was pretty amazing!

Treyton is one of the band's most high maintenance members who Brielle is constantly "covering" for and getting out of questionable PR debacles. She's formed an opinion of him based on her interpretation of his behavior, but is he really who she thinks he is? I absolutely loved seeing these two go from animosity within their work relationship to a tentative friendship and eventually to a romantic relationship.

I didn't think I could cheer for another couple as hard as I did for Kozart and Aubrey but I found myself pulling just as hard for Treyton & Brielle. Their back stories were both so tragic that it just broke my heart for them. I wanted the relationship to work so they would have one another.

I received a review copy from the author via NABC in exchange for my honest review.

Ona je sva poslovno odelo, a on pocepane farmerke.
Ona je ozbiljna, on voli zabavu.
Ona ima stav, a on to mrzi.
Međutim, to nije razlog zašto putuje Evropom dva meseca.
Ocena 3☆

Yet again, this author has managed to turn the whole “rock star trope” on its ear. Trey and Brielle are constantly at each other’s throats, but there’s an attraction under all that ire and annoyance that they can’t hide from forever. In time, Trey pushes Brie hard enough to relax and just be the human she tries to forget she is, and Brie gives Trey someone to trust and maybe even love. That is, until life deals them a cruel betrayal and Trey swiftly and cruelly cuts Brie out of his life. What he doesn’t realize is that when he and the band cut her out of their lives, Brie is left with nothing and no one on her side. But that doesn’t stop her from forcing one foot in front of the other to try to move on from the pain and emptiness of her life. And when Trey finds out just how utterly wrong he was, he grovels like a man desperate and determined to get his woman back. I wanted to cry for Brie, and even Trey, and loved their HEA.

I really like how this author pushes the men in her stories to a decent grovel when they’ve wronged someone, and I enjoyed just how human both Trey and Brie proved to be early on in their book. I’m interested to see what comes next for this band.

I am not a huge fan of rock star books but I really liked this one. It has just the right amount of angst and fun as well two lead characters who are not perfect but not horrible either. The addition of Claire was just the right amount of heart tugging (for a kid) and I didn't metaphorically throw down my Kindle in a fit of rage at what was going on at any time (which never happens in these types of books). Not sure I'll go back and read the other books in this series but you didn't have to, to enjoy this one and the couple in it.

An opposites attract, rockstar romance. Sexy and intriguing, I found myself not wanting to put this books down. Brielle was a strong character and put up with nothing from the band, I liked that about her and quickly found myself rooting for Treyton to win her over. Can be read as a standalone but I recommend book Kozart to anyone reading this book.

"Brie, he was the only one I let call me Brie, and normally he didn't do it in front of the others."
Yep, this quote right here is when I knew it was going to be a wild ride with these two. The kind that will need to learn a lot before they can more to the more mature part of their relationship. These two will make your heart race and your fingers swipe fast to see what happens next. When Brie finally lets her guard down, to allow herself to have a little fun, to feel a little something, and Treyton shows her why she hasn't. Her past issues, his past issues, the trust, and the sincerity of life. Treyton loves life and has made good of a past that wasn't too kind to him. I honestly cannot put into words how much I loved their story and how much I loved how J. Nathan told it. I cannot tell you how I gobbled up this book and I cannot wait for more. I cannot tell you in words how much I love this group of rock stars, their personalities, and their hearts. I love when you feel like you are a part of the story yourself, peeking in, watching their lives, all while sitting in your living room.

I’m absolutely blown away by the feelings radiating from every page! I say feeling because each chapter, each moment, each word spoken evokes so much emotion that you can’t help but be drawn into this story!

J. Nathan captured my attention with Kozart but she has captured my heart as a fan with Treyton! The story goes beyond being just about a boy falling for a girl! It’s about two people finding their place in the world, figuring out how to love themselves as well as others! Treyton and Brie’s story is one you don’t want to miss and one that I highly recommend! I love a story that brings on real topics and hashes out the tough stuff! Nothing like a good emotional read to set your world straight!

