Storm's Consequences: A Story of Domestic Violence
Storm Burson is beautiful inside and out. Since the beginning of time she has been head over hills in love with her boyfriend Consequence. Together since the tender age of sixteen, it’s safe to say that Consequence was the love of her life. Although his reactions to certain things weren’t always the best, Storm always found a way to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
But soon Storm’s fairytale love turns into a nightmare and Storm finds herself beaten, bruised and completely broken. Never did she imagine having to choose between herself and the man she gave her heart to. Forced to make a decision, Storm is hurt and confused. Should she continue fighting for the love of her life, or has she held on for too long?
Consequence loved the way Storm submits her heart, body, mind, and soul to him. She is the only woman who can handle his complicated temper. Storm understood Consequence and her love was pure and straight from the heart, because of that, he will never leave her side but would his vicious ways push her away?
Trying to keep control over what he claimed as his, Consequence will have his hands cut out for him. Taking a ride on the roller coaster called love, he’s forced to face the aftermath of his complicated temper.
With both Storm and Consequence determined to make their relationship work both parties are about to find out the underlying meaning of fighting for your life.

The book was good from the beginning to the end. The only thing I hated was how can you be with a man like that and he had a wife at home, was glad when she woke up and beat his ass, would have like it to be a little longer.The story line seem to be rushed,
I would recommend this book to everyone, the experience was something everyone could relate to it because it was real life experience

Intense !!!!
That was a really good book . I really like the fact that it was short but intense . We were able as reader to feel every emotions of Storm . Too bad that we didn’t have an update of Consequence at the end .

Awesome read
So so happy that Storm found her strength to leave Consequence. Consequence was so vile and just plain evil. Happy she found someone who truly loved her.

Crazy how we think we're in love.
This was deep at times I found myself getting upset at Storm, but I had to realize that she was blind. I'm glad she beat Consequence behind. She didn't do enough to me. He was a vile man I will say that. Disgusting human!

Whew honey let me tell you...the stuff Storm went thru, I can feel her pain in some ways & in others I can't. I'm been thru my own hell when it comes to DV but honey the things this poor baby went thru & still managed to love that beast & even blamed herself many times? Uh uh no! When I tell you this book is well written honey I mean it! Would have been done sooner because i could barely put the book down but work intervened. I'm glad I read this one here because you get infinity stars from me Authoress Brittany! Excellent job!

Great Triumph
As I read this story it was so hard for me to fathom being in this predicament. All I could think about was how “I” would leave or how “I” would plan his murder. Ironically at the end when she did plan her ending, all I could think was, “ that m not going to jail for his a$$”. In conclusion, it’s very hard to say what u would really do better hen place in a situation of domestic violence. Praying for strength for the day women AND men in this horrific situation.

Great learning experience
This was good it hit home a lot for me I don't get physically abuse but when every time you go out or go to work and get accused of doing shit you not doing is abuse 2 it's to the point where I don't go anywhere and he was the one who was caught cheating before so I feel her pain this was a great story

Wow!!
This book drew me in from the beginning. This page turner was so brutally honest and straight forward. I was literally speechless. I was hoping and praying Storm would finally get some backbone. I was afraid Consequence would beat her to death. This book was so good and very well written. I'll be sure to read more from this author.

Consequences
Consequence was a piece of work, but Storm was very naive. She met him young and he still grew up and married someone else; however, she allowed herself to be broken by this man. I’m glad the ending turned out the way it did.

An awesome life event yet tragic
Wow this read was raw and detailed. You'll experience the physical and emotional pain within its pages. Domestic violence is real. One click! Unlike Storm, my mom refused to leave me in the hands of my abuser. One click but leave while you can.

This hits home for me and I think it does for a lot of women. The stuff Storm had to deal with was heart breaking. I did shed a tear for her and the crap he has done to her. This is a great read.

Wow what a heartfelt story
Storm has been through a lot dealing with Consequesence and still she stayed even when he beat her into having several miscarriages but she finally gave him his krama and had her day in court. She finally found a man that loves and cherish her. I would have liked to one if Consequence wife stayed with him after all he has done to Storm. It would be nice to have an update on their lives. This wasn't first read by this author and I must say it was a very touching story but had a good outcome

Wow
My heart ached to see how Storm let Consequence comtrol her to a point he got married and she accepted it. I can't understand how she allowed him to keep her away from her mother and being treated like a slave. The abuse were way to much and he was the devil. No way as his" strong wife", I wouldn't have stayed with him. One hit , Im Gone!!

Each one that battles this fight, are stuck thinking it’s ok. I would have loved to hear whether cons the coward wife stayed or left. But I’m glad storms storm didn’t last forever

This short story was lucky enough to have a happy ending. I loved her get back on Consequence. He needed it in the best way. Overall this was a good emotional read.

Glad Storm survived I only wish Consequence would have lost everything he loved. Disappointed his wife didn’t leave him but glad Stormy found Mike and love.

Omg!! Consequence was a very controlling violent man. I was thinking reading this story Storm was crazy for being in love with a controlling violent man that had a whole other family out there. She should’ve listened to her mother from the beginning. What ever happened to Melanie or Melody Consequences wife? Did she get an abortion divorce? What? It just trailed off. Mike seems cool only for a few. Consequence had a huge ego control freak. Women and men beware of ppl like this! Don’t make sense!!!

Whew! This story was good from the very first page and it made me so mad and sad at the same time. The story had a couple of grammatical errors but I didnt care because it keep me invested the whole time. Besides that, the book is a really great short story. I have never seen a character as weak as Storm was for a whole man didnt that love her like she thought he did. I read quite a few crazy domestic violence stories with crazy men but I never hated someone as much as I hated Consequence. He was a disgusting person. This was my first read from this author and it wont be my last.

Wow!!!!
Storm went through alot for the sake of love. She was sooooo crazy in love that she didn't know anything else that that Demon Consequence. I was happy she came to her senses but at a GREAT PRICE.