Treyton is a famous drummer for the band Savage Beasts, he embraces most of the stereotypical Rockstar ways and Brie being the band’s PR person is always getting him out of sticky situations. At first these two butt heads like no other one because Brie thinks Treyton doesn’t take anything seriously and is causing trouble and secondly Treyton thinks Brie is stuck up and rude. While on tour Treyton decides he wants to get to know Brie better and at first Brie thinks its just a rouse to win a bet but then he starts telling her things he hasn’t told anyone and they bond over the fact the both lost someone close to them when they were young. Brie has spent her entire life trying to get her father’s love and approval, so she is desperate to be part of a family or belong to someone. Trey and Brie finally realize they have a lot in common and even with Treyton’s tragic past he has overcome so many obstacles to be a great man and Brie is still seeking approval that she won’t ever get. Many times, miscommunication and distrusts come up and it seems like they never can get on the same page. When they are good together, they are great but when they are distrusting each other they are hurting each other so can they overcome their trust issues, or will they let the past and miscommunication drag them down? A great read and can’t wait for more.

OH MY GOSHHHHH!!! TREYTON IS AMAZING!!!! I was stunned after reading the last page. I kept flipping the pages restlessly wishing more would be added and that the book never ends, also knowing that the fun and excitement has just begun. I know it's such a cliché saying that I was hooked and didn't want to let go of the book. But yes, it really did and it hit me real hard. My excitement to finish it brought me wide awake till the wee hours of the morning, not realizing that I should be waking up soon (at 5am) to prepare my daughter for school, and myself for work. So yeah, talk about a massive book hangover.

I didn't like Brielle when I first met her coz she tried to keep Kozart and Aubrey apart. Likewise with Treyton coz he was the typical playboy rock star with groupies hanging all over him. But when I started to know them better in this book, I warmed up to them easily. Well actually, I fell in love with both of them instantly. Treyton was so easy to love. I loved how he was when he was with Brielle. I love his cockiness and over protectiveness. I love his humor and wit. I enjoyed his bantering with Brielle. They were always pushing each other's buttons, but slowly worming their way into each other's hearts. When I knew about their pasts, my heart bled and I was easily drawn to their story.

I LOVE the storyline. I love how Treyton and Brielle's relationship developed from not liking each other to being friends, and eventually to something intimately significant. It was kind of a slow burn for me but no doubt in my mind that the heat was slowly and surely becoming intense. I just love how Jen paced their relationship and the dynamics that go with it. I caught myself several times feeling giddy and can't contain my elation whenever they flirted with each other. I was eagerly anticipating what would happen next. I was smiling and my heart was beating fast whenever Brielle and Treyton were together. So when they finally became a couple, I wanted to jump and shout " Yes, finally my wait is over!"

I have always been vocal of my love and admiration for J Nathan's books. Her characters are relatable and easy to fall head over hills with. Her storylines are amazing especially with this book as it dealt with a social issue that I wasn't even aware is happening. Thank you so much Jen for opening my mind and heart to such realities. My heart ached for Treyton and all the others like him in this world. How I wish I can say what it is. But I would be spoiling the story for you. You just have to read this amazing book for you to know about it and maybe do something about it.

Thank you so much Jen for giving me the ARC of this incredible book. The connection to this book felt progressive and instantaneous the moment you open it. I love Treyton and Brielle so much!!! I know I'm gonna be thinking about them for quite awhile and marinate those beautiful, lovely moments I really enjoyed. I was really touched and moved by their story. I cried; I laughed; I swooned. I fell in love! Now I can't wait and I'm super excited to read the next book in this series.

Hands down!!! Hats off!!! Two thumbs up! Enjoy!

I don’t plan to delve for long on this review because the main message is very simple, I loved ‘Treyton’ by J.Nathan and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a contemporary romance.

"I tried not to gawk, but he was built like an athlete, tatted up like the rock star he was, and so freaking hot."

The book started with very emotional prologue that made me connect in human level and feel deeply for Brielle, our main female character. She was strong, stubborn and independent, but at the same time there was so much hidden behind her chilly and professional exterior. You will have to read the book to discover who she really is.

"He knew how to kiss. He knew how to make me feel sexy. He knew how to turn me on like no one else before him."

The first chapter started exactly at the moment where the first book ‘Kozart’ ended and that was actually very satisfying moment, because I loved the first book as well and the end of it was just sweet and exciting, so this beginning brought back good memories. It was also very nice to see Kozart, Aubry and the rest of the band, so I hope we will get also Marcus and Cam’s story.

"“If the way you hate each other most days is any indication of how much you’d love each other, I think it would be freaking amazing.”"

Treyton was an interesting male lead to follow, I fell for him fast. He was easy going and fun guy, but at the same time he was so much more, because of the pain from his past.

"His eyes jumped to mine. “Do I need you right-fucking-now? Absolutely. Will I be the best lay you’ve ever had? Yup. Can I promise a happy ending? No. I don’t believe in them.”"

Trey and Brie had chemistry, sparks and they just pushed each others buttons, which was fun to read about. This was a sweet and steamy hate-to-love romance story. They made each other into better people. And it was wonderful to see how during this story both of them grew and changed as a person and as a couple.

"My heart slammed against the wall of my chest as I stared up into his eyes.
“I lied,” he said.
“About what?”
“I told you I stayed away from things I could get addicted to.”
I tilted my head, confused.
“But I can’t stay away from you.”
My eyebrows shot up, all coherent thoughts escaping me.
“I know I screw up and give you grief. And I know we can’t seem to get along for more than a few days at a time. But there’s something about you, Brie. Something that makes me want to fight with you more than anyone else on this planet, because when you finally come around and smile at me, like really smile and mean it, I’m a goner.”"

Most of the time I’m bored while reading simple contemporary romance books, I prefer comedy or dark romance. However, J.Nathan knows how to put enough emotions in her writing, which makes her stories beautiful and powerful emotional roller-coaster rides, Treyton was no exception. The writing was compelling, characters alive and real, romance was sweet and a bit heart-breaking, plot steady paced and emotionally charged. This is a perfect book for romance fans.

3,5 stars.

I enjoyed this book, but the first one in this series was better. I didn’t care for Brie in Kozart, but the author did a good job with the prologue. It made me sympathise with her and I actually found her character likable. I was a bit scared to read about Trey, because he seemed like a major manwhore in the previous book. But this book was rather safe on that subject. There are some triggers in the book, with adoption, foster care and drug babies. It was emotional to read and I appreciate the author acknowledging the subject in this matter. The ending was a bit over the top in my opinion and unnecessary.

The trope of this book is similar to Amity Cross’s Unbearable, which I hated! But Treyton was executed so much better. I liked the fact that although they’ve known each other for five years, neither one of them were into each other. There was no pining for one party, while the other one was living the fun life clueless of any feelings involved. The romance build up was unrealistic for me. They’ve known each other for five years and all of a sudden jealous feelings take over and it took her only to put her hair down and glasses of for him to notice her. They did get to know each other better, but somehow it didn’t feel believable to me. I liked them doing the world tour. But please when in Belgium, just order the plain waffle! No chocolate, whipped cream and strawberries, it just wastes the goodness of this deliciousness! This book is told in dual POV, but I didn’t like that we had so many chapters with Brie’s POV. I would’ve liked to read more of Trey’s POV, especially on occasions where you didn’t know what he was doing/thinking.

Safety:
Safe with exception (for me). Heroine was in a relationship with OM for one year. He isn’t on page, because she is with the band on their 2 month world tour. She breaks up with him on the phone. Hero was a manwhore, but claims he doesn’t sleep with every women he’s seen with. Not knowing what to make of that. He’s seen with women in this book, but it’s unclear if he is intimate with them. In one case early on in the book I believe he is, but his POV afterwards made me doubt it. Considering the length of the world tour and how long it took for both MC’s to even share a kiss, I doubt he was celibate. Both certainly not celibate since meeting each other, heroine was in a relationship and hero screwed (almost) all the groupies. No cheating, OM/OW drama or sex scenes with OP.
